Location - Southwest of Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong. Getting There - At Fangcun Kengkou Bus Station in Guangzhou there are buses leaving every 20minutes for Xiqiao Mountain. Otherwise if travel from Foshan, public transportation like buses and Didi are easily available. Attractions - The first thing that comes in mind of this place will be the large statue of Guanyin(Goddess of Mercy)sitting on lotus flowers located at Daxian Peak. Besides, this approved national-level forest park is also rich in cultural resources not just the picturesque sceneries from the peak😎. Xiqiao Mountain is a must see when in Foshan. Getting There🚕🚌 - travelling from Guangzhou there are a few transport options. The most convenient but also most expensive is by taxi or Didi. Cost about 120 one way from Panyu. You can also take a bus. Attractions⛩️🌞 - the scenic area is beautiful. Make sure you include the shuttle bus option when purchasing the entrance ticket. There are many attractions which are quite far apart to walk. You can walk up to the Giant Buddha. Several Temples on the way up. We were lucky to witness during prayer time. There is also a lovely lake to explore. You can easily spend a day checking out the different attractions. Food & Restaurants - make sure you take some food or snacks. We didn't see anywhere to buy food inside the scenic area. Just soft drinks and snacks are available. #nationalpark

Getting There - the fastest and probably the most convenient way is probably taking a taxi however, there is also a bus stop near the entrance) Address - Xiaoqian Road and Country Street, Nanhai District Attractions - 61.9-meter-high Monument of Guanyin plus plenty of scenic spots, parks and temples Food & Restaurants - a vegetarian restaurant inside the park The park wasn't too busy and we spent a lovely afternoon there! The park is massive, so you need to buy an electric car ticket, it will save you a lot of time. The statue of Guanyin is very impressive. Xiqiao Flower Garden or 西樵动植物园. What does the tropical climate allow people to o the best? Right, to grow flowers! In fact, there are several locations with different plants and flowers ,sometimes a bit far away from each other, but I have combined them in my introduction. Flowers are beautiful and are presented in countless shapes and forms, combined in different expositions like maze or alley. What I would like to mention separately is an incredible aroma! This place is so fragrant, the smell is so strong, it really made me feel drunk. You will definitely understand you are close to the spot in the forest when you are approaching to this place! #wintergetaway

西樵山天湖公园 or Tian Hu Park at Xiqiao area. This is the lake surrounded by paths and viewing platforms. Nice place. Also there from time to time the dancing lions martial arts show is performed, the have the special scene. Natural beauty immediately take you away from your restless thoughts. It's a pleasure to hang out there during sunny day (even in warm winter ).

Guanying temple in XiQiao Mountain Scenic Area. Very impressive place! The stature of goodness is tall and could be spotted from big distance in this area. This is the highest point there, higher than all trees from hills around. People come here and ask the goodness Guanying to help them to find a partner for life. She is a goddess who's protecting families and helps young lonely hearts to meet each other. The temple area is great and has big open space where the goddess figure looks even bigger. Replica on the walls are another example of local art.

Near the Xiqiao scenic area are 2 really beautiful lakes😄 during the night there are different light shows, a cave with impressive pictures and really delicious sushi which is actually quite cheap. You can walk around both lakes, it’s also worth it during the day but more beautiful at night

yeah we have made it to the top of this scenic area. We walked over 30.000 steps this day but it was totally worth it😍 I haven’t seen such an impressive Buddha before. You can walk around the scenic area, through green valleys, peach gardens or certain temples. So if you travel around foshan, you should stop here

In the evening, look north from the top of Xiqiao Mountain. The whole Foshan will be elegantly displayed in front of you with the afterglow of the setting sun. The wind will pass through the ears. You can feel the change of the city and the glory of the trees. Cicada, the sound of the wind and the rain, feel the cool and cold, and the quiet nature can not be quiet.

Bamboo is tall and straight, slender and long, and looks very special. The bamboo in Xiqiao Mountain is more special, because the bamboo raft of the bamboo here is square.
