We have always been a fan of NIKKO group of hotel. This is  a new hotel. Very modern looking hotel and great facility. Lovely club lounge with a good range of F&B. Great place to chill. I love the gym. all the gym equipment are made with wood. makes the gym a very special place. Service staff is also amazing. Would love to shout out to  F&B manager Mr Nay Win Q. Great hospitality from him. We 2  small issue with this hotel. Breakfast is great but even though the restaurant  is not even 50% full; we requested for a cup of coffee; the staff replied that it's a buffet and we needed to get our own coffee. Didn't like this experience for a 5 star hotel. Lastly, we had an extra bed in our room unfortunately everything in the room only comes in 2 sets. A reflection of poor room service communication. As a whole I would still recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located on the 4th floor of New Chitose Airport's international departures terminal. The hotel is very new overall and boasts stylish decor. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and had hotel guides available in multiple languages. After check-in, the bell staff helped with luggage and introduced the hotel facilities. Upon reaching the room, they even asked if I'd like them to knock on the door first, following Chinese custom, which I found very thoughtful. The hotel's fourth floor features a lounge, a gym, and an onsen (hot spring). The onsen is divided into male and female baths, each with separate key card access. Although the baths aren't large, the water quality is excellent, and the toiletries provided are comprehensive and smell wonderful. My room offered views of planes taking off and landing – an absolute delight for any aviation enthusiast. This time, I had my luggage sent directly from my previous hotel using a delivery service (Takkyubin) in advance, and it was already placed in my room when I checked in. Arriving at the airport in the afternoon, I could walk ten minutes to the domestic terminal for diverse shopping and dining options, with many souvenir shops open until 8 PM. On the international side, there's also a larger Don Quijote where you can buy cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, though its operating hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Overall, it was a fantastic travel experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Sapporo!

The hotel looks a little far at first (about 10–15 min walk from the station), but with the cool windy weather, it felt like an easy walk. Maybe in mid-summer or snow winter it could be tougher, but during our stay it was very comfortable short walk for us. The room was spacious and spotless. The sofa was already prepared with bed sheets and pillows, making it easy for a 3rd or even 4th guest to sleep (just make sure to put the correct number of guests, including children, when booking). The onsen was excellent – clean, large, and with real spring water. There’s also a washing machine (bring your own detergent), and a kitchenette in the room, though you need to borrow cooking utensils from the front desk, guest need to clean them after use. (No condiments are provided) Breakfast was very good, but the only downside is the 40-minute time limit. Most of the staff were polite and friendly, though one female staff at reception and a male staff at the breakfast area seemed less welcoming. Overall, I’d recommend this place to families who want a spacious room with a small kitchen and a proper onsen. Definitely choose the breakfast plan if you book.

Went there for skiing. Before booking it, I was struggling between Sansui and Park Hyatt. And I’m really glad that we picked Sansui. The location is great, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the free shuttle service is simply top-notch in Niseko. Love the design of the hotel, even the scent in common area. Onsen is also great. The only thing we don’t particularly like was the breakfast. For its price level, the breakfast was too simple (plastic coffee machine).

Great for watching fireworks, but if you want to take photos, you'll need to go downstairs. The windows were really dirty. This weather doesn't require air conditioning; opening the window would be fine, but there were also cobwebs outside. For a room advertised for its fireworks view, it would be much better if the glass were clean. The food wasn't very diverse. While there seemed to be many stalls, the dishes were almost identical for both days. The special dish on the second night's dinner was also quite underwhelming. The service was very good, and the process was smooth. They arranged dining times during check-in, and the shuttle bus was very convenient, though the frequency was low.

This is a somewhat older, traditional Japanese-style hotel. The lobby boasts grand and beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning lake views. The lower level offers a wide range of entertainment facilities and good drinks. However, the rooms and facilities are a bit dated. The majority of guests are Japanese families. The restaurant provides excellent lake views. Breakfast and dinner were decent but nothing to write home about. Given the limited dining options around Lake Toya, eating at the hotel is the most hassle-free choice.

Had a very pleasant stay with my family of 5 pax, 3 pax on tatami and 2 pax on single beds. Breakfast and Dinner was a full traditional Jap meal experience and service was superb. Onsen was definitely a bonus and we enjoyed winding down after each day. As hotel is away from town, having own transport is definitely a must!

MMaer83This is a brand new hotel, perfectly situated with Nakajima Park and the Toyohira River right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. Both the facilities and service are fully up to Marriott's usual high standards, leaving no room for complaint. Our children particularly adored the sweet ********* lady at the front desk. My only minor gripe is the hotel lobby; it's quite small and feels crowded with just 3-5 groups of guests, which doesn't quite match the caliber of the hotel.

MM12150****The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the Red Brick Warehouses, Hachimanzaka Slope, the Mt. Hakodate Ropeway station, and the church district. Although the hotel itself is historic, it's well-maintained overall, and the service is excellent and efficient. The breakfast spread is generous, with fresh and delicious ingredients. There's a convenient Family Mart on the first floor, and the coffee and tea in the lobby are also quite good. You can also book a shuttle to the JR station (though it's only about a kilometer walk, so we chose to stroll). Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hakodate!

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity. Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence. Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled. Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze. As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional. The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship. Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight. For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

MM236470****The facilities are quite old, and for the price, there's no lake view, just a street view that's not aesthetically pleasing at all. There are no facilities for families with children. The first floor is full of shops, which feels very commercialized. Most importantly, there are too many rules, and the staff are inflexible. Check-in time is rigid, they start clearing up before the mealtime is even over, and you have to move your car out of the parking lot by 11:30 AM after check-out. It doesn't feel like they're willing to make any concessions for guests.

11366199****This is an older, established onsen hotel. The public bath was very comfortable and not crowded, with toiletries from Pola and another brand provided. The room was spacious, and the private onsen in the room was also very relaxing. In the lounge area, you can enjoy bread, coffee, and juice, and alcoholic beverages are available in the evenings. The hotel offers a free bus service from Odori Station; we booked the 11:30 AM bus to the hotel and the 1:00 PM bus back to Sapporo, which worked out well for our timing. The hotel's food was just average.

GGuest UserThis review is mainly for the outstanding cafe / coffee shop in the lobby. The team is incredible. They remember me and how I like my coffee, and even though honey isn't available in the cafe the head barrista guy went and found some for me. This makes me feel really super loyal towards OMO hotels in general. My one note from staying the night is the weird bedding. There is something poking my skin from the inside of the bedding, I don't know if it's down feathers, but even when I'm not moving, there is the sensation of something ”biting” me. I don't think it's bed bugs, which usually leave red marks. But the bedding is weird and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I absolutely love the cafe, and the lobby in general is like the Grand Hotels of the previous era. It's my favorite place in Asahikawa. If the beds were improved I would always stay here. Thank you again to the great team in the cafe for making me feel welcome and for giving me the VIP service, you guys are really awesome.
