We reserved for an overnight stay and here are some points good/average/not so good (I won't say bad because their hotel is new and tourism, hotels are just getting back on their feet from pandemic) The rates: 3,500 for a room What's in the room: 2 queen size bed 👍👍👍 Area is ample for the room 👍👍👍 The Furniture - one hanging desk for your personal stuff and can be used as desk for working using laptops But I think it's not yet fully completed because the outlet is not easily accessible (please provide grommet at the desk for outlet socket access) Kettle is plugged either on the side table or inside the bathroom lavatory counter. -No small fridge (which a 3,500 room rate should have) - Wardrobe open cabinet is nice - space for shoes is okay too! -one bedside table with drawer -rack for luggage -TV and heater (but ours was currently not working so 😩 nah for me) bathroom: a bit tight, shower should be located where the lavatory counter is, and lavatory counter should be at the location of the shower... With Bidet, trash in, tissue, big mirror, spacious lavatory counter, the glass partition should be check, purposed of preventing the water splashing all over the bathroom is not achieved. Please add robe hooks 😊 Complimentaries: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and refillable pump shampoos and conditioner 👍👍👍👍👍 sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, creamer and 2 bottled water Cleanliness: 1 to 10. I give 8 ❤️. Amenities Pool, Cafe, open bar (the bar code) Wide parking spaces Spa and massage rooms Service Guards are polite and gives good assistance especially to pwd's My mom is well assisted. Crew: They are limited but so far needs extra effort when in greeting guests. The tone of greetings and smiling eyes are good impressions for guests. Service - we asked for the luggage cart and it took 20 mins to arrive when we are about to check out. We asked for extra pillow around 5:30pm and it was not provided, we left the room for dinner arrived 10pm And asked again for the pillow. 15mins then it was delivered. Food : complimentary breakfast Is good. With coffee too ❤️ We haven't ordered other in their menu So I can't rate much for the food. Ambience - nice and clean, Bravo! for the stairs, you will never get tiring going up nor down. Elevator is okay to!!! Overall - it's an average stay but with potential to be awesome. And probably next visit would be much better. Looking forward to PROXY BY the Oriental Hotel!!!
Villa Caceres Hotel

During our stay at Villa Caceres, since it was our first time, the people in the Front Office are very helpful when providing locations and assistance, as well as the Housekeeping staffs (the group of tall guy assisted us on adjusting aircon temperature, when we arrived in the room). We also arrived earlier than the check-in time but they have accommodated us (receptionist named Jen/Jean, i think). I have just noticed in the morning buffet that servers are quite not that attentive on their guests even though it was not busy, some tables are left unattended, although the selection of their food was nice. I hope that they pay attention on this feedback. Then location was accessible to the city, markets and transportation.
Lotus Blu Hotel

The hotel is in a good location, just next to SM, walk for a few minutes, go to other shopping malls, there are other shopping malls in the Pacific Ocean, and they are very close. It's a walk away. The tutu is 80 pesos, and the security guard at the door calls 150 pesos. The general environment of the hotel is just for the transition. There is a free shuttle bus to the airport. You can make an appointment in advance and it will be 10 minutes away. Several pharmacies nearby are very convenient to buy masks and disinfectants. There are few Chinese here and no one grabs them. There are many meals in SM, so it is easy to eat there on foot. Breakfast in the hotel, one day buffet, one day set meals, nothing to eat, very simple. On the whole, the service is good, there are many younger brothers, they are all mature, and they feel safe.

This is a no frills hotel that gives you value for what you pay for, but what makes it shine and excel beyond its competitors is the quality of service. I was assisted by Junna to change our room after we discovered stains and a shoe print on the covers. Junna went the extra mile and personally inspected the new room we were to be assigned before giving us the new key card. That level of dedication to hygiene and guest comfort by a front office staff member is very rare nowadays. When we went to the cafe that evening for coffee and desserts, we enjoyed marvelous service from Joseph and Lito. They were very warm, and anticipated our every need. Again, that is something that makes this hotel shine. For breakfast, again, we enjoyed great service from Jonathan. There is only one downside. The breakfast area assigned to us was a tiny, humid and warm veranda. The interior designer didn't think to put fans or insect screens in that outdoor area. Jonathan brought in the staff fan from their own area just to try to keep us cool in the tropical heat. Staff initiative is really there, but space planning was lacking. Luckily we had breakfast and checked out early because that veranda would not be a great place to be at when all the other guests show up for breakfast. Their team really made our stay memorable. I hope management has a good talent retention programme because good hotels are a dime a dozen in that region and top service is their only real USP.

