[1] There are several resorts built on Relang Island for visitors to stay. The famous summer movie Momo Tea was shot on this island in 2000.

Heat Wave Island (Pulau Redang) has been listed as a marine park protected area by the Malaysian government. It is prohibited for anyone to fish and take creatures such as seabed coral shellfish in the waters of 23 nautical miles, but diving and undersea photography are encouraged. You can also swim, glide, dive, and chase the wind and waves. Or explore the island's tropical rainforests.
