The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings with a good size car park , a little out the way than where we would normally stay but a nice if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We had a family room which consisted of a double bed and single , our room was spacious , had a large bathroom with bath/shower , I would say the hotel itself is a little dated but our room was clean & comfortable with a beautiful view from our window. We had the cooked breakfast which was ok with the usual tea/coffee, toast , we were just told by the young man that was running the hotel that he would bring out the breakfast when we didn’t even choose from a menu which we thought was strange. When we wanted to pay for our breakfast we used the bell at the bar and waited about 10 minutes then we called the landline to try and get in contact with the young man as it seemed he was the only person running the hotel at that time. In a nutshell it’s clean and comfortable it just needs some TLC and someone on the reception/bar more as it seemed rather deserted at times.

Stayed here for 3 nights & will be returning. We had the master suite and it was lovely, very spacious and mostly modern furniture with a huge bed! The only real noise disturbance was on the first night/early morning when the bins were being emptied. The hotel had a live function on on our final night and we couldn’t hear this from our room. The breakfast was cooked from order which was nice as well as cereals and yogurts ect. My partner would’ve liked the option of a larger breakfast but that’s only because he eats a lot! We have stayed in a couple of the b&bs in Carmarthen and found this one to be the best!
