my experiences from these hotels has been positive so far. this one stands out because i think the owners dont pay attention to it. the bathroom had no warm water or adequate water flow. it was spacious yes but i also wanted to bathe. the breakfast area is in the center of the establishment and only has natural light from the top which is 7 ? stories high. so if you have and early morning the area is not adequately lit. also the breakfast bouffet is lacking in choice. very few things offered. the bed excellent as always. for me 2 were the worst elements: i tried to talk to receptionist over the phone and he didnt speak english well and i found a cockroach in the restroom at the reception area. i know this is a hotel for short stay but isnt the goal of every hotel to have people converging no matter what?

I heard some music for a short while, but it wasn’t late. I found the breakfast above average as the chef knows how to prepare eggs nicely (not pulverized or overcooked to minuscule crumbs), but the orange juice didn’t seem authentic. Hotel staff was friendly & welcoming. My room was spotless!

Breakfast is good, but just like that, it will be greasy after eating for a long time, mainly because Chinese people are not used to it, they are all cold food, only hot water in the coffee machine. The room is very hygienic.

A very good choice in León. 20 minutes away from the airport. Rooms are actually suites with a small fridge, mini bar, microwave oven and coffee maker. Nice distribution and a really comfy bed. Food is also very good, but room service needs improvement (no salt, bread or dressings if not explicitly requested). There's a small pool and gym, TV is HD with all the sports channels available in Mexico. A no brainer.

Highly recommend. The location is good, the hotel door is facing the side door of the cathedral, beside the Peace Square, between the Notre Dame Cathedral and the University of Guanajuato, there are many attractions within walking distance. What's more valuable is that it is a street away from United Garden, where the nightlife is full of restaurants, and it is not noisy, except for the church bells, and there is no noise at night. The room is not big, the table is small, the facilities are complete, hot water is sufficient, WIFI is stable (this is a plus in Mexico). There is a rooftop on the top floor where you can see the night view. The waiters are very good, and the general English is not fluent. Please prepare translation software. One of the disadvantages is that there is no elevator, and the waiter should give tips to help carry luggage. Second, breakfast is not good. There is no hot dishes or meat for 145 pesos per person. It is recommended to eat out. There are many choices around. All things considered, it is highly recommended.

The hotel is not located in the C position in the city 20 minutes walk from Notre Dame Cathedral When I went to CI, I was given room 327. It's a built-in window I negotiated with the front desk and was told that only double rooms were available. The problem is that upstairs is where the outdoor units of the entire hotel's air conditioners are placed. Unbearable buzzing Negotiate again and switch to 317 to be clean. There is obviously a twin room available. The hotel provides free printing. Remember to print the check-in card before going to the airport.

We enjoyed our stay in Guanajuato very much, and the hotel was ”mostly” very good (including a view of college steps from our room window). We especially enjoyed the included breakfast vouchers for the sister hotel down the street. We had 2 requests to be addressed: 1) we couldn't get the AC to work, which they resolved, 2) we noted a foul sewage-type smell coming from our bathroom (drains apparently), which was not addressed. I assume that there is very little that the hotel could do (other than major construction work) as we detected this throughout the city center, where periodically a wiff of sewage will hit you. Speaking with several people, one noted that this is less of an issue during rainy season where it is effectively washed away.

The location is excellent, tens of meters away from the church, the surrounding environment is very good, even if the evening is very late pedestrians. The rooms are large and furnished with good service. English is a little bit worse. highly recommended.

A short walk to many places of interest. Room was clean and comfy. Rosi at reception was very friendly and helpful with advice. Breakfast was only a short walk away and very good with a great variety from cereals, fruit, yogurt, and granola to eggs, beans, different meats daily, chliquiles, hot cakes, and assorted sweet rolls. We will be back to stay again.

Excellent place for we went to a wedding , care if it was immediate and very good even if they could improve the facilities ,worry in the room but if very clean what is not noticed by the damage of the rooms

I wanted to like this place more than I did. It has old-world charm, with the dark wood, the talavera tile and the boveda ceilings. It’s very reasonably priced, too, but you get what you pay for in a lot of ways here. Not a lot of room amenities— no mini fridge or microwave which, to be fair, is relatively rare in Mexico. But the stocked soaps and things were so cheap— like Dollar-Store cheap— they hardly lathered up. I couldn’t quite get a handle on the hours of the little convenience shop either which seemed never to be open, so no buying our own. I might have been able to overlook that stuff if the ladies at the front desk weren’t so rude. At one point during our stay, I thought I lost my key. When I went to ask for another, the two clerks literally rolled their eyes at one another before proceeding to take an inordinate amount of time contacting whomever they needed to contact to come program another key. They hardly addressed me and let me know pretty late in the process that I would have to pay for the replacement… in cash. I couldn’t just add the charge to the card on file for the room. So analog. Likewise, later when it was time to leave, one of those same clerks simply glared at me when I approached to let her know we were checking out. It wasn’t until my husband showed up behind me that she actually addressed me, saying everything was all set. She even smiled. I couldn’t help laughing at the absurdity of the abrupt change in her demeanor. I’m not sure if I did something to offend her or if she’s just a hateful person, but she’s definitely one reason we will be staying elsewhere the next time we’re in town.

Charming colonial hotel 1/2 block from El Jardin . Central location is great, convenient to return and rest between walking sight seeing jaunts. Very clean, pleasant front desk staff. We were there during the week so noise was not an issue. Church bells rang at 6:30 am but added to the charm. Room 112 was large, well decorated with large windows to let in the cool night air, great shower and cell signal. Restaurant was very good evening meal and breakfast in the cafe was good as well. For us it was a great place to stay with the Mexican old world charm that we were looking for, if you want the experience of the Hilton, go stay in a more modern option.

We stayed for 3 nights on a recent road trip through Mexico. This was a nice clean and economical spot. It was a convenient walk to the centre of town. The breakfast that was good. Personally I wish that they had bar service so that you could relax in the courtyard with a glass of wine/beer. And a pool would have been nice Overall we enjoyed our stay,

El servicio es lo mejor de quedarse en este hotel, el cual desde el momento de nuestra llegada hasta el de salida fue excelente, principalmente por parte de Oscar, quien siempre se mostró muy atento a nuestras necesidades. La habitación contaba con todo lo necesario, un espacio adecuado y una cama cómoda. La limpieza se realizó diariamente de manera correcta. Cuentan con una linda terraza donde se puede pasar un momento tranquilo para tomar un trago o simplemente descansar y admirar la vista panorámica a la ciudad. La ubicación está muy cerca del centro, sin embargo, debido a la inclinación de las calles, los trayectos de ida y regreso pueden ser agotadores si se realizan a pie. En general es una excelente opción para hospedarse, con una relación calidad/precio muy difícil de superar.
