We really enjoyed our visit to Quinto do Bomfim. We did it as a day trip from Porto coming by train and it was an easy if longish journey. We also appreciated that it was in easy walking distance from the Pinhao rail station. The tour was interesting and very good for novices like us. Best of all most of it was in air conditioning which we really appreciated in the hot August weather. The highlight was the tasting, in a lovely, relaxing room overlooking the river. We stayed for quite a while and just enjoyed the serenity of it all. I’d definitely recommend the visit to others in the area.

Our guide Ricardo made the experience very enjoyable. He was very informative and attentive. We LOVED the boat ride, the views were breathtaking and honestly the highlight of the experience for us. Only complaint would be the amount of wine/food. But honestly it mightve been a normal amount that my American brain can’t comprehend. Overall great experience
