The staff is friendly and location is strategic. The price is abit too high for room condition. The door is abit stuck and toilets is mouldy and leaking as well as the chair is broken. The room style is nice. It could be better if provide towel ad floor mats.

Hotel Pi Ipoh

The standard double room we had was very small with barely enough space on the floor for our bags. No wardrobe, just 3 hangers hanging over a counter. No drawers, just 2 side tables. No fridge but there was a safe. No coffee-making facilities but we were provided with 2 bottles of drinking water every day and there was a water dispenser near the lift for us to refill our bottles which was very appreciated. The room was clean and looked quite new. Comfortable bed. We like it that private parking is always available in the basement with a security guard (though he was absent from his post most of the time!) A lift is available in the basement to access the lobby and higher floors - we could only access our floor using our room access card - good security. A few restaurants and eateries nearby. Good for a short stay.
Hotel Grand Baron

i would say this hotel has so much potential to become a great hotel, from a mediocre hotel it is now. The location is perfect.. within the vicinity of the famous Taiping Lake Garden but towards Bukit Larut. Though it is bit out of the main road, it is still good reach by vehicles. Or if u stay without vehicle, u still can call for Grab for food. etc. I saw an archery field at the back of the hotel. And i know, nearly there is a waterfall area. In front of this property, there is another equally interesting looking accommodation called Kamal Lodge that i can clearly see from my room Room 204. My room, though a Standard Room, was adequately furnished, though the aircond was OK OK only prolly because they use 1hp aircond, for a relatively big room. The towel though clean, was already old and time to change it. Breakfast was additional RM25 though i didnt take it, but i saw the restaurant was big and welcoming. The lobby i thnk, can be further improved. Prolly, u guys can provide bicycle renting service etc to the guest. Maybe they have, i didnt asked. I just wish the lobby and the lift have more soft touch to make the guest more..welcomed? But the lobby staffs were courteous and friendly and accommodating as i need to borrow their phone charger for a while. some newer hotel stayed already have the USB plug in the room though. anyway, i still want to recommend this place for families..as their pool look interesting for kids..though the water looked bit murky. and the big room of course. But ya i want to come back in the future to check on their progress!
Anjungan Beach Resort

This resort offers you a well maintained accommodation with sufficient facilities. We booked ourselves for a Special Deluxe room and we did not regret it at all. Though we had to walk up to the top floor, the room that we got as soon as we opened the door took our breath away! It was so romantic. The room came with a double bed, with a view of the sea right from the balcony. The room was of a decent size, comfortable enough for 2 adults. For us, the best part was the large balcony with terracotta flooring, a picnic table, and a hammock. The view was amazing during sunset. The pool was small, but considering the number of rooms they had, it’s acceptable. It’s not that deep, but you can still swim freely when there was no one else. I did not recall if there was a gym though. The beach was just a few steps away from the property- right in front. There were so many water sports activities which could easily be rented/purchased from numerous vendors there. There were also stalls and restaurants along the road so finding your meals and necessities were easy. For mobility, we rented a motorcycle. It’s very cheap (about MYR 40 per 24 hours on a low season, weekday). Another great thing about the Pangkor Island was that it’s a duty-free island and everything was so cheap (at the duty free outlets). Will surely come again for many more times.

Everything is good, the only thing is limited parking lot. There is a limited parking lot in the hotel, when full you will requested to park at 100m away from hotel.. If raining.. you better bring an umbrella there is no proper shutter walk path to the car park.

This is the very first time the hotel having a big group of people staying here for a 4D3N meeting. They are not in situation at first but manage to cope with it eventually. When we request for something, they try their best to provide to us. The staffs are friendly, the room is spacious.

This is my honest review. 1. The room: It is clean and comfortable. Lighting could be better as its limited. Bathroom was very clean. Cons: Dressing mirror was dirty and also had a red 'bindi' that hindu females wear on their forehead. Clearly shows the mirror was not cleaned. 2. Price of the room: For its location, I personally feel that it is expensive. This is because for the same price I could get a better deal at 3 4 more hotels in Ipoh city centre which is closer to night live and entertainment. 3. Breakfast was ala carte not buffet. For the price we paid, i honestly expected buffet as that was what was offered in other premises. 4. Parking is available but keep in mind the hotel is part of a shop lot. So the parking is the normal shop lot parkings. 5. Facilities in the room: They do provide tooth brush, tooth paste, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Cons: There were hangers which im not sure if it belongs to the hotel as they were normal colorful hangers. 6. Customer service: Amazing staff. Very presentable.

We stayed here one night with a tour group. Room and bed were clean and cosy. There is a swimming pool and reading room but we had no chance to use them. Breakfast was decent with a noodle counter. Salad was available. Porridge was not hot - it could be due to the electricity of the pot was not switched on.
