Although the location is pretty far from the city Centre, riding the tram was pretty easy and convenient (about 20 min to downtown). The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style with a variety of breads, baked goods, scrambled eggs, yogurts, meats and cheeses. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff are very diligent. Also the furniture choices for the room were perfect. Small side tables and a small desk didn’t take up too much space. The only things that were a bit dissatisfying were the noise level (we could hear other guests’ alarms in the morning and stomping in the upstairs rooms) and some parts of the room were a little worn or old, including some damage to the wall and baseboards, missing grates from the air conditioning vent.

**Review of Hotel S.Giorgio & Olimpic** **Positive:** Hotel S.Giorgio & Olimpic enjoys an advantageous location, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The vintage decor adds a nostalgic charm to the ambiance, creating a unique atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a satisfying buffet breakfast, though the addition of a coffee machine would further elevate the experience. The staff members are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a warm welcome and a pleasant stay. The cleanliness of both the residence and rooms is consistently maintained, and the presence of a 24-hour reception adds convenience. Notably, the hotel provides a cozy retreat during the winter months, offering warmth and comfort to guests. **Negative:** Despite its many positives, some aspects could be improved. While the beds are adequate, they may not meet the comfort preferences of all guests. Additionally, the rooms could benefit from renewal or restoration, as they exhibit signs of age. Malfunctioning sockets pose a challenge for guests needing to charge electronic devices, and the inconsistent water pressure in the showers is another inconvenience. Moreover, the presence of unidentified machinery noise during the night has been reported by guests, impacting sleep quality and causing annoyance. Overall, Hotel S.Giorgio & Olimpic offers a pleasant stay with its convenient location, vintage charm, and attentive staff. However, addressing issues such as room maintenance, amenities, and noise disturbances would enhance the guest experience further.

Very pleased with my stay. Hotel kindly upgraded me from a Single Room to a Double Room in low season in November, which is really nice. The room is spacious, with good natural light, double glazed windows and good ventilation/air con/heating. Toilet with stand shower is of a good size as well, not too small and cramped. Hotel location is super close to the central station in Florence, around 5 mins walk only to it, which is very ideal for travellers arriving into Florence by rail. It's slow walkable to pretty much all attractions (within 15-25 mins), so is a good place to base yourself in for a short stay. Similar to many hotels in Italy, there are a few steps at the entrance but there is a lift to get you up to your room. Check-in process is smooth and complimentary breakfast is decent. I especially love the coffee and jucie machine and pancakes offered. It'd be great if besides scrambled eggs, some kind of breakfast meats like sausages can also be offered. They do have some basic cold cuts and cheese and ham as well, yogurt, and cornflakes, it's a more diverse continental breakfast, which is great for a 3 Star Hotel. As the hotel is very close to the Train Station, you do hear trains / trams passing through from the streets, but the noise level is acceptable with the double glazed windows' insulation. I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

My stay here was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We needed to carry heavy luggage up the stairs then take small lift to the hotel lobby. The room and toilet were a bit cramped. The floor was very cold when I visited at the end of November, but luckily I brought my own slippers. The room was clean, albeit a bit old in design, with provided toiletries except for a toothbrush and toothpaste, which was fine since I had my own. They also provide a kettle and water bottles. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions, the leather market, a halal restaurant, and is conveniently located near the main train station. We can leave luggage before check in & after checking. Overall, highly recommended.

The breakfast is delicious, with lots of fruits. The restaurant is neat and tidy, with flowers on each table, and is carefully arranged in the lobby like a living room at home. The bathroom is clean, but the blanket is too thin.
B&B 52Cento

good afternoon. the accommodation was not very satisfactory. Upon arrival, an elevator that could not accommodate two people with two hand luggage. one had to climb the stairs. four floors!!! then a not very friendly attendant. and finally, the frustration of a bathtub that, like the elevator, barely accommodated two people. When booking, they should ask if the person was a little older, it was not advisable to book this room. We booked because it was a more romantic room, but it shouldn't be sold as a double room. the beds were twins with a space in the middle where you couldn't sleep together. It was impeccably clean, but the building's plumbing was very old, the shower was full of water and the bathtub leaked water throughout the room. the location was great and the breakfast lady on the day of checkout was extremely polite and kind. The receptionist on the first day left something to be desired…

It is very important to check in online. I never received the email to do so and was left waiting outside the apartment, with no way to contact the property, as the listed phone number didn’t work. Thankfully, the leather shop below the apartment had two really friendly guys that contacted the owner. This was the only bad experience. Otherwise, the apartment is really clean and spacious, probably too much for one person. The location is great, within walking distance to most major attractions, restaurants, cafes, and markets. The shower doesn’t leave much room to move around, but a minor inconvenience. This would be a great stay for a family or small group, but as stated before, not ideal for solo travelers. And I repeat, make sure you check in online! If, like me, you don’t receive the email, talk to the guys of De Nicola leather shop, they can help and have amazing leather jackets, too!

Pisa City Center
I was stupid and accidentally booked the room 1 night before my actual stay. I was so frightened when the staff pointed it out. However he was soooo nice and still let me stay. I'm sooo grateful about that. The hotel smells nice and is decorated tastefully with artistic theme - there were paintings all along the corridor. My room is huge, my bed is grand and comfy for a solo traveller like me, everything is extremely clean, facilities are neat and well maintained. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Pisa Centrale and Pisa Leaning Tower. I'm a very happy guest. I'm so glad that I have chosen this hotel to stay for my Pisa trip. I will definitely stay here if I ever come back to explore Pisa again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a comfy stay, a sound sleep at affordable price in Pisa. I will share about this hotel on my blog about Pisa.
