88topThe room was spotless and had no strange odors, and it was great to be able to open the windows for fresh air. The continental breakfast was quite extensive. Overall, it offers good value for money, and there was plenty of parking available. My only minor gripe was that the duvet was a bit short, making it slightly uncomfortable.

Convenient for using trains near the station. I stayed in an apartment, but the front desk staff explained different rules for changing towels and sheets. The towel was free and the sheets were paid, but the person in charge at another front desk said that the sheets were free.

My stay at the Munich Art Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The decor is very stylish and there are many artworks adorning the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, being right next to Munich Central Station. It's super easy to get anywhere in the city by train, subway, or tram, which is a real time-saver for travelers. The room rate was very affordable, and the room was cleaned daily, making for a very satisfying overall stay. The guy at the front desk was also really friendly and welcoming; he'd always greet me warmly whenever I came and went, which made me feel right at home. Plus, a free and generous breakfast was offered every morning. All in all, it's a hotel with a great location, reasonable prices, and a warm, personal touch. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich.

I felt very anxious and scared. This hotel definitely needs to state on their website that their location changes during the winter. My actual accommodation was at Nature Hotel Walde sruhe, located in the mountains. The original hotel was dark and only the intercom was working, so I was really worried when they asked me to call a taxi to come to another hotel. I was confused and didn't know what to do, but a local woman happened to be passing by and helped me out. Don't get misunderstand, the hotel I stayed at was great, the rooms, the food and the staff were great. When I arrived that hotel by taxi and I said this is so bad experience, they said me No problem. It was probably a better grade than the original hotel. But the problem is not there. The location I booked is different from the actual location, that's the big problem! The visitors who come here in winter are probably mostly people who travel by car. If I had booked this place just to relax and enjoy a holiday, I would have been very happy, but I had a schedule that needed to be on time. I chose a place within walking distance to Oberstdorf Station and the ice rink, and booked it. That was my selection criteria. No matter how nice the hotel is, if it's in the mountains I wouldn't choose it. Luckily, there was no snow for a few days after my arrival, so I made the 40 minute walk to the ice rink in the morning. However, it was dark at night and the road was steep, so I couldn't walk there. My friends were worried and sent me the hotel. On the third day, the slope in front of the hotel was frozen and I slipped and hurt my hand. I had been negotiating with Trip.com for a long time, but I couldn't get in touch with them and they told me I couldn't change the hotel. However, due to an injury to my hand, I was unable to continue and was able to cancel the remaining days of my stay after speaking with the Trip.com representative and the front desk staff over mu phone. I had planned to stay somewhere that was easy to walk to, but the time spent negotiating left me exhausted. You are too careless about people who are not used to steep snowy roads. Please think more about the importance of location. Please be sure to write any changes in hotel location!

We were pretty satisfied with our room and felt it was well appointed for the price. We got the twin bed room and felt it was pretty spacious with lots of room for our things. They had a closet area, two stools, a table, side tables by the beds, and a small TV. The wifi was pretty strong during our stay too. The bathroom was good too with good shower pressure and temperature. They have an all in one body wash/shampoo so you may want to bring your own products. The hotel does not use key cards but instead has codes to unlock the doors.
The beds were comfy and the linens were clean and new. The pillow was thin but it was fine for what we needed. The temperature is pretty easy to control in this room with an AC unit and radiator but we didn't need either in December. We got a good night's sleep both nights at this hotel. The area is quiet when it matters but it should be noted that the nearby church starts ringing its bells at 8 am and some of the businesses nearby make a bit of noise later in the night as they close.
The hotel is in a decent area with lots of convenience stores and middle eastern restaurants nearby. It is about a 10 minute walk away from Munich's Central Station and has good tram access around the area to get to most of Munich's major sites pretty quickly. We did get lots of walking done while in Munich and felt the area our hotel was in was pretty safe.
The hotel does have a small common area in the lobby and a small garden. You can get a drink or some snacks at the front desk. The hotel does offer breakfast for an additional fee on the top floor and if you are a member through their application you can get a slight discount. There is a parking garage underneath the hotel and some street parking nearby. You may need to call ahead to confirm parking because it is a small hotel and street parking is limited. They offered luggage storage for us when we arrived early but needed time to clean the rooms so they could not provide early check in. The front staff were nice and efficient.

Overall the hotel was great, a little out of the main city centre, but a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, with about a 20-minute train ride to the city centre.

Anessaaaexplore🚗 Fantastic Stay with Amazing Free Parking and Wonderful Staff! 🚗
If you are looking for a comfortable, stress-free place to stay in Munich—especially if you are traveling by car—Hotel Blutenburg is an excellent choice. I had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers.
🛏️ Pretty Nice and Clean Rooms
The rooms here are pretty nice, very cozy, and kept spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring Munich. The overall vibe of the hotel is very peaceful and traditional, making it a relaxing home base.
A Quick Tip on the AC: It is important to note that the rooms do not have air conditioning. However, this didn't ruin my stay at all! They provide fans in the room, and because the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, you can easily leave the windows open at night to let in a lovely, cool breeze without being disturbed by city noise.
🤝 Exceptionally Nice and Welcoming Staff
The hospitality here is top-notch. The staff members are really, really nice, genuinely welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, they made me feel incredibly comfortable. They are happy to give you local tips, recommend nearby bakeries for breakfast, and help you navigate the local transport. It truly feels like a warm, family-run business.
🅿️ Amazing Free Parking!
One of the absolute highlights of this hotel is the free parking. Anyone who has traveled to Munich knows that finding parking can be a total nightmare and incredibly expensive. Having free, secure parking right at the hotel is an absolute game-changer and saved me so much money and stress!

Anonymous UserWe arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, and the receptionist provided clear and helpful information during check-in. The entire check-in and check-out process was smooth. We booked a room for three adults, and the sofa bed had already been prepared before our arrival. Room is spacious and we can easily open our 28inch luggage on the floor.
All the coffee and drinks on the table were complimentary, but the minibar was not, as explained by the staff during check-in.
The shower area can become a little slippery after use, so avoid wearing the bedroom slippers into the bathroom, as you could potentially slip on the wet floor. The water pressure for shower head was strong, and the water temperature remained stable throughout our stay. The cleanliness of bath towel could also be improved.
The only feedback I have is regarding the noise from the main street. Our room was located on the 6th floor and faced the tram line. We could clearly hear people talking downstairs, as well as the noise whenever a tram passed by. If you’re a light sleeper, this is something to keep in mind.
The hotel’s location is very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants on the same street, and it’s only about a 150-metre walk to the S-Bahn/U-Bahn station. You can also access Munich Central Station through the underpass. While the location is excellent, the street can be quite busy, with many people gathering in the area.
For security, the hotel requires a key card to enter the building after 10:00 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m. You’ll also need your room key to access the lifts.

An excellent hotel with a superb location! We took the Lufthansa Express bus from Terminal 2, which I highly recommend. It stops right at the hotel entrance, saving us the hassle of lugging luggage from the train station. Plus, the subway is right next door. The breakfast was very clean and tasty; although the variety wasn't extensive, it had most of the items you'd expect from a Western buffet. The front desk staff were also very warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the German guests weren't as aloof as I'd heard; everyone was quite friendly and helpful. At breakfast, when I had trouble lifting the lids for food, they kindly offered to help, which was lovely. The room was a bit small and lacked amenities like slippers, tissues, a kettle, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, so it's best to come prepared. However, there's a supermarket right next door, making it easy to buy any daily necessities.
