The journey wasn't ideal, as I had to travel alone from Basel to Lucerne, and it later turned out that the tour guide had indeed intended to pick me up in Basel. There was clearly a communication problem. The tour guide, Lincoln, was fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Everything was perfectly planned and well-organized, and we received a wealth of information.

We had a fantastic day in Lucerne. Having realized on previous trips that we prefer to spend more time in one place, the extended stay was perfect for exploring everything independently. Our guide, Walter, was wonderful! He shared interesting facts about the surrounding area on the bus ride from Zurich, and we really appreciated the map showing the sights, meeting points, and return times. Lucerne itself is a beautiful city. Because of the weather (32 degrees Celsius), we decided to visit the sights first, grab a bite to eat at a restaurant, and then go for a swim near the bus stop. All in all, a perfect day!

A relaxing day. The Rhine Falls are definitely worth seeing. Our guide, Martin, was very friendly, providing detailed explanations of the historical stories and even helping us take photos. 🥰
