Excellent apartment, clean and everything we could need. Stayed here with my son for a dad and lad city break. Location is perfect. Very close to the centre. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

This hotel is worth for money though the position is not as convenient as we thought, still not very far from the main city centre and shopping area. And the most impressive is breakfast included, prefect for budget travellers.
City Studios - Rodney Street

City Studios, Rodney Street, is an excellent location in Liverpool - easily accessible for cultural and city attractions. The system for gaining access to the property worked well, in that the access codes came in good time and were fairly easy to use. The studio was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean, with good kitchen facilities. The only thing wrong was that the shower didn't work, although there was plenty of hot water. As we were only staying one night, we didn't ask for help with this, as we only found out quite late in the evening. If we'd been staying longer, we would have contacted the help number, and I'm sure something would have been done about it. We would use this venue again.

The room was spacious and modernly designed. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities provided, including a refrigerator, slippers, a coffee machine, and conveniently located power sockets behind the beds. However, the bathroom design was quite impractical. The shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, likely due to low water pressure since we stayed on the 15th floor (the top floor). The sink and hangers also seemed poorly thought out, as if the designer hadn’t tested them after installation. Only one tissue was found inside the tissue box, and the air conditioning was difficult to adjust for proper ventilation.

Highly disappointed as I booked two nights for my mom and her husband who were visiting the UK for the very first time. My mom is the biggest Beatles fan and I was so excited to book this hotel for her. When I booked, I asked for the hotel to make sure to give her a good view on a high floor not knowing there are only 5 floors. I’ve attached a pic of the literally trashy view she had. Now, if this view is the only option on the 5th floor, then an email should have been sent for better views on lower floors. because I did ask for a high floor not knowing what the hotel is like. No wonder the pictures of the hotel and the rooms when booking are not clear. This hotel is beautiful from the outside but unfortunately the inside is just a regular old hotel with pics of the Beatles scattered around. If this isn’t bad enough, one of the days they left the hotel without taking a shower because there was no hot water and no warning of it. My mom was polite and kind and told me she had a good time, but that’s only because the hotel is in a good location. Parking was a headache as there was no clear direction and she was not told about the fee prior to. Overall, a very disappointing experience. There is a lot of room for improvement here.

Clean hotel and accessible to centre. If you’re going to book for Rooftop make sure it’s suite room as the double room wasn’t that nice view in the balcony. Friendly staff in the breakfast area and to the receptionist who assist us 10th July 2024 (Wednesday) at 15:00 he’s approachable and accommodating I forgot his name he has tattoo. But a bit disappointed. Only continental breakfast you can have it if you’re in a hurry. But for hot breakfast you need to order in the menu and that’s the time they prepare it and serve for you I suggest it’s better everything is ready and hotel guest will just get it by themselves. Second one the receptionist who’s on shift at 11th July 2024 at 12:30 in the afternoon wasn’t that nice. it’s 2 ladies receptionist I pass the key on her and she just said thank you. The other lady just look at us without saying Hello. Front-desk receptionist should be accommodating. not even bother to ask us how’s our stay which should be standard to all Hotel service staff. Receptionist are the front one who promote your Business it’s just my opinion Halyard so I think it’s better to inform them.

We love this hotel. it's central. It could do with some updating in the bathrooms, & some of the mattresses but overall, it's good. The building is beautiful & full of history...

Aside from a couple of dirty chocolate bottle caps on the bed and a few other things left around the room, including the security safe not functioning due to not having been reset since the last guest stayed, it was good. The only issue with the things detailed above is that it means that the bed wasn't cleaned properly at all and that I was unable to leave valuables in the room. The two boys at reception went above and beyond with amenities and were happy to just pass us coffees and waters at no charge. My friend was also unwell and appreciated this greatly. It would've been a 5/5 review had the bed been cleaner and the safe worked. Sadly it was confusing to find the room as well as exit the hotel, as the way we came in had a ”no entry” sign placed on the door shortly thereafter, despite everyone continuing to use it as the only possible way to access the elevator. Our floor was also still under construction.
