Langya Mountain Scenic Area (5A), located in the northwest suburbs of Chuzhou City, is a national scenic spot and national forest park. It is renowned for Ouyang Xiu's "Record of the Drunken Pavilion" and enjoys the reputation of "no other mountain after Penglai" (Figure 2). Based on our 3-hour time limit and senior-friendly requirements, AI provided a core itinerary: "Langya Pavilion + Langya Temple + Shenxiu Lake + Drunken Pavilion," a route that proceeds from high to low, avoiding backtracking, ensuring efficiency and a good experience. Enter from the North Gate of the scenic area, take the shuttle bus to Nantianmen, and ascend to Langya Pavilion (Figure 1), the highest point in the scenic area, overlooking the city of Chuzhou—a crucial node for hiking and sightseeing. Then descend hundreds of steps to Langya Ancient Temple (Figure 3). Originally built in the Tang Dynasty, it is an important remnant of Buddhist culture. The path descends gently... Wangbitan is nestled in a valley. Shenxiu Lake (Figure 4) has a wide expanse with a winding bridge and a pavilion in the center, perfect for boating and sightseeing. Finally, the core of the scenic area is the Zuiweng Pavilion (Figure 5), hailed as the "Number One Pavilion Under Heaven." Built by Ouyang Xiu during the Qingli era of the Song Dynasty, it is a cultural landmark and symbol of Langya Mountain. Other smaller scenic spots include Yingxiang Pavilion (Figure 6), Yefang Garden (Figure 7), and Zuiweng Pool (Figure 8). Returning to the North Gate, it was nearly 5 PM. The setting sun cast its golden rays upon the slightly weathered ancient buildings, the shadows of the trees swaying gently, a scene of timeless beauty (Figure 9).

This seven-attraction combo ticket in Fengyang offers excellent value for money. If you have ample time, it's definitely worth considering.

It completely exceeded my expectations and is highly recommended. It's a truly beautiful gift from nature, and I was amazed by its incredible craftsmanship. It's a truly enjoyable experience. However, mosquitoes can be quite common in early autumn, so I recommend bringing mosquito repellent. There aren't many places to eat or drink, so I recommend bringing some.

It's perfect to see during the National Day holiday; the overall production is excellent, and the scenes are stunning and outstanding.

The bald cypress trees are lush and green, and the lake water is shrouded in mist. A grey heron with a long neck and slender legs stands on the water's edge, its wings outstretched in flight like a crane, exuding an ethereal beauty. This was the most beautiful natural scenery of my trip to Anhui. I sincerely recommend everyone to visit the Bald Cypress Lake National Wetland Park.

Zuiweng Pavilion, the core scenic spot of Langya Mountain Scenic Area, is nestled against the mountain and beside the water, with pavilions scattered throughout, offering a picturesque view at every turn. It exudes ancient charm, combining the beauty of Jiangnan gardens with a profound cultural heritage. Stepping into Zuiweng Pavilion feels like traveling back a thousand years.

This place can definitely become a popular online attraction. It is so beautiful, colorful, dark and mysterious, as if you are in a fantasy palace. It is a good dream, I hope I will sleep forever and never wake up. Some roads are slippery and steep, so you need to be careful when walking.

Personally, I think Nanjing Taipu Temple is a very worthwhile attraction from a historical perspective. It used to be a horse breeding institution in the Ming Dynasty, a third-rank government office. It is now in Chuzhou City. It is very beautifully built, but it lacks interactive elements. It is not interesting enough. In fact, it can learn from the government office in Huai'an, which adds a lot of interesting and interactive factors. So children like it more. It can also add some historical stories, and the historical elements will be better. Overall, it is not bad. Worth visiting

Ming Zhongdu Imperial City National Heritage Park is located on Donghua Road, Fengyang County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. It is the first capital city site built by Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, in his hometown of Fengyang. As a model of Ming Dynasty capital city architecture, Ming Zhongdu was designed strictly in accordance with the "Zhou Li. Kaogong Ji", with a traditional capital city pattern of front court, back bedroom, left ancestral temple and right community, with a north-south central axis running through the city. The project was stopped in the eighth year of Hongwu (1375) due to "labor costs", but it has taken shape and has become one of the most luxurious capital city buildings in Chinese history. It is still under archaeological excavation. I hope that we can see its true appearance in the near future.
