Nice hotel, in a very good central area. We stayed for 2 nights during first days of April. There was not any noise problems during night. My only negative is that the room looks bigger in the photos than reality and no optionof opening the window.. But still enough space for 2 people 2 single beds. If you can also send your luggages to next hotel even better.

Great hotel with unbeatable location and value for money. Very nice staff who have been very helpful with practical tips for getting around and where to eat. Shoutout to the receptionist who has been to the Philippines a few times!

The Washington hotel in Hiroshima is positionally one of the best hotels that I had the pleasure of staying at as it is located directly beside a PARCO and a Don Quijote. In addition to that, directly opposite of the hotel is a Familymart convenience store and there is also a Sukiya positioned behind the hotel. The hotel is also located roughly 15-20 minutes away from Hiroshima station ( by streetcar) and roughly 10 minutes away is a round one stadium. The hotel’s staff were helpful and accomodating and when my friend and I encountered an error with the check in counter, one of the staff dropped what they were doing just to manually check us in. We would recommend this hotel for those who wish to have great convenience at their fingertips along with a very comfortable stay in Hiroshima

The hotel is great, very close to the station, just a three-minute walk away. It has a large public bath. Besides breakfast, the hotel also offers a very special dinner. There are buses and trams right outside the hotel.

Hotel is very near the Peace Memorial Park and only steps away from Chuden-mae streetcar stop. It is also within walking distance of the highway bus station at Sogo department store. My room faces the streetcar stop and is just of perfect size to me. The bathroom is a tad small but hey, this is Japan after all where space is a premium. I didn’t add on breakfast. The hotel provides tea and coffee at the lobby (from 06:00 to midnight) and also offers complimentary nightwear and free rental of pillow. The furniture is a bit dated but still functional. I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend especially to solo travellers. And the hotel personnel were so kind and helpful and helped guide me on the streetcars to take to Miyajima and they also sold me the day-ticket. I was able to leave my bags at the lobby before and after checking in and out respectively. To be honest, I’d prepared myself for the worst after reading some reviews but I had a great stay. No regrets!

Very good location, walkable distance from the Hiroshima station which allows you to go anywhere easily. Perfectly clean, convenient room. Service was great. What could be improved is the soundproofing (you can hear the trains quite loudly at night) and the choices offered at the breakfast. Maybe one more pillow and towel too.

I visited for a baseball game. It was my first time in Hiroshima, so I chose this hotel based on its vibe. It's within walking distance of the restaurant district known as 'Ekimae West.' It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Mazda Stadium, but it's definitely within walking distance. I also walked to Nagarekawa (or Nagarekawa?), the downtown entertainment area. I think it's a perfect location for sightseeing, no matter where you're going. There seems to be a path connected to the underground passage, but I couldn't figure it out until the end. The staff were very polite and helpful with all my questions, which left a great impression. They even held my luggage after the baseball game, so it was a well-thought-out and convenient location. The room was, of course, clean. There was also a welcome coffee station, and the hotel itself was calm and not rushed. Including the cost-performance, I'd give it a 100/100. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

The location of this hotel is excellent. It’s right next to Peace Memorial Park, directly behind the museum, in a quiet and pleasant area. It’s about a 3–5 minute walk from the tram stop and around 5 minutes to the main shopping street. If you get this hotel at a good price and only plan a short stay focused on the Peace Park, the location is definitely a plus. The room itself, however, was extremely small. Seating was uncomfortable — only a small stool with no back, and in my case the screws were sticking out, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. You are basically either on the bed or out of the room. The biggest issue was severe condensation and dampness. The room had extreme moisture problems — water running down the walls and windows, and the bed and floor becoming damp overnight. I woke up with wet feet and later realised why. This is not normal condensation; it was excessive and clearly an ongoing issue. I raised this with the front desk when checking out, but it was brushed off. After contacting Trip.com with photos and videos, the hotel refused responsibility once I had checked out. Trip.com eventually offered partial compensation, but the hotel itself showed no accountability. Because of this, I would not stay here again. I am not overly picky with hotels, but a damp room that can make guests sick is unacceptable. Also, I do not recommend the breakfast. You receive a very small bento box with unclear contents and a bottled tea. For the price, you are far better off going to a nearby convenience store like Lawson. Overall: great location, but poor room conditions and lack of responsibility from the hotel. There are better options in this area.

Great value if you need to live near Hiroshima Station, since it is only a very short walk from the station. The room is perfectly fine for one person, the toilet is a bit small but usable. The station nearby has plenty of restaurants to eat at, though not many places for breakfast. You can eat at the hotel, but the hotel only sells one type of onigiri set for breakfast. The biggest downside is that the hotel is very close to the Shinkansen tracks, which makes a lot of noise. You will need earplugs if you cannot stand the noise (if you want to sleep early, or if you want to wake up late).

