Reception is good in Chetumal, but it deteriorates along the highway between Chetumal and Merida. Even using the local Telcel signal worsens, so I think it's due to the location and terrain. Reception is excellent within the city.

When using Claude, be aware that Hong Kong IP addresses are not supported, so this Singapore eSIM is very convenient. Signal strength is poor in the jungles and highways of Merida and Oaxaca, and also slightly weaker in sheltered areas of Oaxaca city, but overall the experience is quite good. There is a slight delay, but the situation is similar with a local SIM card.

Absolutely delightful. I bought it for Turkey. The connection was simple; I connected to Turkcell myself. The signal was great everywhere, and the internet was stable. It lasted more than a week. One downside: I never received a confirmation SMS for my travel card, but we solved the problem another way. SMS was included in the package, though. The number was French, and they called several times.
