Things to do in Talloires

Annecy's old town sits right by the lake, with canals winding through it like a spider web. Colorful old houses line the cobblestone streets, their windowsills adorned with flowers. The Palais de l'Île, nestled in the middle of the canal, is a photogenic triangular structure. People sunbathe on the lakeside grass, the water so clear you can see the fish. Walking along the canal, you'll inevitably encounter ice cream shops; a stroll around will leave you with two empty cups in your hands.

A natural lake where beauty and purity coexist. The melted ice and snow from the Alps eventually converge here. A large number of white swans breed here all year round, and you can also take a cruise on the lake.

The Island Palace is located on a small island in the river in the center of the old town of Annecy. It is a small triangular castle built in 1132. The Island Palace was originally the residence of the lord of Annecy, and soon became the administrative headquarters of the Count of Geneva. Later, it became a court, mint and prison. Now there is a small museum here to showcase the local history.
