The hotel's location is fantastic – it's really easy to get around, and places like Zhongjie, the Forbidden City (Shenyang Palace Museum), and Marshal Zhang's Mansion are all very close by. The front desk even offered free tips on local attractions. Downstairs, there's a complimentary 'Lao Tong Zhuo' (a local snack/drink) along with free lemon water and warm water, which is a great touch. I highly recommend this hotel, and we'll definitely be staying here again next time. The rooms are also very clean. "This family suite is really the perfect choice for family outings! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two bathrooms, the space arrangement is very reasonable, spacious and practical, three or four people can stay comfortably. In terms of hygiene: the aunt cleaned very carefully, and the room was clean and there was no smell. The front desk service was kind and thoughtful, the check-in was efficient and intimate, from the details to the whole, people felt practical and warm everywhere. This stay experience was very satisfactory, because the time was tight and I didn't experience coffee and afternoon tea. It would be better if it could be delivered to the room!"

"The hotel location is perfect! I really liked the whole deco and layout of the room. Very modern and chic. Even though the windows opened to a corridor, the corridor was pleasantly landscaped and no one could enter it so it was secured. We tried their breakfast which was great for the price point. The service was excellent and the hotel staff especially the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The free laundry facilities was excellent and the staff even at times helped us to take the laundry out - the system was perfect as it allows us to write our room number. The only negative was the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned - there was dust behind the tv console/dressing table which when I accidentally pointed the hairdryer at it, all the dust flew out."

"I booked a Deluxe King Room. While not a true corner room, there was a small adjoining room right next to it. The room itself was excellent, with no unpleasant odors; in fact, a pleasant fragrance filled the air upon entering. The bedding was clean and comfortable. With a large bed, a coffee table, and a spacious sofa, the room felt very cozy and was perfect for both leisure and business travelers. The bathroom was well-equipped with towels, bath sheets, and even shower slippers. I had provided my contact details beforehand, so getting the invoice later was a quick process with a direct call. The front desk service was also great, and check-in was very fast. They even had a small ice machine at the front desk, along with complimentary sour plum drink (Suanmeitang), which was a refreshing touch, especially good for summer."

Guest UserI originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.

Guest UserI had a very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is excellent, super convenient as it's very close to the subway. It's right next to the Qingniwaqiao commercial street, including Dashang, and just a few hundred meters away from the Dalian Old Street Night Market, making it easy for sightseeing and dining.
Most importantly, the front desk lady provided wonderful service. She spoke very gently and was very attentive. Our several nights there were very comfortable. Because we arrived quite early, the front desk lady upgraded our room type based on availability, allowing us to check in ahead of time 👍🏻.
The room had no strange odors. Even though it's street-facing, closing the windows during the day kept the noise from being an issue, and at night it was completely quiet, so my sleep wasn't affected. The water pressure in the shower was super strong but not uncomfortable, and the hot water came on very quickly – hot showers were available anytime 👍🏻. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the mattress was very soft.
The cleaning staff did an excellent job. When we hung the 'clean my room' sign before leaving, we'd return to a neatly made bed, clean floors, and replenished amenities.
Overall, it was a very satisfying stay 😊

Guest UserMy stay at the Novotel Living Dalian Zhongshan Square with my little one was a fantastic surprise! The location is unbeatable; it's right next to Zhongshan Square with subway access right outside, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The room was set up like an apartment, offering plenty of space and a full kitchen, which was a huge plus for heating up baby food.
What really stood out was how thoughtful the hotel was towards kids. During check-in, they proactively offered two sets of building blocks, which my child absolutely loved and kept them happily occupied, significantly reducing any fussing. The entire room was spotless, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, and the soundproofing was excellent – my child's nap went undisturbed. The gym and self-service laundry room were incredibly practical, and the 24-hour front desk staff were gentle and patient, responding to any issues super fast. Combining hotel service with the comfort of home, it's definitely my top choice for family travel. I'll be staying here again on my next trip to Dalian!

Guest UserMy stay at the Lavande Hotel Dalian was fantastic! The location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around, and the surrounding commercial area is well-developed, so dining and shopping were a breeze.
The room was spotless and odor-free, and the 'forest air purification system' made the air fresh and comfortable. The Mousse mattress was soft and supportive, ensuring a really sound sleep. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch, making shower time incredibly relaxing.
The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and very responsive. Check-in and check-out were handled efficiently. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options, both Chinese and Western, and everything was nutritious and delicious.

This was my second time choosing this hotel for a layover because it's close to the airport. Last year's stay was great, the price was reasonable, and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. This year, I booked a standard double room. When I arrived, the receptionist said the window was an interior view window facing the corridor. Since I need a window in my room, I asked how much an exterior view window would cost. I think booking directly through Ctrip usually costs an extra 40+ RMB. Of course, I didn't expect the hotel to upgrade for free, so I asked the receptionist how much extra it would cost. She looked at the computer screen with a calculating expression and said, ”Add 99 RMB.” I said, ”Oh? Isn't it only 40+ RMB?” Then they asked for my ID. I didn't say whether I needed it or not. Seeing that I didn't react, they didn't look at me, still looking at the screen, and said, ”Okay, here's 49 RMB.” I said, ”No need. The original room is fine.” This is supposed to be a proper hotel, but upgrading a room is like a free market?
The TV remote was covered in a thick layer of dust, probably because it wasn't used often and the staff hadn't cleaned it properly. I pressed a button and the TV turned on, but then the remote stopped working. I opened the back cover and saw that the batteries were chewed up and bent out of shape – I wonder how long ago it was? Was it a previous guest or a staff member?
My flight was at 7:30 the next day, so I asked the front desk for a 5:00 wake-up call. The receptionist was very responsible. The hotel doesn't offer airport shuttle service before 7:00, so I hailed a taxi outside the hotel. It was easy to get a taxi.

Henry0513The hotel is super close the airport yet we were not bothered by the noise. I got to be honest this is not a super luxury hotel, but suite we booked is a perfect stay before our flight. The room is clean and that is very important to us as we travel with a kid. The staffs are very responsive and friendly. Restaurant is great, we order mostly home town food but they are surprisingly delicious.

The staff are very friendly. Of course, you can register your stay, and it's a 3-5-minute walk from Exit D of Xi'an Road.
I asked for medicine for my stomachache and they kindly told me where the pharmacy was. I asked for more water and towels, and they obliged. I'm so grateful to the security guard who even asked if I was Korean!
There's a waste disposal facility next door, so please only book if you can tolerate this.

The location is excellent, with convenient transportation, especially to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, well-equipped, making for a great stay.
The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional, providing a lot of help and making us feel right at home.
The restaurant downstairs was also a pleasant surprise; the food was delicious and completely exceeded our expectations.
