Thank you for your help.
My only request would be that you could provide some kind of guidance for the hotel parking lot, as it is very difficult to find. I felt that if I went there for the first time, I would end up wandering around the area.
We were very satisfied with the kids' playroom, which was our main attraction.
It was very spacious and had a wide variety of play equipment, so the kids had plenty of fun from check-in to check-out without getting bored.
In addition, there was a free shuttle to a nearby ski resort in the winter, so it was great that we could easily go out to play in the snow without having to drive.
However, the other selling point, all-inclusive, was a disappointment.
The lounge hours were limited, and there were no lids or trays for drinks, as if they were not expecting people to take drinks back to their rooms.
It is clear that one of the reasons the lounge was crowded was that the usage time was short.
Even at the restaurant buffet, there were no cups to take back to the room.
If the buffet is limited to 60 minutes, I would like you to take your coffee home and relax in your room.
Of course, the refrigerator in the room was empty.
In the end, we had to buy expensive plastic bottles, so it is not inclusive at all.
And there is only one vending machine, which is inconvenient.
Think of the lounge as just a welcome drink.
I would like them to consider changing the label to welcome drinks or making the lounge available at any time.
I felt that the issues mentioned in other reviews,
• Long lines at check-in
• Luggage carts available on each floor
• Bathroom amenities
were addressed by the facility.
Best Fuji View from the room. The room was just nice to fit 2 people with 2 luggage. Hotel breakfast at level 4 also provided the best Fuji View. There are multiple selections at their Japanese buffet breakfast too. The hotel does provide complimentary access to the Onsen next to the hotel. If you drive to the Hotel, can get a complimentary parking ticket from Front Desk. Overall I have enjoyed my stay.
Nice Fujisan view from the room. The room is very spacious, can easily fit in a family of 5. The staff service is the best of all. Can rent yukata for free, the wine lounge is perfect, wonderful matcha tea time experience with very relaxing river flow. Also, the taiko performance is free and can win prizes in the bingo game. Absolutely worth the price if you can fully enjoy all the time at the hotel.
For any Yuru Camp anime fans, if you also are interested in an Onsen experience this is the perfect place. The facilities and staff are amazing! I couldn't believe the size of my room, especially after coming from a business hotel in Tokyo. I thought Deluxe Twin was just the ”deluxe” version of a standard single twin size bed room instead of two twin beds but there are no complaints.
Given it's more remote location I was expecting zero English but I was so surprised at how well some of the staff spoke English and had print outs for English speakers. I have to shout out two staff members, Nozomi and Joon Bae's english combined with my limited and grammatically atrocious Japanese they went above and beyond making me understand how everything worked as well as assisting me with my ventures outside of the onsen. They have two e-bikes available for rent which I rode to the next station on the minobu line so I could visit the school that was used in the anime as well as get a taxi to take me to Lake Shibere, from episodes 6 and 7 of season one.
It was my first time in Japan, being the only foreigner at the hotel for the two full days, I only visited the baths once however the facilities are amazing and I plan on going back to use the Onsen more.
Excellent view, facing FUJIYAMA~ the sacred and mysterious volcano, every angle is worth remembering; the most healing moment~ must be the red leaves under Mount Fuji + hot springs + snow-capped Fuji view + Kaiseki cuisine, all of which can be achieved here. You can choose your favorite clothes, which is quite a highlight. Dinner will be delivered to the room, and the service girl will explain it one by one in detail, and experience the concept of service. The food is exquisite and fresh, and it is also matched with various exquisite tableware and creativity. There are also Mount Fuji-shaped cakes and fruits. The meals in the villa area are also produced in the kitchen on the same floor, maintaining the temperature and taste. There will be drum performances and lucky draws after dinner. The club's ice cream and various alcoholic beverages can also be collected at any time. The breakfast is rich and Japanese, and those who arrive late will need to queue. The Lounge also has coffee and snacks. It is relatively quiet in the morning, and you can drink coffee facing Mount Fuji. What a beautiful artistic conception.
The hotel offers excellent service, with friendly and attentive staff that make you feel truly welcomed. The views of Mount Fuji are excellent, creating a breathtaking and relaxing atmosphere. And also the private hot spring is incredibly comfortable. There is a nearby bike rental service and the hotel also provides a shuttle service to and from the station. At the front desk, guests can enjoy delightful tea and snacks, adding a thoughtful touch to the stay. lol :D
I stayed overnight at Glamping Villa Hanz Kawaguchiko and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa offered the perfect blend of luxury and nature, with stunning views of Mount Fuji in the background. The tent was spacious, stylishly furnished, and equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The outdoor barbecue setup made for a fun and delicious dinner under the stars. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed. Waking up to the view of the mountain and the fresh air was truly refreshing. If you’re looking for a unique and cozy glamping experience near Kawaguchiko, this is the place to be.
