Wenshu Monastery/Longhu Shangcheng Sky Street
A complete paradise in the city! This hotel is a gem. The staff at XISHU Garden are so helpful. They were caring for myself and other foreign travelers in the lobby. The staff spoke English well and could help me extend my stay. 🪷Vegetarian options on the menu 🌾 The halls and the rooms were all clean and well decorated. This location is very comfortable. The shared room is a good size. The sleeping cubby is large enough for a good sleep. (Anyone over 6 ft tall may need to consider size). From TianFu Int. Airport ride MTR line 18 and transfer at South Railway Station to Line 1. Ride to Wenshu monastery station, leave out exit K. At the Garden Inn: enjoy the living garden courtyard, in-house cooked meals, and comfortable furniture.

The B&B I stayed in on the first day of my trip to western Sichuan was very comfortable. The B&B is decorated with unique features, spacious, clean and comfortable. It has a superior geographical location, close to Yangtianwo Square, Guanxian Ancient City, Dujiangyan and other scenic spots, and can be reached on foot. The store service is very good, enthusiastically introducing travel routes, and also upgraded the room for free. It is definitely the first choice for travel accommodation.

This is a decent budget hotel with clean room & bathroom to sleep after all day out visiting/shopping. Front desk is informative. If your back facing the hotel, on your left walk straight down on the main road for 10-12 mins until you see to landmark of Panda crawling backside on the top of IFS, Chengdu. Cross the road if go IFS; dont cross the road if you want to shop at Chunxi Street. Taiko Li is behind IFS or Silver Building. The streets are bustling with people, shops/merchandise, buildings with wonderful neon lightings that surely worth your social media posts. Opposite Panda landmark is the 24hrs shuttle bus stop that goes to Tianfu Airport, vice versa at RMB15 one way. GREY PARROT HOTELS

A great hotel Concept: I like the concept of integrating hotels, cafes and bars, which makes the experience of staying in the hotel very convenient. Environment: I like the environment it creates in the old town, as if in the jungle, with many large green plants, indoors and outdoors. The big tree at the door is specially decorated with a parrot's nest, and the wall tiles in the bathroom are also green and gold with a jungle feel. The floor tiles in the bedroom also have the visual effect of a gravel road. Although you are indoors, you can also feel the concept of nature. Food: Every drink in the hotel, whether it is coffee or wine, is very beautiful and tastes great. Fuqin is a subway station away, and there are also many local snacks. Service: I like the front desk staff, who greet me with a smile every time I see them. One of the staff members also paid special attention to my preference for environment and service. Facilities: The bed is very comfortable and the shower water temperature is also great. There is a guide booklet at the door, which is very suitable for people who are not familiar with this place to refer to some travel information. Transportation: The subway station is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there are shared bicycles available at the door.

Honestly, I loved the stay here. The elevators can be a little tight if you do have large luggage but that wasn’t really an issue for us. It was convenient to get around and room was very clean! Hotel kept our luggage for us until midnight since we had a late flight.
NICESOE HOTEL

Wenshu Monastery/Longhu Shangcheng Sky Street
In the heart of Chengdu's vibrant cultural landscape, nestled mere steps away from the revered Wenshu Monastery, stands the unassuming yet conveniently situated hotel that has become the subject of my recent sojourn. While the property's proximity to one of the city's premier tourist destinations is undoubtedly a boon, the mere 10-minute stroll from the nearest metro station is somewhat offset by the arduous 1.5-hour commute from the Tianfu Airport. However, this minor inconvenience is more than compensated for by the hotel's close proximity to a veritable cornucopia of local eateries, each offering a tantalizing array of regional delicacies. Furthermore, the establishment's fundamental standards of cleanliness and tidiness, coupled with its remarkably affordable pricing, render it a tempting proposition for the discerning traveler. Regrettably, the hotel's secluded location may give rise to certain reservations, particularly for female guests, who may find the sense of isolation somewhat unsettling. The complete absence of cold water, a fundamental amenity, is a glaring oversight that can only be described as utterly deplorable and potentially hazardous. Adding to the compound's woes is the curious configuration of the floor upon which I have been granted lodging, which appears to be a curious amalgamation of guest quarters and staff dormitories, lending an air of awkwardness to the proceedings. Finally, the presence of a tea set devoid of its essential component – the tea leaves – is a peculiarity that, while not entirely crippling, nonetheless serves to underscore the minor oversights that have crept into the hotel's otherwise commendable service. In conclusion, while the Wenshu Monastery hotel presents a compelling proposition for the budget-conscious traveler seeking convenient access to Chengdu's cultural treasures, the shortcomings outlined above cannot be overlooked, and prospective guests would do well to weigh the pros and cons with due diligence before committing to their stay.
Rayfont Hotel & Apartment Chengdu

Chengdu East Railway Station/Tazishan Park
We have been staying here each time we transit from Chengdu to other sichuan scenic areas, all these while it has been pleasant and we like this hotel very much, however not this time. After we checked in yesterday we were informed that hotel will shut off power ENTIRELY from 12.30am to 5.30am for it’s maintenance/repair, means no heating aircon, no hot water , no light, lift not working basically no electricity for 5 hours. What frustrated me was hotel should notify us prior to booking or check in and offer refund as we are so tired from our back packing and all we want is to sleep in the warm comforting room. Instead we were notified after we have checked in. At least hotel should have offer some compensation like a free breakfast which I believe it won’t cost them much… disappointing big disappointment with the management. I must say that the staff are good with their service but not the management
Westcare Hotel (Chengdu South Railway Station)
4.6/5700 Reviews
South Railway Station/Tianfu Cade mall
The hotel is close to the South Railway Station, with a big entrance, clean rooms, and a large room area. It is spacious for children to stay with. The bay window is large and has a cushion, so it is no problem to sleep lying down. The room is very quiet and soundproof, and there is no soundproofing problem as I worried about after reading the reviews. Takeaways can be delivered to the door of the room. The front desk customer service and the room cleaning aunt are very warm and friendly. Because the room type is tight on the day of check-in, the front desk also took the initiative to upgrade the family room. It is very good and worth staying.

Mcsrh Hotel (Chengdu Hongpailou Branch)
4.8/51985 Reviews
A red building/Pleasure City business district
Having sojourned at the esteemed Mcsrh Hotel in the illustrious city of Chengdu, I must convey my unequivocal appraisal of the establishment. Upon arrival, one is greeted by the utmost congeniality of the hotel's reception, who, in a most gracious display, elevated my accommodations to the hotel's zenith. The proximity to the metro station, a mere 6-8 minute jaunt, affords the discerning traveler ample access to the local culinary delights and retail emporiums, as well as the ubiquitous purveyors of multinational cuisine. The room itself is furnished in a decidedly modern aesthetic, lending an air of spaciousness that is most welcomed. The hotel's amenities, which include training apparatus and a captivating soccer table game, coupled with the provision of victuals and libations in the lobby, serve to enhance the overall sojourn. Moreover, the hotel's technological prowess, manifested in the form of a sophisticated projector, enables the guest to seamlessly navigate the internet and indulge in cinematic pursuits free of charge. However, it is with a tinge of disappointment that I must note the absence of a supplementary chair and a luggage rack within the room, which, if addressed, would undoubtedly elevate the experience to the realm of perfection. Furthermore, the slight unkempt state of the elevator does detract, albeit marginally, from the overall impression of the establishment. In summation, the Mcsrh Hotel in Chengdu, with its warm reception, convenient location, and well-appointed accommodations, is a most commendable choice for the discerning traveler, save for the aforementioned minor caveats, which I trust the esteemed management shall address with alacrity.
