Things to do in Chishui

Our group of seven drove here from Nantong, Jiangsu. This place is great and worth recommending. Although it's not as famous as Huangguoshu Waterfall, it's still very beautiful. The scenery along the way is absolutely stunning. It's definitely worth a visit, especially now that it's the off-season.

This is a rare red rock Danxia landform. The air is fresh inside the scenic area, and there are many safera trees from the dinosaur era along the way. The waterfall cascading down is spectacular and well worth a visit.

Overall, the visit to Chishui Danxia Waterfall was quite pleasant. The water volume was abundant, and the sound was deafening from afar. The water vapor was also very strong up close, so it's recommended to bring a waterproof phone case. Since there is a sightseeing elevator in the scenic area, the overall physical exertion was not high, and there weren't many tourists, making it quite comfortable.

Take bus No. 8 (about 30 minutes, the first bus is at 6:30 and the last bus is at 18:50), and get off at the gate of Datong Ancient Town. The journey takes 20 minutes and the fare is 3 yuan. The ancient town is not big, and it takes about an hour to visit it.
