The Tomb of King Sulu is located in Beiying Village, North District of Dezhou City. In 1997, it was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in the province. The ancient Sulu Kingdom is located on the Sulu Islands in the Philippines. It is an emirate that believes in Islam. The country is divided into three princes, the East King, the West King, and the Dong King. The East King is the respect. In the Ming Dynasty of our country, the ancient Sulu Kingdom started close friendly exchanges with our country. In the fifteenth year of Yongle's reign in the Ming Dynasty, three kings on the Sulu Archipelago—the Eastern King Batu Gepahala, the Western King Mahala Gemading, and the Dong Wang Batu Gepalabu, led a group of 340 family members to form a friendly mission. He came to China for a friendly visit and received a grand reception by Emperor Yongle of Ming Dynasty, Zhu Di. The three kings stayed happily in Beijing for 22 days, and returned to the country by boat along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. The king of the east was unfortunately ill among the returnees who took the route from Shandong. On September 13, 1417, he died of illness in Anling Township, north of Dezhou. Hall. When Emperor Yongle heard the obituary, he was deeply mourned, so he sent the minister of Rites to Dezhou with a sacrificial text to be buried with Wang Li. The eldest son of the East King, Duma Han, returned to the country to inherit the throne, and the princess Ge Muning, the second son Wenhala, the third son Andulu and more than ten attendants stayed in Dezhou to guard the tomb. In the autumn of the 16th year of Yongle, Emperor Yongle wrote another article himself, ordering the Leshi Temple to "perpetuate forever". After the death of Princess Dong and the two princes, they were buried in the southeast corner of the cemetery respectively. In the ninth year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1713), according to the request of the descendants of the East King to be naturalized in China, the Qing court was recited, and the inscription was naturalized in China with the surnames Wen and An, and became a member of the big family of the Chinese nation. The descendants of the Eastern King have been passed down to 21 generations so far. In 1980, the Philippine ambassador to China, Dr. Reyes, made a special trip to Texas to pay homage to the tomb of the Eastern King and meet with the descendants of the Eastern King. In 1986, China and the Philippines co-produced a large-scale historical and legendary feature film "The King of Sulu and the Emperor of China".Dezhou · 6.8km from downtown

Yuwang Pavilion Museum is located 3 kilometers northwest of Yucheng City, covering an area of 136.5 acres. It was completed and opened to the public in 1997. The park consists of large courtyards facing south from the north, including the Yuwang Hall, the East and West Side Halls, the Bell and Drum Towers, etc. It is composed of the ruins of Guqiu, the Yuwang Pavilion and an artificial lake. The structure is novel, compact, magnificent, simple and elegant. At the south end of the courtyard is an archway-style mountain gate. Above the gate is the handwriting of "King Yu Pavilion" inscribed by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Walking up the steps to enter the mountain gate, there is a 6-meter-wide north-south corridor with pines and cypresses planted on both sides. On the east side of the south end of the corridor stands a stone tablet, which is engraved with the inscription on the inscription on the King Yu Pavilion; Focus on the name of the donation unit and the name of the individual who donated to Yuwang Park. On the east and west sides of the northern part of the courtyard, there are 11 ancient-style side halls; The main hall covers an area of more than 300 square meters, with 5 bays in the west width, double eaves, Xieshan Mountain, and nine ridge tops. The total height is 16.7 meters, the length is 25.4 meters, and the depth is 15 meters. Above the main entrance of the main hall and between the two eaves is a gilded plaque of "King Yu's Palace". There is a couplet on both sides of the door, a glazed tile roof and a seal painting, and the golden walls are brilliant. In the center of the hall, there is a statue of King Yu, about 6 meters high, behind which is a statue of a jade girl holding a fan and standing on both sides. Outside the north gate of the large courtyard is "Juqiu Mountain", which is 45 meters long from north to south, 50 meters wide from east to west, and 8 meters high. According to the records of the old records: "Dayu built this mound when he was controlling the water to observe the water potential". In the Ming and Qing dynasties, Yuwang Pavilion was built on the mound. After years of disrepair and destruction, the buildings on the mound disappeared. The mound is now overgrown with weeds and bushes. In 1974, archaeologists visited here and found lime soil layers, and picked up ancient cultural relics such as single-hole stone shovels, egg shell fragments, stone axes, pottery projectiles, pottery spinning wheels, etc., which were identified by the Shandong Provincial Museum as Longshan cultural relics. , Guqiu belongs to the "Longshan Cultural Site". When Yuwang Park was built in 1995, on the northeast side of the "Guqiu Mountain", a large earth mound with a height of 15 meters was made of earth, and the surrounding cement frame blocks were used to stabilize it, and 64 steps were built with strip stones on the south side of the earth mound. Reaching the top of the mound, an ancient-style pavilion with a height of 8 meters and an octagonal shape was built on the top of the mound, which is called "King Yu Pavilion". The pavilion is supported by 16 vermilion columns, and the wooden top wall is surrounded by a painting of the story of Dayu's flood control. The entire "King Yu Pavilion" is magnificent. People stand in the pavilion, one can touch the scene and feel the emotion, and cherish the memory of King Yu's achievements in water control. Second, you can overlook the appearance of Yucheng City and witness the rural pastoral scenery around. On the southeast side of Yuwang Pavilion, the "Yuwang Lake" with a water surface area of 25 mu is excavated. The water depth is 2 meters and it is crystal clear. The surrounding weeping willows are dotted with beautiful lake scenery.Yucheng · 3.3km from downtown

