I was in Germany for a business trip and an exam, then had a layover in Frankfurt. I booked a one-night stay right next to the train station, and overall, it was a great experience. The main highlight was the excellent value for money. The only downside is the lack of public transport nearby, but it's not too far from the train station either.

If a hotel's rating was based purely on the room itself, I would recommend this hotel.
However, there are a number of things that were very dissapointing.
1. No toothbrush available. Not even to purchase. The receptionist told me in a cheerful, singsong voice that the hotel has no toothbrushes, followed by a very insincere 'sorry'. If id been informed of this in advance i would have brought my own but my booking was for a long layover and my luggage was checked through to the next destination.
2. The hot water wasn't hot. It was quite warm but i wanted a hot shower and couldnt get one.
3. No airport shuttle despite information about a shuttle being available in various places on the web. When I asked to have a taxi booked, I was told i could walk as its only 10 minutes. It might be 10 minutes but its alongside a flyover and very busy roads into the airport. It is also the middle of winter. I insisted on a taxi.
The welcome brochure has a guarantee of happiness on the back, however that's really a false promise if they can't even supply a toothrush.
This was my first stay here. I booked it because it's close to the exhibition center. The booking website mentioned it was about 200 meters from the S-Bahn exit, but that exit was actually closed. The actual exit was over 400 meters from the hotel, and I had to push my large suitcase uphill over a bridge, which took quite a bit of effort. Once inside, it felt very cozy. The website said the front desk offered translation services, but I didn't encounter that. I didn't understand what the male staff member was saying, probably instructions like check-out time. The room wasn't big but it was clean, with a kettle, which is great for Chinese guests. They even provided instant coffee and tea, which is rare in German business hotels. However, these weren't replenished on subsequent days of my stay. The bathroom had shower gel but no other toiletries. If you turn left out of the main entrance and cross a small road, you'll reach Skyline. Inside, there's a wide variety of restaurants and a large Rewe supermarket, which is very convenient. After walking through the supermarket, you still need to walk a bit further to reach the subway. Overall, once you get familiar with the area, it's quite convenient.
Headline: Not recommended if you want to be near the city.
While the room was clean, it was far too small and lacked essential furniture like a wardrobe or a mini-fridge. The bathroom was the only spacious part of the room. The biggest downside is the location; being 6km away means spending an extra €25+ daily on transport. Any money you save on the room rate, you will likely spend on taxis or transit.
I had a comfortable and convenient stay at Hampton by Hilton Frankfurt Messe during my recent trip.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location—it’s very close to the Frankfurt Messe (exhibition center) and well-connected by tram and train, making it easy to get around the city.
The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained. While not very spacious, they are thoughtfully designed and perfect for a short business or leisure stay. The bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast, which had a good spread including breads, fruits, eggs, and beverages. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but the staff manages it reasonably well.
The staff were polite and helpful, assisting promptly with check-in and any queries.
A small downside is that the hotel can feel a bit busy due to its proximity to the Messe, especially during events. Also, room sizes may feel slightly compact if you’re traveling with multiple suitcases.
Overall, it’s a great value-for-money hotel in Frankfurt, especially if you want convenience, cleanliness, and reliable service without spending too much.

Moxy Frankfurt City Center is a great choice for anyone who wants to stay right in the heart of Frankfurt.
The location is unbeatable — just a few minutes’ walk from Zeil shopping street and lots of local cafés.
In additional, you can walk to most of Frankfurt’s highlights.
The front desk staff were outstanding — warm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in was smooth

This hotel near Frankfurt Airport is in a good location. It's very convenient for self-driving with reasonable parking fees. There's a supermarket nearby, which is handy for shopping. The room isn't very big, but it's clean and tidy.

The front desk service was really good, and the location is super convenient! It's right outside the main train station, but make sure you exit from the correct gate! Otherwise, you might end up walking in a circle around the station like I did. The hotel also has a bathtub, which is a nice touch, and the breakfast was decent too.

The hotel is in a great location. If you like walking, it's about 15 minutes walk to the Roemerberg. The tram is a 2 minutes walk away, river Main about 5 minutes walking distance. There's a supermarket around the corner. Even though it is centrally located, it's in a quiet neighbourhood. The check-in process went quickly and we were able to check in earlier which was much appreciated after a long flight. The buffet style breakfast was scrumptious. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I would certainly book the hotel again, next time I'm in Frankfurt.

