Neo+ was fine for a 2 night stay. It’s only 3 years old, so I was surprised at how well worn the room was, but it was pretty clean. The aircon leaked all over the floor on my first night but was ok the second. WiFi didn’t work well at all. Bathroom was quite sp**** - could have done with a couple of small towels and a hair dryer. Breakfast was mostly Asian with an egg station and toaster. The big negative for me was the location - not the best of locations for a visitor, and quite a long way from anything. Down by the water is far nicer.

The location of the hotel is quite strategic because it is in the city center close to entertainment venues such as BSB mall and Plaza Balikpapan, the hotel looks luxurious and meets standards, there are several shortcomings such as the door handle which is sometimes difficult to open, the rooms are narrow for families, the bathroom is separate from the closet but water splashes out and causes the bedroom floor to be slippery, no wardrobe is provided

Front office staff very fast for check in process, room was clean, but for wastafel is not working properly, water still stack on wastafel bowl. ”HOT WATER” Not working really Bad Experience during stay with this property Facility OK ( Gym center & Swimming pool) For F&B Skybar food ( Nasi Goreng & Spaghetti Carbonara nicely) For Breakfast all Food was Nice & Taste Specially for ”Pecel” Very tasty All Staff very friendly and always help us during stay with this Property

Hotel is very clean and neat. The room layout was very comfort and their hospitality is really great. so recommended for solo, family, and business. The hotel also have several facility such as spa and near karaoke & club facility

The room is spacious, so suitable if traveling with children. Good breakfast, quite a lot of choices. Thank you 🙏🏻

Breakfast here is very varied, all food and drinks are available and complete. From appetizers, main meals, to desserts. Besides that, it tastes good too. Moreover, the service from the staff is also friendly, especially Kak Utami who always offers help and polite to visitors. Thankyou Kak Utami and Ibis Hotel Samarinda

We had an absolutely amazing time at Ibis's Hottel. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great decor and crisp bed sheets.F@B : The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much . I would have Luxurious impression. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back. Thank you Ibis👍

nice trip,good looking city,comfortable and privacy never forget that bussines trip,i ll try to recommended this if i will take the solo trip or holiday with my family.i thing this hotel.i think the atmosphere of this hotel will come back to life if the ongoing conditions are running normally

The rooms are quite spacious, and also clean... then the location is in the middle of the city, wherever you want to go, close by, whether you want to go to the mall, market, entertainment venues, culinary are all close by

staff were OK but hotel was very run down. staff said the cheaper rooms were in a separate block without any lift and open corridors. they also face onto a huge construction site which operated as early as 630am some days and sometimes finished as late as 10.30pm. Dirty run down room with hair and cockroaches in bathroom. only positives were good location, good aircon and good wifi in room. sleeping was very poor due to no inroom sound insulation aswell as building work. there is a small swimming pool but wasnt very clean. stay elsewhere - but balikpapan isnt a great option for tourists in general. breakfast was soso, as chicken/meat was recooked and gave me stomach problems... fruit was good

Lokasi hotel di tengah kota, dekat dengan tempat tempat yg dibutuhkan seperti pom bensin, kuliner dan mall . Saat tengah malam masih tersedia jajanan disekitar hotel sehingga dgn mudah tamu membeli cukup dengan berjalan kaki . Tempat parkir kendaraan yg luas sehingga memudahkan kerabat berkunjung .

Hotel standard worthit lah dengan harga Berada di tengah kota, breakfast kurang bervariasi Karyawan sangat ramah dan helpfull. Kalau ke Banjarmasin pasti akan menginap lagi di Best In

When in Samarinda, I both stayed at the Midtown Hotel, first, this hotel for its room rate seemed to be divided into 2, there was regular and corporate, we got a rate of about 560 thousand nets, this hotel is relatively new to sound in my eyes. For, for all this time to Samarinda, other names are the more I hear. The friendly thing is that Midtown hotel is not against disabled dwellers, I didn't pay much attention to it in detail, but at least the elevator is available default in this hotel. We got a room on the 12th floor, and once we got in, the room was a bit below my estimate, a little smaller, even a little narrower than Santika Hotel in Suburban. The bed is not too clean either. Still a little stain on his pillow. Fortunately, the bed is quite soft. Room facilities itself are a bit less. Hair dryer does not look, there is only a safe deposit box, and the hotel phone stands out. The safe deposit box in Midtown works well, some safe deposit box in other hotels sometimes dies. But, probably due to local government policies on the impact of plastic waste on the environment, particularly in Balikpapan, Samarinda, and possibly Bontang, there is no mineral water bottles in Midtown. And they have provided a water dispenser, and strangely, at night in our room there was a noise of noise, like the sound of a collapse, or the sound of door opening, that was quite disturbing our night. Luckily, we also got breakfast in Midtown there. Lastly, Midtown is still close to everywhere, including the Big Mall Samarinda, across the Midtown is also already seen by Indomare, so to buy everyday necessities there, just cross to the Indomaret. All in all, there's a lot to know and take into account when staying in a city hotel, like one of Midtown.

All iz well, for business trip. For family trip, hotel doesn't have any facilities for children. But for average hotel on its level, its quality above average. But hotel needs to upgrade its variety for breakfast. 2 nights in a row, the variety is not change. All staff are very friendly, thank you!

The hotel is located only about 200 m from Samarinda Central Plaza (mall) so it is easy to find food or to supermarkets. But the facilities of this hotel are very disappointing. This 6 floor hotel has only 1 elevator, so guests have to wait a long enough to get on the elevator. Also, the toilet in the room is tilted facing the wall (only about 15 cm from the wall) - see the attached photos. For the size of a normal person, I can't sit in the toilet because my feet stoop to the wall! I stayed in this hotel for two nights, on the second day, my room key was not able to open the room, so I had to go down again to the lobby to ask my keys to reprogram, and have to wait for the elevator again (long) to be able to get to the room. This place is not recommended!
