Qingmuchuan Ancient Town

Qingmuchuan Ancient Town boasts picturesque scenery, pristine ecology, and simple folk customs. The ancient town has a long history; in ancient times, it was an area where Qiang and Han people lived together, and it gradually prospered during the Ming Dynasty, with most residences built during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Today, the ancient town retains large clusters of ancient streets, ancestral halls, plank roads, and traditional dwellings, and has been listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. Here, the river runs through the town, and people go about their various tasks at a leisurely pace, enjoying a free and easy life. Huilongchang Old Street was built during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty. The street is 800 m long and 4 m wide, and has largely retained its ancient appearance. The Wei Family Courtyard was built by Wei Futang, a well-known gentleman of the time. Three sections of the Wei Family Courtyard remain, along with a middle school he advocated establishing, all well preserved. There are also ancestral halls built during the Ming and Qing dynasties for the Qu, Wei, Zhao, and Tu families, as well as erected steles with inscriptions. Five km from the old street lies an ancient commercial trade route from the Ming and Qing dynasties leading to Sichuan and Gansu. It stretches 60 km, following the river upward, with paths cut into the cliffs, making the route very steep and dangerous. The 2008 Wenchuan earthquake caused parts of the ridges and walls of the Wei family residence to crack and collapse. The Huilongchang old street, built during the Ming Chenghua period and over 800 m long, was also damaged, and many old houses had collapsed. Because aftershocks continued in Qingmuchuan Ancient Town, the preservation condition of these historic sites was concerning, but they were fully restored after the earthquake, and their appearance has returned to its original state.Ningqiang · 63.2km from downtown

Qingmuchuan Ancient Town is known as "one foot in three provinces" and "a place where a rooster's crow can be heard in three provinces". The town has 260 existing ancient buildings, most of which are decorated with wood carving, brick carving, stone carving, and painting techniques. They are exquisitely crafted and have a strong local style.

Longtoushan is very well managed, and the weather was perfect when I went – sunny and the scenery was absolutely stunning. It was definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys hiking; you absolutely must experience it!

Xinghan Scenic Area covers a vast area, and its architecture strictly follows the style of the Han Dynasty. Every brick and tile is full of hidden secrets, aiming to recreate an "Oriental Holy City" that can be walked through, seen, and experienced.

Zhuge Liang (Marquis Zhongwu) is one of the most intelligent people in history and the key figure in the establishment of the Shu Han dynasty. For over 1000 years, he has been highly respected by society.

It's pretty good. It's meaningful to come all the way to see Mr. Kong Ming. Death before success always makes heroes cry. But to be honest, the Cold Weapon Museum is a bit small. Alas, Prime Minister Zhuge. Alas, Mr. Kong Ming.

Only die-hard fans of the Three Kingdoms would think to come to this place, right? I sent the Prime Minister some modern-day "instant-heating rice," wishing him success in his Northern Expedition in another time and space.

The scenic area is quite large, with mountains and water, and it's very pleasant to look at. However, it must be even more beautiful in autumn when the leaves turn red. The road is not easy to walk; it took me two hours to get there via the mountain path, and there's no other way to go. There weren't too many people, and there are guesthouses at the foot of the mountain.

⛺️Seasonal Activities: The weather wasn't great this time, it was raining, but the autumn scenery was still quite beautiful. Hiking, working up a sweat, occasionally stopping to admire the scenery, and enjoying some local food are all good options. 📍Route: The cable car isn't open yet, so everyone is walking. It's mostly steps, not too difficult. Between the Fire Dragon Gate and Chicken Crest Cliff routes, I recommend the Fire Dragon Gate route, as it's relatively easier. 📷Photography: The entrance and the summit are great spots for taking pictures. Remember to bring a power bank, haha!

The overall environment of Zhang Liang Temple is quite nice. The scenic area isn't large; you can walk around it in a little over an hour. Before going, be sure to learn about Zhang Liang's life to make it more interesting, or hire a guide. Since it's Sunday, parking is relatively easy; you can park on the street, but private parking costs 10 yuan. The ticket price is 50 yuan, which feels a bit high.

On the way, we met a kind man from Xi'an who recommended Chenggu to us. We are truly grateful to him for letting us visit such a culturally rich and historically significant place. Zhang Qian is the pride of the people of Chenggu, and even more so, the pride of all Chinese people! The museum is not only free, but all other services are also exceptionally perfect and thoughtful. Everyone was very enthusiastic and professional, allowing me to experience the warmth and friendliness of the people of Chenggu through this window. Afterwards, we went to the Orange Orchard Scenic Area. Chenggu is truly beautiful!