AArchDragonWe visited on 11 April 2026. The hotel is located near the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), but it’s a bit hidden, so you may need some navigation to find it.
The lobby is clean and warm, which is especially nice in cold weather when you’re heading back after a long day. A thoughtful touch is the complimentary fresh water infused with mint leaves and lemon slices, as well as free Granny Smith apples available for guests.
We stayed in Room 405, which was very clean and tidy. The air conditioning worked well during warmer days. The bathroom includes a heating rack, which is useful for drying laundry or warming clothes before heading out.
However, no dental kits were provided, so be sure to bring your own. Basic amenities like hand wash, shampoo, and body wash are available. One downside is the shower, the water pressure is quite weak, and the temperature fluctuates between hot and cold regardless of the dial setting.
A point to be cautious about: the street outside can feel unsafe, especially at night. There were people smoking and drinking, with occasional loud noises such as shouting or music. The area was also quite dirty, with noticeable trash and a strong smell of urine. It’s best to stay alert if walking alone, particularly after dark.

GGuest UserUnfortunately there was no shampoo or shower gel in the room, otherwise really super for the money.
Grade if you want to spend the night before the flight to Frankfurt.

GGuest UserAcceptable and OK. Was 10 nights there. Nights it can be noisy so earstops are needed. That depends on the guests. Rooms door brightly. Reception nice. Location and connection good. Room facilities have everything you need if you do not raise any raised charges in view of the price.
JJOHNNY SIU 1Booked two rooms through Trip.com My friend couldn't come to Germany as he didn't get the visa entry. Called the hotel and requested to cancel one room, but was told that they couldn't do anything as it was booked through Trip.com and it was at their discretion. I contacted Trip.com and the CSR told me that it was upto the hotel's approval. CRS sent the request to the hotel and it was rejected. Then they sent another request to change the booking to one room and was also rejected by the hotel.
I am disappointed as the hotel didn't care and I ended up losing $650 for one room.
The hotel location has no front desk. It is self-checking They will email you the access code to enter the building and also your room. There are 5 floors and one elevator. The hotel is conveniently located, 150m from the subway station. There is a Shawarma restaurant adjacent to the building, Mc Donald's, pharmacy in front and many cafes and restaurants nearby.
The room is simple and needs upgrades it has internet and a 40”-50” TV. Heat towel rack was good to have in the bathroom. There is a small fridge but no microwave nor coffee maker. The shower is extremely small. When showering, my elbow kept hitting the shower handle.
There is no iron. There was daily housekeeping. However, the shower gel was not checked and refilled. I stayed one week and by day 6, there was no more shower gel.
It is ideal for solo, business, or couple travel if you don't expect much. Location was the 5* for this hotel.
Yeah, I would recommend this hotel when you come to Frankfurt. But be aware of their cancelation policy.

MMarkusThe hotel itself its quite ok.
The only thing i need to complain is the service. Be aware that they will ask you for a credit card when checking in. I dont have one. The service staff refused to let me check in even i had payed the roomrate already and even i offered that they can double charge me in case its for deposit reasons and later refund me the overpaied money. They refused that, they also refused to refund my money when i offered them to chose another hotel. They also refused to let me speak to their manager. At the end, the only choice i had was asking a friend to help me out with his credit card.
Be aware of that, either you have a credit card ready or you keep distance from this hotel.
GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel during my recent trip and I found it to be a pleasant experience overall. The location is a bit far from the city center, but this was not really a problem because there is a light rail station right at the front door. From there, it is very easy to reach the city center in a short time. This made traveling around simple and convenient, even though the hotel itself is outside the busy areas.
The room was very clean and modern. Everything looked fresh and well maintained, which gave me a comfortable feeling during my stay. The bathroom was spotless, and the furniture felt new. I appreciated the effort the hotel made to keep the rooms tidy and welcoming.
The only downside was the bed. The double bed was actually made by joining two single beds together. This was not very comfortable, especially when trying to sleep in the middle. It felt a little awkward and less relaxing compared to a proper double bed.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers who want a quiet location with easy transport to the city. Just be aware of the bed arrangement.
