Title: A Stellar Experience at This Exceptional Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at this outstanding hotel, and I am more than pleased to share my delightful experience. The environment of the hotel is nothing short of impressive. Nestled in an exquisitely landscaped setting, the hotel boasts an ambiance that perfectly blends sophistication with tranquility. The interiors are tastefully designed, radiating warmth and comfort. The cleanliness throughout the premises is commendable - from the plush guest rooms to the common areas, every nook and cranny exudes a sense of freshness and hygiene. The peaceful surroundings coupled with top-notch facilities made my stay truly rejuvenating. As for its location, it couldn’t be more ideal. Self-service, you can cook for yourself, no one serves. The room is facing the street and the sound insulation is not good. The location is very good, in the city center, where to go, the price is also cheap.

Review for Holiday Inn Express Cambridge Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was absolutely wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our visit. The customer service at the front desk was top-notch – a solid 10/10. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. The location of the hotel was perfect for our plans. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. The breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent, with a good variety of options to suit all tastes. The sitting area was clean and pleasant, adding to the overall great experience. Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was very enjoyable. I was disappointed that my room was not cleaned, nor bed made, after my first night. The sign requesting not to be disturbed was hanging on the door handle inside the room. I only discovered the note instructing me to hang another sign, found with the towels on a chair in the room, on the outside handle requesting ”new towels”, if I wanted the room serviced. If the cleaners do not enter the room unless there is a visible request for new towels, what is the necessity of a sign requesting not to be disturbed? No one is going to come in. I fully understand the advantages of not replacing the towels every day - and endorse that. But I would have liked to be clearly informed of the note in the paper that came with my room ”key”.

Stayed 3 nights so that we could visit family and friends in the area. Booked a twin room which had adequate space for 2 of us and separate area with small table and chairs if needed. Beds were comfortable and the room was warm (once I was shown how to activate the heating) Unfortunately the bathroom was very cold as the hotel boiler needed repair so the radiator wasn’t working. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is quite dated and in need of an upgrade which is on the planning. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially when I realised I’d left my own personal pillow on the bed. They tracked it down and a friend collected for me the next day. Definitely stay agin when next in the area.

The hotel is located in the northern part of Cambridge, about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The facilities appear well-maintained, and the interior decoration is charming, particularly in the restaurant. However, the noise insulation is poor, and you can clearly hear footsteps and conversations in the hallway. It's unfortunate if you happen to encounter loud or inconsiderate guests, as the noise can be quite disruptive, especially late at night. If that happens, do call the front desk and they will try to intervene - but still, whether it will work highly depends on the behaviour of those guests.

I stayed for one night at a rate of £42. The hotel is located in a busy service station area, so there was plenty of activity around. Despite this, the hotel itself was quiet. Although it was clearly fully booked, we didn’t hear any noise from outside or other guests, suggesting that the rooms are either well soundproofed or fellow guests were very considerate. There’s no restaurant or café within the hotel itself, but McDonald’s and several other fast-food options are conveniently located in the neighbouring building.

Cambridge City Center
Cambridge is an expensive town. That said, the price of the room did not reflect the amenities or the size of the room. Basically, the bathroom was so small as to be useless, and the bedroom very poorly lit and felt cluttered. The hotel is on top of a very cozy pub near Jesus Green, and within a comfortable walk to city centre. The room was clean and relatively quiet (the pub/hotel are located at a big intersection with frequent traffic). It would be ideal if the room price was closer to 100£, rather than 200£…

The location is convenient. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel to get out of the city center. The front desk staff has very good service and explains carefully. The room is clean and comfortable with enough space Cambridge is an economical and comfortable choice
