＂台儿庄大战遗骸发掘遗址（复原）＂，2011年9月23日，在台儿庄古城重建时，在西门城墙下发现两具头戴钢盔的尸骨残骸，并陆续发掘出头盔、大刀、枪支等遗物，根据其装备样式及体内所中弹头型号，断定均为国军将士。1938年台儿庄大战期间，西门是当时战斗最为激烈的地方之一。＂五十七把大刀定乾坤＂的传奇故事就发生在这里。当时日军攻陷古城西北角，欲夺西门，企图切断中国守军与城内的联系，国军组织了57人的敢死队，手持大刀与日军展开肉搏战，毙敌60多人，我敢死队员44人牺牲。此处为发掘遗址现场复原展示区，原遗骸安葬于台儿庄大战遗址公园内，其它物品陈列于台儿庄大战纪念馆。



真正的台儿庄古城在台儿庄大战中大部分被摧毁了，现在看到的台儿庄古城是在原址上复原重建的，在古城中还能看到台儿庄大战的遗骸，铭记历史。
