The turtle hatchery, located on the beachfront of Galle, now has seven species of sea turtles worldwide, five of which can be seen in Sri Lanka. To protect and breed these living fossils, the Sri Lankan government and some civil society organizations have set up many sea turtle breeding centers on the southern coastline. The turtle center is small, less than 20 minutes down the circle. It is very interesting to see turtle eggs for different days, and the newborn turtle.
