Vivid Sydney, the Sydney International Music and Lighting Festival, has successfully held eight sessions since 2009 and has become one of the largest lighting, music and creative festivals in the world. At the Sydney Light Festival in 2016, more than 150 artists from 23 countries created gorgeous lighting devices and projection art. More than 90 lighting devices lit up landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Martin Square. The 2016 Sydney Lighting Festival began on May 27 and lasted 23 days. It ended on June 18.
