Beijing Wtown
Great location, the hotel is within Gubei Water Town. It is a short walk to Simatai great wall cable car and to the main area of the water town. Room was clean and comfortable except that it didn’t have air condition. Called the front desk and was told we’ll have to open the windows. We went in October so it was chill at night. Breakfast spread was amazing, there was so much options. It’s slightly pricey, but you pay for what you get.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Beijing, staying at the Beijing Xinqiao Hotel. This hotel boasts an unbeatable location, making exploring the city by bus, metro, or taxi incredibly convenient. Upon entering, the lobby impresses with its brightness and spaciousness, providing a warm welcome. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, with no deposit required, which is a fantastic perk. Our room was located in Block B. While it was just as expected, the cleanliness of the carpets caught my eye, adding to the overall comfort. One thing to note is that during the winter, the air conditioning only provides heating, with no option for cooling. If you prefer a cooler atmosphere like I do, it would be a significant improvement if they offered individual temperature controls. Though the room lighting was dim and the bathrooms felt compact, I was pleasantly surprised that the hot water was sourced from a hot spring. If that's accurate, it truly enhances the experience! The water pressure and temperature were excellent. The beds provided a refreshing night's sleep, and waking up each morning felt delightful. One minor drawback was the thinness of the walls, which meant that sounds from neighboring rooms could sometimes be heard. Despite these minor issues, I had an incredible stay, and I highly recommend the Beijing Xinqiao Hotel for a memorable experience in the city.

The hotel features hot springs. The hotel's hot spring water is rich and warm, suitable for relaxation. The hot spring pools in the hotel are reasonably distributed, with multiple hot spring pools with different functions, including more than a dozen medicinal baths and private pools, suitable for couples or family groups, with good privacy. There are also open-air hot spring pools: you can enjoy the surrounding natural scenery while soaking in the hot springs. The rainforest environment inside the glass roof is quiet and the air is fresh. Visitors can enjoy the natural beauty while soaking in the hot springs or playing water sports. The hotel's architecture and park design are integrated with the surrounding natural scenery, increasing the overall sense of vacation. There are parent-child parks, billiards, table tennis, sand pots and other recreational facilities in the hotel. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the decoration level is also very good, and there are multiple restaurants and golf courses. Overall, it is worth going to play and stay.

Changping Town/Shisanling Resort
My friend and I bought a two-day, one-night standard room package, which included a choice of skiing or hot springs, and two breakfast buffets. The average cost per person was less than 400 yuan, which was very cost-effective. Facilities: Although the hotel has been around for more than ten years, it is very new overall. The ski resort was just opened last week, and not many people know about it. It costs 100 yuan per person on weekdays, or 88 yuan, and you can play for four hours~ The Shiyong Spring on the right side of the hotel is the hot spring and steaming area. There are about 25 hot spring pools indoors and outdoors, and 5-6 steaming rooms. We soaked outdoors and looked at the stars in the sky~ It was very comfortable There are two restaurants in the hotel, a buffet restaurant and a Chinese restaurant, and a German restaurant, which are near the church in the resort area. You can take a shuttle bus at the hotel entrance. We mainly eat buffets. The lunch price is 138 yuan per person. The dishes are quite satisfactory, with meat, fish, shrimp, pork and beef. The only regret is that there is no coffee at noon. The breakfast buffet dishes are relatively rich. Hygiene: The room is clean, the bedding is neat, and the toiletries are from ahava, which is great~ Environment: The resort is very large. From the hotel, walk up to Tuotuo Bay, which is full of small animals, small trains and carousels, which is very suitable for children to play. For other areas, you can refer to the pictures below. Service: We originally lived on the fourth floor, but the elevator was broken in the past two days. The front desk clerk helped us upgrade the room type and gave us fruits and drinks. The room is clean and bright, and you can see the sunrise in the morning~ When changing rooms, the service brother was very enthusiastic to help with the luggage and reminded us to pay attention to the steps. Our housekeeper Nono is beautiful and thoughtful. Because I have to hold a meeting temporarily, it is not convenient for my friends to rest in the room. After communicating with Nono, she directly opened a new guest room for me, which is convenient for me to hold a meeting in it. Thank you very much.

We were pleasantly surprised by the homely atmosphere upon arrival and were warmly greeted by the host (co-owner). We booked a room to accommodate 4 of us but realised upon arrival that it was a little too small to accommodate all of us. The host immediately gave us another adjoining room within the same chalet at a very reasonable rate. The rooms were very thoughtfully designed, for example there were heat lamps above the shower stall so that one did not have to contend with the cold after a shower; and the bathroom lights were motion sensor activated so that one did not have to stumble around in the middle of the night. The place is well-kept and has excellent and personalised service. We were driven by the host to the Nanshan ski park and nearby places for dinner, and on the last day to the train station; all this at no extra cost. The in-house dinner was good and delicious and very reasonably priced. It is a cozy place for families to gather and engage in recreational activities. We were treated to a traditional tea session within the premises by the host, who was extremely gracious and warm. All the co-owners were also extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, making our short stay there a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you! We will return in the near future! :)
Spring Yingxiang Sky Garden Hotel (Beijing Tiananmen Wangfujing Branch)

Good location for access to the city and lots of good places to eat withing walking distance. Staff were ok, apart from the lady at the front desk who barked at me when I arrived, demanding payment 'You pay, you pay' without even checking that I had already prepaid - She did apologise later, but as they say, first impressions count. The room was ok, quite worn compared with the pictures on the Trip.com website, which are not representative of the condition of the hotel, which is now quite bad, but the biggest let down was the Sky Garden, which was one of the primary reasons I booked the hotel - Please see the pictures included with this review and compare them with those on the Trip.com page - The Sky Garden was actually a rooftop dump! In the UK this is classified as false advertising and illegal. The furniture was broken, rubbish everywhere and even washing hanging out. Since the weather was very good, I was hoping to sit out and enjoy the sky garden, but this was not possible. When I asked about going to the Sky Garden, the staff were not even embarrassed to direct me to it! Hotel not worth the money and better places to stay

I stayed only one night for a birthday weekend with some friends, and the hotel is absolutely amazing. I was upgraded to a suite-like room and I loved the bathtub. The service is great, everyone is friendly and I had wonderful service from one of the employees named Osborn! I was happy that some of the workers spoke some English, but everyone is very polite. We enjoyed the Okterberfest event at the hotel, the ride on the boat was pleasant as well. We didn’t get to bike ride but had a fun time watching people riding and enjoy the nice weather.

🚗Transportation and location: If you drive there, parking is very convenient. The location is right next to the Shuiguan Great Wall. After climbing the Great Wall, you can lie down after walking a few steps back. It is estimated that this is the best location for the Great Wall view nearby. 🧹Environment: The public area is very design-oriented. The room is clean and warm. The dry and wet separation is also very well done. There is also a foot bath bucket in the room, which is full of details. The view on the top floor is invincible. It is great to take pictures in any area of the homestay. Service: I will contact you by phone before check-in to provide recommendations on attractions, food, and routes around the homestay. The breakfast is also good. Pet-friendly, there are two family dogs in the yard, which are super cute. The boss is very enthusiastic and gave souvenirs when I left, which is really heartwarming. Treasure homestay, I will come again~

The location is 620m from Guluo Dajie metro station exit G. When I first arrived, it was difficult to find the hotel but once I am familiar with the direction it's very convenient. Breakfast was great. Costumes are available for photo taking and it's free. Taking a Didi taxi to Daxing airport 60km from hotel only cost you all in RM140 (wise rate) CNY206. The Hotel can assist you on this. All hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Love this place
