A beautiful hotel located a shirt driving distance to many Ipoh attractions such as the Masjid Negeri, the Railway Station, and Ipoh oldest mosque, Masjid Paloh. The. When we arrived, the check-in process was a little slow because of the system problem. The room is spacious and comfortable, complete with necessary amenities. The hotel is decorated with beautiful and interesting paintings. There is a restaurant that served iftar during the month of Ramadhan. There is ample parking space for guests.

Good n strategic place. Surrounded by nature. Near to taman tasik taiping, MRSM Taiping n maxwell hill. Serene and tranquil. Offers good menu for sahur on the first day

The hotel was perfectly adequate for a quick overnight stay. The room was clean, if a bit dated, and the bed was comfortable enough. The staff were polite but not overly attentive. Breakfast was basic, and the Wi-Fi was spotty. It's a decent option if you're looking for a no-frills place to sleep, but don't expect any special amenities or a memorable experience.

1)Room spacious but is a bit out dated style,TV suddenly on in the midnight make me uncomfortable whole night ,haha 2)Location strategy ,located in the centre of shop lot 3)parking is outdoor 4)breakfast have nasi lemak ,fried kuoy tiao,salad,porridge, variety choice ,not bad if you are not pickey type 5)mattress too soft and need to change ,you can see the shape of mattress already become ”u”obviously

We asked her where can we find good massage/spa around our hotel area, she said that we can google! When we checked in, it would be nice if the Ms Parimala could highlight to guests where the breakfast is located, how to get wifi etc....and we will be feel welcomed. Instead, we have to ask and she will reply with an expressionless face. Perhaps she should observe Mr Addy and learned from him. 2) The rest of the staff were friendly and cheerful - Ms Chia Ling and Ms Azlin. Please convey our thanks to those who have made our stay pleasant.

The bed has a 3cm metal level up just before the bed. Is like is ready for to hit your toe nails n fall on bed for u to scream in pain n lie down for 5 minutes. My nail almost came out and when I go to reception. They tell me I m the first person to suffer this unfortunate. Along the sofa. The chandelier is at forehead level. My wife hit the head twice. So for this CNY. We can say we were given from head to toe. This message is in the hope the next person who check into the suite no need to suffer what we did.

Iron available. No fridge provided. Deposit: RM100 & return during checkout. Complimentary toiletries: Available & they also put welcoming desserts. Lift / Elevator: Available. Internet: Strong wifi connection. TV Channel: Good, also have Netflix. Front Desk Services: 10/10 Friendly staff (Malay & Chinese girl) welcomed us with a smile. One Malay guy also help to carry our luggage. He is very polite. Parking: 8/10 Open parking space in front of the hotel. Have to pay to Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh 1hr RM0.30 / 1day RM4.00 by using coupon / Park@Perak Apps / TnG eWallet. Breakfast: 8/10 Halal buffet food. Taste good but limited choices: Nasi lemak, fried kuey teaw, porridge, sausage, salad, toast, siew mai, hot beverage, orange juice, milk & fruits. Location: Rate is depends on your trip. Location was far from Ipoh City. If you want to rest only away from noise, this is the place. If you want to explore Ipoh City, this hotel quite far unless you willing to drive. Limited Muslim restaurants around. Have Family Mart & 7E store nearby the main road. Credit to staff: 10/10 I checked in during my birthday. After I went to my room, surprisingly their staff came and bring birthday cake while singing happy birthday song. I am really touched & happy. Thank you so much for your surprised and kindness. A perfect getaway from my daily mundane life that feels like home. From check in to check out it is perfect. The place is clean, filled with everything. We can cook, wash our clothes and even play a console game using the provided joystick. Unlimited toilet tissue, detergent powder, a full-size shower and shampoo bottle, utensils and etc. Definitely will come back to this place again!!

It was my second time staying at Merton. The place is reasonable for the price we paid. Free parking just right in front of the hotel. Basic and no frills, room is reasonably clean.

he hotel looks decent on the outside and the location is quite secluded and not bustling with people or cars. The receptionist was really friendly. The hotel has two levels but there are no elevators so you have to take the stairs. The pricing was average. The room was really nice but the tv reception was quite low. There's a water heater/cooler and ironing board. There is no specified parking for guests and it is limited. There are grocery shops and restaurants nearby if you want to buy some things or want to grab something to eat. The wifi is okay but not terrible. Overall nice place to stay for short durations

Location perfect just across the beach and close to the jetty. Value for money. Simple buffet, decent hospitality. The room is spacious and nice view of the sunset. The facilities maybe abit old, but the service try their best to make up for it.

My family and I went for a staycation to Teluk Batik. It’s quite near to the beach. There are a lot of parking but make sure you download “Park@Perak” apps to avoid from “kena saman” 😅. Overall the room is quite spacious but unfortunately my room got no mirror in it. Just one mirror in the toilet. The room is also convenient for my family to stay. Overall 3.5/5

Nice place for family vacation. Have a private beach at the back Pool is very big and suitable for kids also Nice sea view room Overall are good and recommended!! Close to place for shopping is important

Truly good place to stay with its own private beach. The Pasir Bogak Beach is not that crowded like Teluk Nipah Beach. But, if u want to feel the scenery at Teluk Nipah, u can take a 5 minutes ride on scooter & the pink van.

The room is good, clean and quiet big. The air-conditioning works well but have to wait longer time to feel the cooling environment. Unfortunately, the hotel system seem not cover the online booking on apps especially Trip.com. We got to wait almost an hour during check in while the staff struggled to check the booking@ref number with the PC at the counter. Luckily the staff on duty are so humble and polite.

I go to coral Bay twice a year and take hotel room. First time taking apartment and very bad experience with noise especially with neighbours. Bathroom water was very little. Uncomfortable beds. Our breakfast was also a failure this round. Next time no more apartment. Only hotel rooms.

Hope the hotel can improve the cleanliness and changed new bedsheets

The price I paid for my order included a RM10 tourism tax, why did the front desk charge me another RM10? In addition, the breakfast for a child (10 years old) needs to be supplemented by one person, shouldn't the child be half price?
