Mr.Asad (Receptionist Staff) was one of a very helpful, polite and fast to respond. What a very good job. The room was fantastic, it was great to be able to walk into a clean, spacious room and go straight to bed without worrying about a thing (Thankyou for the housekeeping team). If you don't mind hotels with old nuances and so-so service... Then this hotel might be the right choice. A few useful tips for you: order from the application with the lowest rate, choose the lowest class, do not order the service with breakfast, most importantly ... Lower expectations as low as possible Plus: the price is very cheap, the publish-rate is even cheaper than some apps. Their lowest class (July 2022) is only 270k, 290k with breakfast (usually fried rice delivered to each room). The location is right in the heart of Surabaya, next door to Plaza Surabaya, Surabaya Square, Submarine Monument, and 5 minutes walk from Gubeng Lama Station. And oh yeah, each of their rooms is equipped with a bathtub. Minus: some of the interiors seem gloomy and many are already dull. The swimming pool is so-so, but not child-friendly, the shallowest part is 1.2 m and there is no clear barrier with the bottom of the pool sloping to a depth of 1.9 m, so parents who invite their children to swim here must really accompany and ensure children just play along the stairs to enter the pool. Coffee, tea and toiletries provided are only for one person each, except for two towels which look very dull. The choice of food is very limited, the additional menu offered is very expensive, it's better to order online service Two notes that bothered me quite a bit; 1. A sizeable tax arrears sticker on the front window of the hotel. With the pandemic conditions getting better, I hope you recover quickly and get over it... 2. In the morning I was about to go to the swimming pool, access was still closed, it didn't really matter, the receptionist responded quickly, it's just that at that time there were several young people from nowhere, I can confirm that they were not hotel guests, talking very noisy , two of which smoked from the lobby all the way down the hall to the pool without noticing the surroundings. One of the youths who previously smoked, still wearing trousers and a t-shirt, entered the swimming pool, then used soap in the pool. Enough to take away my mood

I stayed for one night. It’s not far from train station, less than 20 minutes walk. The hotel allowed me to check-in earlier despite no personal request when booking. I booked the cheapest rate without breakfast because I didn’t know what they offer for breakfast during these times. One thing I remember the most is that the towel and linen smelled nice, I think it’s jasmine. Amenities were enough, including slippers. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Luggage rack and door handle were not in a good condition (screws were loose), and the safe box was locked, I couldn’t use it. Hotel played instrumental musics on speakers, but it’s quite disturbing when it’s 10pm and you could hear it from the room. Cleanliness need to be improved. I found the dirts from previous guest under the bed frame, and public restroom on lobby wasn’t clean enough. Receptionists were ok, I didn’t interact with other staffs. I don’t mind staying here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The views from our balcony were breathtaking, and I could easily spend hours just sitting there and taking in the majestic mountain scenery. The hotel's grounds and facilities were beautifully maintained, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help. Our little one (1 year old) also had a fantastic time exploring the property! One minor note: the walk from the lobby to our cabin was a bit of a trek, but the scenery made it well worth the effort. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!”

Pros: 1. Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya offers a highly affordable stay in a prime location within Surabaya's city center, making it an economical choice for budget-minded travelers. 2. Despite undergoing renovations, the rooms maintain a comfortable ambiance, providing guests with a satisfactory level of comfort during their stay. 3. The hotel staff is notably friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the overall guest experience. Cons: 1. A peculiar detail is the provision of only one pillow per bed, which may seem unusual as many hotels typically provide two pillows per bed. This might be a point of consideration for guests who prefer additional pillows for added comfort. 2. The bathroom conditions at Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya may not suit everyone. The absence of a mirror and the wet concept could be inconvenient for guests who prefer to keep the bathroom dry. 3. The washbasin lacking sanitation, allowing water to flow directly to the floor, may pose a cleanliness concern for some guests. 4. The absence of a telephone in the room might be a drawback for those who rely on traditional means of communication. However, the option to contact the reception via WhatsApp serves as an alternative. In summary, Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya provides a cost-effective option for individuals seeking affordability and a central location. While the peculiarities of one pillow per bed and certain bathroom conditions exist, the hotel remains suitable for those on a transit or short stay, given its economical pricing and convenient accessibility.

The staff here are very friendly, always willing to help and answer any questions even if they don’t always understand English, they use translate and very friendly to help and give advice on travelling. The hotel restaurant is very cheap prices and good food. Room service available no extra cost. Swimming pool and gym facilities however the gym is only for cardio, no weight or strength machines available. Wifi signal is strong in the room. Good location, not far from train station, only 10minute in the taxi. Recommend to stay here if you in jember, only 200k for standard room if book through their WhatsApp.

Trip reads Cheapest rooms on our sites are almost gone. Really, yesterday 3 people were booked. Trip reads Male Double Bed Dorm. Really, Male Dorm only has single beds. Trip reads 24-hour front desk. Really, night watchman who cannot book you in, sleeps .Lockers available. There are but they are never mentioned or instructed how to use. Food & Drink Room Service. Really, there's no food to serve.Serve yourself coffee, tea, cold water free. No smoking in public areas. Really, can smoke at front. Trip booking confirmation Standard Single Room. Really, it's a dorm. Apart from that it's good. Hot showers, A/C, toilet paper, get your sheets changed when you ask. I stayed 5 nights. I had a fever, morning after arrival. No-one disturbed me, no-one helped me. When I got better, I left. Recomended, but with a Booking.com rating of 9.2, you already know that. Jember Imigrasi processes visa extension was reason for going, then figured spend a few days there. Enjoyed Millennials Food Court, designed youtuber lanyard and slept, at least, 16 hours/day. Perfect. Fast WiFi. If any travel app says fully booked, it definitely is way underbooked. Sometimes more staff than patrons, so makes for a good rest. And loud loud-speaker prayer, often, Come again.
Seulawah Grand View

The exhibition and lobby are quite classy. But unfortunately the rooms are very simple and old. Cleanliness is also less awake. Especially the bed sheet. It seems that all rooms have a balcony. Only the difference between the view from the room. I happened to have a view of the pool that rarely cleaned when I saw it. The best seems to be the room facing the road. From the room you can see the beauty of the mountains and poor town. But calm, when breakfast the rations are really the champion. The view is very beautiful. We can see the floating parade, mountains and poor town from afar. For the menu is quite varied and delicious. The staff and staff are also very friendly. The hotel is close to the tour coban roundabout and the rock city square. There's a pilot cafe in front of you which seems okay to relax, and the hotel is overall good, just maybe it needs to be kept clean and updated the furniture.