This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Hiroshima Station, right across from the T-Site bookstore. The lobby is on the second floor, and there's a convenience store right on the ground floor. Check-in is self-service, and you can store your luggage for free. They even provide face masks with the toiletries, which is a nice touch! Breakfast is a generous spread, though you might need to queue a bit around 7:00 AM. There were a lot of European and American tourists visiting Hiroshima. Overall, a really great hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a three-minute walk from the Shinkansen. The staff are very friendly and there's a hot spring bath. The rooms are large and clean, with standard amenities like toiletries and pajamas. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a self-service laundry room. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

OOsama BoussifI think it is unfair that this hotel has a low score on Trip.com. The reason I say this is because people were either looking for a “cheap hotel” in Hiroshima and were surprised by how far it is from Hiroshima Station and the city center, or they assumed the hotel was located on Miyajima Island. Since there are only five reviews on Trip.com as I am writing this, I want to make clear who this hotel is suitable for and who it is not. This hotel is perfect for people who want to stay as close as possible to the Miyajima ferry and spend just one night before heading to the island the next morning. You can reach the ferry either by walking (around 30 minutes) or by taking the local tram (around a 10–15 minute ride). This hotel is not a good fit if you want to stay in Hiroshima and explore the city. It is not close to Hiroshima Station, the city center, or any sightseeing spots. The area around the hotel also offers nothing, there were no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so take that into account. However, if your plan is to stay one night and go to Miyajima Island as early as possible the next morning, and you are traveling with limited luggage (do not bring large suitcases or any heavy luggage), then this hotel is a good choice. We had our main luggage sent to our hotel next to Hiroshima Station and only carried a small 5 kg carry-on with clothes for the next day. The walk from the nearest metro station to the hotel was about 10–15 minutes, and it was not as difficult as some reviews made it sound. Just use Google Maps and you will be fine. About the hotel itself, because of what we read, we expected nothing, but we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in process, done by machine, was instant and smooth with no issues at all. Sometimes I really wonder what people are doing when I read their experiences. The room itself was more than fine. You have all the amenities you need, the room was spacious enough for two people with luggage, the bed was big enough for us, the hotel was clean, and overall it felt like a good hotel. I was even surprised that the hotel had a laundry room.

KKhabibov IlnurGreat room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

GGuest UserOk, this one is difficult to rate. The room comes with a magnificient view on the sea. That's what made me chose that place. But it is remote. So, if you have no car, except walking a good 2km from the train station along a road. There is nothing to eat there. It is a stop/sleep/leave concept of hotel. Once again, if you have no car... you won't walk back the 2km to find something to eat. You sleep on the floor. No surprise here and I slept particularly well so, no complains. Just be aware of that. Toilets, bath, all is shared. Room are old but all ok and one of the biggest space I got during this trip. Furnitures are also old. You may feel like you are staying at grandma place for a while. The building, from the 70's probably, is not sound proof. You may enjoy your neighbor sleep. As I did. I did book for 2. Probably because Trip was not proposing other option or because it was the cheapest one, not sure. The lady at the entrance kept me waiting for 15mn for that reason showing that she was embarrassed to give me the keys for that already paid room. This moment was uncomfortable to say the least. The remote part, the furnitures style, the oldish atmosphere, the old room door still requiring a key and that squeak a little bit... may not please everyone. It comes with its sweet creepy feeling. Not an hotel for everyone. But damn, the view in the morning... splendid.

아산치타I booked this accommodation on a whim, wanting to get away and clear my head. While it's about a 20-minute walk from Hiroshima's downtown area, I used shared bicycles to get around, and with a tram stop conveniently located nearby, transportation wasn't a major issue. Riding a bike along the river was incredibly refreshing and enjoyable. Thanks to booking in advance, I managed to get a great deal on my stay. Although I didn't get a chance to use them, breakfast vouchers were also included. Overall, I think it's a solid choice for solo travelers looking for a relaxed and peaceful getaway.

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious. I've stayed in many apartments before, but this one had a lot of pleasant surprises. Besides the usual amenities, there was an oven, and the kitchen even came with cooking oil and salt! All I needed to buy was groceries for simple cooking! There was drip coffee available too! The room was big enough, the air conditioning was strong, and the bathroom was clean! I'll definitely choose this place again if I come back to Hiroshima!

CChoi lingExcept for the Japanese dinner, everything else is satisfactory! The hotel is a 6-7 minute walk to Itsukushima Shrine. Breakfast is a buffet and dinner is Kaiseki cuisine. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is not delicious! I have stayed in at least five or six Japanese traditional hot spring hotels with breakfast and dinner. This one has the worst dinner. The hot spring facilities are also very old!