Ancient Town of Qingzhou

Qingzhou is one of the ancient nine provinces of China. Since the early Western Han Dynasty, six cities—Guang County, Guanggu City, Dongyang City, Nanyang City, Dongguan Weizi City, and Qicheng—were successively built on this land, with a continuous urban history spanning over two thousand years. Today, the Ancient Town of Qingzhou has been comprehensively protected and restored, forming three major districts: the Beiguan ancient block in Dongyang City, the Ouyuan historical and cultural block and the South Gate block in Nanyang City, and the Zhaode ancient block in Dongguan Weizi City. Government buildings, traditional residences, and classical gardens are scattered across hundreds of ancient streets and alleys, such as North Gate Street and East Gate Street, with their blue bricks and dark tiles showcasing distinct Ming and Qing architectural styles. Unlike many entirely reconstructed ancient towns, this is a "living ancient town," where original residents still live in the old streets and alleys, and intangible cultural heritage items like the cuoqin are passed down on the streets, blending the vibrancy of daily life with ancient charm. A visit can begin by ascending the Fucai Gate Tower at the south gate of ancient Nanyang City for a panoramic view of the town's sea of dark tiles. Ouyuan is a preserved classical garden within the town, originally the eastern garden of the Ming Dynasty's Prince of Heng's residence and later the private garden of Feng Pu, a grand secretary during the Qing Kangxi era. Its three-peak rockery embodies the grandeur of northern landscapes. Figures like Fan Zhongyan and Ouyang Xiu once served as officials here, and Li Qingzhao lived in Qingzhou for over a decade, composing numerous ci poems. Historical relics like the Qingzhou Prefecture Examination Hall are also scattered throughout the streets, where traces of this cultural legacy can often be encountered. The main street is densely lined with shops, but to avoid crowds, one can turn into the side alleys or head straight to Zhaode Ancient Street—where rows of Ming and Qing-era houses remain, with wooden doors, stone steps, and flagstone paths offering a glimpse of old Qingzhou's daily life.China · Qingzhou

The Chinese version of Disneyland has decent attractions and is quite fun. It gets very crowded during the Spring Festival, so you can enter as soon as it opens and stay until closing time. There's something for both adults and children. The drone and fireworks shows at night are also good. However, the downside is obvious: after watching the fireworks, you can't get out of the parking lot due to severe traffic congestion!

The King of Sulu was the king of a country in the Philippine Islands during the Ming Dynasty. He led a large group to Beijing to pay homage to Emperor Yongle. On the way back to China, he passed through Dezhou, Shandong and unfortunately died of illness. Emperor Yongle specially issued an order to bury him there as a prince. The King of Sulu's queen, a son and some of his followers settled in Dezhou and guarded the king's tomb for generations until the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. The descendants of these tomb keepers officially became Chinese citizens.

Parking is easy, and the Jinshan Temple gate is just a short walk away, making it very convenient. The temple is quite large, with exquisite halls and majestic statues. It's shaded by trees, and there's a small lake with a small bridge, where waterfowl flock to swim in groups, a truly fascinating sight. Towards the back, there's a building shaped like the Temple of Heaven, predominantly white and gold. It's beautiful and well worth a visit.

Yuwangting Tourist Attraction, a place with profound historical and cultural heritage, made my trip full of surprises and gains. The scenic spot is located in Shiliwang Village, Shiliwang Township, Yucheng City, Dezhou City, Shandong Province. Although the traffic is a little remote, it is still convenient to drive or take a taxi. As soon as I stepped into the gate of Yuwangting Museum, I was attracted by its simple and elegant architectural style. The buildings such as Dayu Hall, East and West Side Halls, Bell and Drum Tower are scattered and antique, as if they have traveled through time and space back to ancient times. Every detail here reveals the respect and inheritance of history, which makes people awe-inspiring. The museum has a large collection of historical materials and cultural relics about Dayu's flood control. Through vivid exhibitions and explanations, I deeply felt Dayu's spirit of dedication to the people. In addition, the exploration of the Juqiu site also made me seem to witness the hardships and wisdom of Dayu's flood control with my own eyes. In addition to history and culture, the natural scenery of Yuwangting is also intoxicating. The green trees, the fragrance of flowers, and the sparkling lakes provide tourists with a good place for a leisurely walk and taking pictures. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, listen to the echoes of history, and feel the precipitation of time. In short, the Yuwang Pavilion tourist attraction not only allowed me to appreciate the profoundness of Dayu culture, but also allowed me to find a moment of tranquility and relaxation in my busy life. This trip will become a precious memory for me, and I strongly recommend it to every friend who loves history and culture.
