Wanning Bali Village, nestled within the Nanyang-style cultural park in Xinglong, offers a taste of Bali without leaving the country. The iconic Good and Evil Gate, along with bas-relief sculptures and lush coconut groves, make for photogenic spots. The park provides insights into the culture of returned overseas Chinese from Southeast Asia and offers traditional song and dance performances. The park is small, allowing for a leisurely stroll and making it a convenient stop for photos. Shimei Bay, Wanning, Hainan. Located on the eastern coast of Liji Town, Wanning City, Hainan Province, within the 18°N golden resort belt, this resort area is developed by China Resources. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Shenzhou High-Speed ​​Railway Station, closer than Wanning Station. Boasting approximately 6 kilometers of silver-white sand beach, it comprises two crescent-shaped bays, backed by a globally rare thousand-year-old coastal green forest, and opposite the uninhabited Jiajing Island (a filming location for "If You Are the One 2," a diving paradise). The beach is free to enter; the sand is fine, the water is clean, and it's quiet with few people. There are high-end hotels such as Le Méridien and Westin, Phoenix Jiuli Bookstore (Hainan's most beautiful bookstore), an international yacht club, and a coastal highway. Book clubs and art exhibitions are frequently held, and water sports include snorkeling, sailing, and surfing. The core area attracts many tourists; it's a great place to watch the sunrise or sunset. Public transportation from the city center is available, but taxis and cars are even more convenient.

Wenchang Moon Bay, located at the easternmost tip of Hainan Island, is a crescent-shaped pristine bay. It's not overly commercialized, offering a tranquil environment with few crowds, fine white sand, and crystal-clear water that gradually transitions into glass-like clarity. Its main appeal is its unspoiled natural environment for sea views, sunrises, beachcombing, and quiet relaxation – perfect for taking photos without crowds. It's not a bustling bathing beach, has very few amenities, and isn't ideal for purely leisurely water activities or dining. Highlights: 1. Extra-long pure white sand beach (approximately 8-11km), gentle slope, wide shallows at low tide, and high visibility; crystal-clear sea on sunny days; at low tide, you can dig for hermit crabs, small crabs, shells, and go beachcombing (check tide information in advance). 2. Panoramic views from the top of Tongguling Mountain: crescent-shaped coastline, white sand beaches, and coastal forest belts—a breathtaking vista; stunning sunrise (east of Hainan facing the sea), sunset is less spectacular than on the west coast. 3. Off-the-beaten-path photo opportunity: Hobbit-style cabins near the Hejing Moon Bay residential area offer free photo opportunities—a fairytale setting combined with the sea. 4. Very few people, quiet, clean, with minimal litter and almost no commercial noise.

It offers much more to do than Sanya. During the day there's paddleboarding and surfing, and at night there are bars, electric scooters, and walk along the coconut palm-lined avenue. You can also enjoy fireworks on the beach at night. The sea is also very clean.

This was a fantastic snorkeling experience! The instructors were incredibly patient and helped me get into the water little by little. The whole package was excellent value for money – the most fun I had during my Hainan trip! The water quality near Jiajing Island was amazing; I saw so many beautiful fish! The instructors also guided me through taking photos and videos! And both photos and videos were free!!! It was such a great deal!!! The glass-bottom boat photographers were also very patient, teaching us many great poses, and the photos turned out beautifully. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying experience!!!
