We took the tour on January 1st, 2026, with Chris as our guide and were absolutely thrilled. The tour was very interesting, exciting, and perfectly planned and organized. Chris spoke excellent English, was incredibly friendly, and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole tour even more enjoyable. We had plenty of time to see everything at our leisure, without any stress. The bus driver was also very friendly – the two of them were a well-coordinated team. I particularly enjoyed the visit to St. Ivan's Cave. Especially at the beginning of the new year, the spiritual aspect was something very special and was personally very beneficial for me. In addition, there was a lot of interesting information not only about the cave, but also about Bulgaria and Sofia in general – all in a comfortable bus. Top-notch organization from start to finish – we would do it again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This day was incredible. I highly recommend the Rila Seven Lakes. The Rila Shuttle service was perfect for this experience, as they provide all the necessary information to ensure a smooth day and give you complete freedom to choose the activities you enjoy most. Highly recommended.

It was a great decision to choose the excursion with Traventuria. The guide Iuliana was always concerned about us, during the 2-hour journey to Rila she was explaining the history and cultural features of Bulgaria to better understand the visit to the monastery. She also accompanied us to the cave, where we did a short trek until we reached the cave. The bus was in very good condition and the organization and schedules of the activity were met at all times.

The monastery was very beautiful and the 7 Rila lakes was amazing as well the walk is about 2-3 hours and very beautiful. The guide made a good atmosphere in the car and the people were also very nice


