3-Star Hotels in Oslo County, Norway

"I took the ferry to Oslo, then a 7-minute walk after bus 81 from the port to reach the hotel. I got my room card an hour earlier than check-in time, and I really loved the top-floor room with a terrace. The hotel is right next to a shopping street. I bought an Oslo Pass, and many attractions are within walking distance, plus it's easy to catch any public transport. Although the furniture is a bit old, the room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious."

"The stay experience was very poor, the hotel's hardware facilities were good, the room was large and comfortable, but it was arranged in the room on the 2nd floor, and there were several stairs. The room did not have any view at all. When the curtains were opened, the platform was a platform. The breakfast was exaggerated and tasted good. However, professional training of front desk staff is seriously insufficient. At 7 am, I was sleeping in the room and a staff member swiped the card to open the door and entered the room. It was the first night I stayed and I didn't ask for any cleaning service. The sudden break-in made me startled and very upset. The explanation was then reported to the front desk: the staff confused my room 215 with another room 251 that needed repair. This kind of wrong room number and random opening of the room door is a serious violation of the privacy and security of the guests, which is completely unacceptable. At present, I have sent an official complaint email to the hotel email, which clearly requires strengthening staff training, but I have not received any official reply or apology from the hotel party, but only said that I am investigating, and it is recommended that passengers who pay attention to privacy and security should consider carefully. I have lived in many other hotels, and this kind of mistake has never happened. If a girl lives alone, it is more terrible. I can't imagine it."

"The location is not that far from train and bus station, so you can walk about 17 minutes, if you don't have too big luggage. Otherwise, there are seversl tram lines that can take you there in just a two stops, while the stop is just in-front of the hotel. We only stay overnight, having a small breakfast box from the reception at 5 AM. The third bad was not ready, but the reception boy came in 10 mimutes and prepared it for us. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, but it was not for free, as usually in Norwegian hotels. Thrre was no coffee in the room, as well."

"Arrived in OSLO to be notified that our original hotel was unavailable as they had to host guests due to the Norwegian King's funeral. Booked Scandic Go Grensen at the last minute and was so glad they could accommodate us. The staff was very helpful as we had to reorganize our luggage porter service and had a few other administrative issues. It was very stressful situation but made so much better thanks to the 2 ladies at reception who were reassuring and helpful! Location was v good too, walking distance to central and shopping areas. Stones throw away from metro and tram. Rooms were sufficiently spacious.Will recommend!"

"The first time I lived in a standardized European camp, the experience was very good, because it was not a RV, I chose a cabin, the public bathroom and toilet were very clean, because I didn’t bring kitchenware, I couldn’t experience the public kitchen, the natural environment of the camp was very good, the air was very fresh, there was 42 buses at the door, It takes half an hour to go to the center of the city. There is a supermarket at the entrance of the camp. The staff is also very nice. I watched the RVs in the camp, just like visiting the RV Show."

"The hotel's location is very central, with all the city's attractions within walking distance, right next to the busiest pedestrian street. However, it's a bit far from the station. On the day I arrived, dragging my luggage from the station on a slippery road, it took me a while to find it. There's construction happening next door and across the street, which slightly affects the view. The room isn't large, but it's fine for one person. Breakfast was also decent."

"The breakfast was good, and the room was acceptable. However, the room cleaning service needs improvement: I stayed here for three nights and requested daily room cleaning upon check-in, which was recorded at the front desk. However, when I returned to my room the next day, I found it hadn't been cleaned. I told the front desk, and they sent someone to remove the trash and change the towels. They also told me that my room had been registered for priority cleaning the following day. But the next day, when I returned, the room was completely uncleaned. I think this aspect is very poor."

"We loved this hotel!! The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly 🥰 It was great to have a bath in our room 😁 We appreciated the view of the old stock exchange from our window & the lush trees outside. The hotel is ideally located for public transport. We were able to book the sauna that was only a 5 minute walk away. We also swam from the beach near the opera house. The centre of Oslo is full of interesting buildings, green spaces & artworks. Would have no hesitation in booking again 😁"

"Apartment in great location - easy and picturesque walk or quick subway to central station and downtown area. Great little kitchenette to cook your own meals to save $ with supermarket nearby. Bathroom with washing machine, our washed clothes dried overnight hung up in bathroom because of floor heating. Easy & quick check in process even though no reception. There are staff on site - I got extra towels as soon as I asked. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Oslo."

"Everything was clean, check in was smooth, I was put to a 5th floor, pretty peaceful, I sleep well. The blond woman who check me in was very nice she even offer to notes for me that my breakfast will be packed by 5am for me to pick up since I have an early train, I was in a bit of a rush to check out so I didn’t ask the man to check but I’m sure if I asked they would have gotten it for me. Will go back again"
