Hotel Asterix

In a normal situation, I would have put four stars, but I put five to raise the average of the votes, because the hotel does not deserve such a low average. I don't know whether or not management has changed, but I stayed there for the dead bridge 2024 and I have to say that I was super-satisfactory: Modern room, comfortable bed (as requested), bathroom in excellent conditions, clean bedroom, some graphics and humidity signs on the walls but generally good conditions Acceptance Check-in in fact without problems in late afternoon, check-out also simple and in both cases very nice personal and Professional Cost Although booked at the last during a holiday period, the price was excellent Considering the average price in Bolzano (170€). Frokost and parking are payable, however, being close to the center, there are many options for parking on the street and walking 10min you can already find the first bars open early in the morning. Negative comments One bad thing, the climate is centralized and we didn't know how to lower it in the evening. When I asked in the reception in the morning, they told us that we just called them and they would have fixed it. Conclusion I repeat I don't know if the management has changed, but the hotel was in excellent conditions and I thank the sky for not reading the reviews before booking (which I usually do EVER but for the sake I forgot this time - if I would certainly not have booked here and I would have returned a lot of money since the experience was at last very little).
Hotel Karinhall

The staff were super nice and there is also a restaurant located in the hotel with really decent prices, it is a pizzeria and the prices range from 7 to 12 euros depending on the type of pizza. There is also a lift inside the hotel although being an old building and the rooms were also decently sized. The location is not the best but if your living here you’ll most likely be driving here so you’ll be fine haha. Nearby cities is mainly Trento and some other smaller villages, it is about an hour drive from Molveno and two hours to Vigo di Fassa which is where one of the main dolomiti alp is located.

TH Marilleva

I came back to this hotel again and again I have a very good experience. Perfect location on the slopes, no need to use the ski buses. This year there were more people but despite that the organization in the restaurant is very good. Waiter service efficient and friendly. Breakfasts are varied with very good coffee served by a barista. Dinner is heaven for the palate. Great selection of dishes. Very nice Trentino evening, delicious panna cotta. Restaurant staff are always smiling and helpful. Reception service at a high level. Everyone nice and friendly. Check-in is very smooth. A very strong point of the structure is a very good and talented animation team (all without exception). The entertainment is of a very high standard. TOP!!!!!! Evening concerts, cabarets and performances last about 2 hours and are very addictive. The program is very diverse and everyone will find something for themselves. I really like the time from 18.30-19.30, the so-called apertiv. Then you can eat something small and listen to how wonderfully Giuseppe Maffei plays the guitar and sings. I was very warmly greeted and farewelled. I'll be back for sure next year. Max, Juri and Luciana - I hope to find you here next year. Thanks to you, I fell in love with Marilleva. Too bad this week has gone by so fast. Thank you for everything and see you next year
Hotel Ideal Park

For some reason we were not expecting great things from this hotel, it was one of the bigger resorts we had booked for 2 nights on a 5 weeks touring holiday, most of the other places were family run, smaller hotels so we expected this hotel not to be as good. We were so pleasantly surprised. I think we went for a basic room but it was quite modern and spacious with light switches you tapped for privacy etc. The bed was very comfortable, we asked for extra pillows which were promptly delivered. Lovely bathroom with great shower. The only thing which was not good was the air conditioning, being a lady of a certain age I needed the room to be a lot cooler than it was and the reception only seemed to be able to get it down to 22 which on a hot couple of nights in June was really not cool enough, ended up sleeping with the windows open which was a little noisy come early morning. The parking is pretty good and it is worth leaving your car in the garage and taking public transport to the various places, traffic is quite heavy on the roads and parking is, well, typical Italian and not very much of it to be had. The buses seemed to be perfectly timed which was not what I expected for Italy. The bus stop to Bolzano is literally outside the hotel and takes about 40 minutes,(there is a bus 120 which runs on the hour which is quicker by about 10-15 minutes if you can get that, reception do not seam to be aware of this but on a hot day it is so much better). The spa area is very good and the swimming pool on the roof top has some amazing views with lots of sun beds. The restaurant is inside, quite large and quite brightly lit with no windows, which felt a bit like eating on a cruise ship. We went for half board which included a buffet starter including a soup or a slice of pizza, choice of pasta, choice of meat course or a full pizza if preferred, and either a dessert off the buffet or ordered from the menu. The food wast all very tasty and well presented. Would highly recommend one of the local wines, a red Lagrain which was about €28 a bottle, decent price and a nice medium body wine, recommended by our waiter. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is mainly full of German tourists and the staff tend to cater more for them however we had no problem with communication and the staff went out of their way to find someone who could speak better English to help out in any way they could. Would definitely recommend this hotel if passing and certainly lots to do in the area for at least 2-4 nights, aided by the free Bolzano card which gave free travel on buses, trains and cable cars egging you to some lovely walking areas and virtually all the museums, castles etc in the surrounding area.
Hotel Millanderhof

First: Thank you for the great reception and stay to the entire team of the Hotel Millanderhof. The rooms have everything you need, super convenient beds, large balcony, breakfast buffet is top, here too everything you need and much more (croissants in various variations :-) ), Delightful cappuccino, fresh egg food and nice talks. There are parking facilities directly at the hotel and also a (cost-effective) deep garage. The hotel is conveniently located: you are quick in the centre of Brixen but also quick at the Tal Station of Plose. The Millanderhof Hotel is also located at the Brixen Card. This is totally practical because buses, railways and also cableways are included. In this context, especially practical: stops of several bus lines in the immediate surroundings. We have a little traffic noise due to the location, but that has not really disturbed us. The advantages are greater. With the friendly and family atmosphere we have already decided that we will definitely come back.
Hotel Rodes
3.8/544 Reviews
The hotel is relatively old, there is no air conditioning, you can sleep with the window open in summer, it is not uncomfortable for people with colds, you need to take a car to the center of the town, there is no road to drag luggage on the roadside, the car can come and go, you can take the bus to arrive
Residence Antares

Wonderful staff welcome you to this well run hotel. The food at breakfast and dinner is delicious and Elena ran an efficient and warm service team. She went out of her way to cater for the vegan and vegetarian in our party, personally delivering vegan croissant at breakfast. The spa is the perfect end to a days skiing on lifts that are a short walk away. The masseuse was first class too. Thank you team Antares

Ci ritorneremo ancora sicuramente!