The stay was great. Private onsen in room facing Fuji San! There’s nothing that I can ask for. Good and services were great too. Definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ resort.

GGuest UserMy stay at Hotel Mifujien in Japan was absolutely delightful. The highlight was the stunning view of Mount Fuji from my room, which created a serene and unforgettable experience. The traditional Japanese-style room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and cultural authenticity. The onsen facilities were exceptional, providing a relaxing soak with breathtaking scenery. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Hotel Mifujien for anyone seeking a peaceful and memorable getaway.
PPICHEWA_I arrived at Kawaguchiko Station in the afternoon and decided to leave my luggage at a locker near the station before visiting Oshino Hakkai. I returned to the station around 5 PM to retrieve my luggage and called the hotel to inquire about their FREE Shuttle Bus service. Luckily, I caught the shuttle bus back to the hotel in time. The driver was very polite and helpful, assisting me with my luggage both ways.
The hotel had a nice and standard atmosphere, both inside and out. The staff at the lobby were friendly and spoke excellent English. They were able to provide me with all the information needed.
My room was a 20 square meter Lake View Room with a stunning view of Mount Fuji. It had two single beds, a desk and chairs The entrance had a large mirror and the storage space. Unfortunately, the remaining space in the room was too small to fully open my 28-inch suitcase. Luckily, I was alone, so I used the second bed to store my belongings. The bathroom was small but well-equipped with a shower, bathtub, and an automatic toilet.
The onsen was located on the 6th floor and was divided into male and female sections. It was clean and spacious. However, around 8-10 PM, it got quite crowded. If you're not accustomed to this culture, you might want to visit during the morning. (Operated Time : 3PM-2AM & 5-10 AM)
The hotel restaurant offered a variety of dishes. I checked the menu and decided to purchase a dinner coupon at the lobby. The dinner buffet was served from 6-9 PM. Breakfast (7-9AM) was included in my package and was slightly different from dinner. Overall, the food was decent but not exceptional. I recommend arriving early for dinner to avoid the crowds.
Key Points:
- The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service every 30 minutes between the hotel and Kawaguchiko Station.
- There are no convenience stores near the hotel. The hotel's convenience store has limited options.
- There is only one restaurant near the hotel, and it's only open for lunch. If you don't have a car, your dining options are limited to the hotel's buffet or instant ramen (from hotel's convenient store at Lobby 1st floor).
GGuest UserThe hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!
SSIRIPORNI was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was—much larger than I expected. The toilet and shower were in separate rooms, which was really convenient. The ryokan-style bed gave a lovely traditional Japanese feel, which I absolutely loved. There's also a window-side table where you can sit and enjoy a full view of Mt. Fuji all day long. I was lucky to visit on a clear day and saw an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji—it made the trip truly unforgettable.
Breakfast was delicious with every dish. The hotel also offers a laundry room, a kids’ playroom, and a stunning Mt. Fuji view onsen—perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and after check-in, there was even a shuttle service to Kawaguchiko Station. Highly recommended!
DDeborah AnnA wonderful way to start my first trip to Japan, the location is right on Lake Kawaguchi and just behind is the Mt Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. The staff were really helpful and friendly, would definitely stay again if I ever get the chance.

LLuvidGreat location for a Fuji view + nearby cafe The Park was a phenomenal experience. Definitely enjoyed the next door combini aswell. However do not like the group requirement to eat at the restaurant and lack of microwave in the rooms. Still highly recommend.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel location is really good and which was the only one I can found around the area when I book my trip. The visitor could call hotel for shuttle bus service at the information center of train station (turn right after exiting); the luggage could be delivered to station if you keep it at front desk and book a delivery service when checkout. Breakfast set is good and not too much but fine Japanese food. And I have the lucky to see mountain Fuji in morning from my lake view room.
ZZhaocanWent with my parents. Check in was relatively straight forward, as was check out. The hotel was quite spacious, the room was to be expected. Relatively basic but clean. Did not eat there. They were able to call us a taxi when needed. We enjoyed the onsen as it had different pools, though not sure about how much of it was “onsen water”.
HHanaSKStayed here for 1 night. The room is clean and cosy. Futon were very comfortable and warm (It was 1 degree Celsius that night and we don't feel cold at all). But there's a heater option on the air conditioner.
Onsen was nice but make sure you follow their rules. You can bring the towel from your room to the onsen, but if you want a new fresh tower it's 500yen (if i rmb correctly).
Breakfast is Japanese style, very hearty. But if you're not a rice person then i suggest to skip. There are 2 timing to choose, 7am or 8am.
You have to book the shuttle van in advance. I booked it during check in for the next day to Kawaguchiko Station. But don't worry if you're unable to book the shuttle van, there's a bus stop just opposite the hotel.
Overall a pleasant stay. The weather wasn't good tho (heavy raining and it was between 1-5 degrees) so we were just chilling in the room the whole time.
