Anonymous UserI really liked this hotel; it absolutely met my expectations. The (small) gym was a definite bonus for me, especially since I didn't even know it was there when I booked! Ultimately, for my specific trip, the hotel's location was slightly less convenient than another option I had in mind, but certainly not bad at all – just in comparison. This also had to do with having to change my transport to Antwerp at the last minute, which had nothing at all to do with the hotel, but rather with the trains from Rotterdam.

This hotel is very old and run-down. There's a strong smell coming from the bathroom. The first room we were given, when we opened the door, there were suitcases and men's shoes inside, but no one was there. We were very shocked and asked to change to a second room. When we opened the second room, the bathroom smell hit us with a very strong odor. The third room we got was very cramped. If possible, you should choose a different hotel.

Alina MarkovaExcellent hotel! I 100% recommend it. The location is super convenient, right next to a small square with great bars. The air conditioning was very good, the room was large, and the big bed had clean linen, comfy pillows, and a mattress – we slept like babies! It was very quiet, couldn't hear the street or the neighbors. There's a nice cafe in the hotel, but it only operates until lunchtime. On the bright side, they offer healthy food options, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and eager to help. You can store your luggage for free in a locker both before and after check-in. There's a mini-kitchen with crockery and a microwave. They also have a coffee machine and a snack machine, a co-working area, and a chill-out zone in the inner courtyard. I really liked the price and the hotel in general. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel, smells gorgeous as soon as you walk in. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Location is excellent, safe and close to restaurants, bars and museums, as well as the tram taking you back to the city centre, close to the train station. My only criticism would be that the room doors tend to slam, the person in the room next to mine slammed their door early repeatedly in the morning and late at night so I recommend bringing earplugs. I missed having a kettle in the room, as an Irish person I like my tea early/late and not trying to figure out how to use the nespresso machine in the public hallway to get hot water, so even being able to request a kettle would be great. Very clean and comfortable stay. Recommended!

Super Furry
Appartement and Hotel style stay in the Dockland neighborhood of Antwerp. About 20min with public transport very close by around the corner of Hotel and plenty of city bicycle and e-stepper options to move around. My check in experience was efficient and friendly making me feel welcome. The Hotel has a clean and tidy all over appearance and my room #306 had a spacious feel and a good size double bed.
NO AIRCO!! That was one major minus point for me, the Hotel does provide ventilators but during a heat wave it was not enough to feel comfortable. The Hotel has no ”Do not Disturb” door signs which resulted in Housekeeping entering without knocking on door.
I brought this to the attention of the receptionist.

Guest UserExcellent location, minutes away from the city centre. The hotel is well-designed, staffs are friendly and incredibly helpful. Room is well-equipped, very spacious and has a high ceiling. It also has large windows which let in plenty of sunlight. Bed and mattress are comfortable. Bathroom is reasonably-sized, and has all the things one needs. Water pressure and temperature are excellent. The room is soundproof from the street noise, but not from the hallway, so the door-closing noise from the next room can be loud enough to wake one’s up in the morning. The room is largely clean, but the shower curtain needs more frequent washing. All and all, it was an excellent stay.

WuyuedetiankongxiaThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to the train station, with rooms on both sides of the street, offering nice night views. It's also very close to Chinatown. City Hall Square is a bit of a walk, about 1.5 kilometers.
We booked a room with a 1.8-meter king bed and a sofa bed (which my friend said wasn't very comfortable). The room itself was quite spacious, and the price included a standard continental breakfast, which was decent.
Now for the less-than-ideal parts. The hotel initially couldn't find my booking, stating their system showed a reservation for the previous day, which wasn't mine. It took a long time to sort out the check-in process. And then, this was by far the worst night's sleep I've ever had. Around 11:30 PM, people started checking into the room next door – it felt like a whole group across several rooms. They all gathered in that one room, started playing music, singing, chatting loudly, and moving furniture around. It was incredibly noisy. After enduring it for a while, I couldn't take it anymore and called the front desk. They said they'd handle it, but after a long wait and no change, I called a second time. Someone eventually came up and knocked on their door, and they stopped the music. However, shortly after, they resumed their loud talking and laughing. Plus, I don't know where all the furniture came from, but they kept moving things around. I barely slept in the first half of the night. It was a truly dreadful experience.

The room was clean, we booked a family room for four people but the sofa bed was not made up. Then we were told to make it up ourselves which was fine, but there were no pillows and blankets. We could’ve swapped rooms but one staff member prevented this from happening. The toilet smelt terrible of urine. Overall, the hotel was nice and the breakfast was good too, the staff in the cafeteria were very good and helpful. We travelled from Antwerp to Brussels for the day and had an amazing time.

Guest UserThe room size was generous, and the bathroom was quite spacious. I was satisfied with the cleanliness, though the soundproofing was a bit lacking, but still acceptable. The staff were friendly, and our room was cleaned daily while we were out. However, on the night before our departure, someone knocked on our door for cleaning at around 8 PM, which we declined. Downstairs, the hotel offers complimentary drinks and some small snacks. In May, it was still cold, so coming back from outside and having a hot milk or hot chocolate was really comforting. However, I wouldn't recommend adding the hotel breakfast. It's €16 for adults, but the selection is truly limited, with only some bread, scrambled eggs, a small fruit salad, ham, and cheese.
To get to the hotel from the airport, take the train to Mechelen station, which is about a 10-minute ride, then it's another 10-minute walk to the hotel. To reach the city center tourist area, Brussels Square, you'll need to walk about ten minutes to catch a train, and the journey takes about fifteen to twenty minutes.
There are some eateries near the hotel, but most only open in the afternoon. About an 8-minute walk away, there's a small supermarket, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find more restaurants, shops, and attractions.
Overall, this hotel offers good value for money.