New hotel built next to the Robinson shopping center. Splendid lobby and warm welcome from the staff The check in and check out procedures went very smoothly The rooms are spacious and comfortable and offer a beautiful open view The restaurant has a varied menu and good home-made dishes Regarding the points negatives to improve: - service problems in the restaurant (dishes arriving cold or lukewarm) - presence of a few ants at breakfast on the condiments - small, pleasant but unsupervised swimming pool (presence of many screaming children disturbing the tranquility of the place) - work in the room below at 7 a.m., not worthy for a hotel of this quality - hotel slightly out of the center Despite these defects noted, the hotel remains probably one of the best in the city and I would return with pleasure

We booked this hotel for 1 night stay in Legaspi City. Opun check in the receptionest ask for 300pesos as per hotel protocol I dont know for what but doesn't stated in the booking and we book two rooms so we paid 600 hundred pesos. The room for me is so clean the only problem is there is no lock on toilet, bidet is not working properly also the heater. But for someone looking for cheaper hotel this hotel is okay for only one night stay to relax overall is good for me.

The day of my arrival, the hotel staff texted me asking my arrival time. I told them the scheduled time of my flight's arrival. Response was ”ok”. What they didn't tell me is that the front desk closes at the end of the business day. So, I arrived by taxi about 8 pm. The driver pointed me to a dimly lit stairway...it's the gray tiled stairway behind the double glass doors next to the massage spa. There are NO SIGNS out front saying that there is a hotel in the building. There is no sign on the door saying that this is the door to the hotel. There is no sign saying that the hotel starts on the second floor (where the front desk is closed and dark.) So I texted the number that contacted me earlier and about five minute later someone showed up with my key for my room (#5) on the third floor. (There is no elevator. No bellman to carry your luggage.) My room had no windows. Not even a tiny one in the bathroom. No telephone, which makes sense because the front office is closed more often than not. Vent fan was noisy. Aircon worked very well, though, which was nice. TV cable was fuzzy, but watchable. There is a refridgerator that doesn't get very cold. Internet was adequate, but would not win any races. They provde a dispenser in the shower with three choices, two of which were empty, but there appeared to be a few drips of shampoo available (I alwasy travel with my own bar of soap for just places like this who can be bothered to check that their rooms are stocked before they rent them.) Shower was marginal...low pressure and the shower head was too big for the low pressure. They did have a hand-held spray nozzle for the toilet, which is always nice. I stayed 4 nights, three of which were quite peaceful. No windows means no traffic noise although the hotel is not on a high traffic street anyway. I think there were no other guests in the two other rooms on my floor until my last night when folks moved next door and loudly opened and closed their door every ten or fifteen minutes (probably a smoker going out.) No phone to call closed office to ask them to be aware that they are not the center of the universe. I was ready to use this hotel on my next visit until the noisy last night. Time to look for someplace else. One very nice thing....the hotel is just adjacent to the Metro Mall, also called the Pacific Mall, also called Gaisano Mall (and it actually has another name, too, but I didn't quite catch that one.)
Hotel Formosa Daet
3.9/54 Reviews
While en route to Calaguas last summer, my bestfriend and I decided to stay the night at Hotel Formosa to explore the capital of Camarines Norte - Daet. We booked the the hotel upon the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there before. We arrived early at around 1pm but we understand that the check in time is 2pm, which is standard for all hotels. We were lucky enough to chance upon the owners of the property who were very welcoming. While waiting, they offered us a complimentary sandwich and premium options as a welcome drink - from a glass of wine, pineapple juice and a cup of Nespresso coffee. Being the coffee lovers that we are, we opted for the Nespresso. We then proceeded to our room (we booked the superior suite) which we were delighted to see was spacious, spot-on clean and had a balcony that allowed us to enjoy the view of lush greenery. Suffice to say, we had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay as I still think about the omelette we had to this day. Overall, a remarkable stay and I highly recommend booking Hotel Formosa if you find yourselves in the quiant city of Daet. Will surely be back!
