The biggest attraction here is the 30-meter-high Wanfo Pagoda, which has seven floors. The pagoda's design is very wonderful. Its body is white, its top is Myanmar-style, its middle is Thai-style, and its bottom is Chinese-style. Its shape is similar to Leifeng Pagoda in the legend of White Snake. There are marble Buddha statues and all-body foil Buddha statues on each floor of the pagoda. The four diamonds and Maitreya Buddhas are quite attractive, sitting, standing and lying in positions. The states are different. In addition, there is one of the world's largest outdoor audiovisual, which took 27 years to elaborate construction, surrounded by 16 pillars built around the octagonal pavilion covered. At night, when the lights come on, the Guanyin image becomes more sacred and solemn. The top of the mountain also has a panoramic view of the city, which is not as high as the Qishan Mountain, but also a pleasant view. When climbing the top of the tower, you can take a cable car, which costs 2 Ma. The temple also has a turtle free pond with thousands of turtles waiting for visitors to buy food to feed, but it is dirty here. The best time to visit Jile Temple is undoubtedly the festival, especially the Spring Festival. Every time it comes to festivals, there are colour lights arranged here. And in the Spring Festival, there are prayer lanterns, the scene is very spectacular.

To get to this temple in Penang we have to travel up the funicular railway and take the cable car, and it is a steep and exciting ride that lasted around 5 minutes! We climbed 7 storeys to reach the highest point at the pagoda. The steps can be a little steep at some points but we still managed to conquer it 💪. The views at the top are really breathtaking, thus worthy of our time spent there!

The Kek Lok Si Temple (Chinese: 極樂寺) is a Buddhist temple within the city of George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located at Ayer Itam, it is the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia and an important pilgrimage centre for Buddhists from Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore and other parts of Southeast Asia

there are 2 trams to reach the location where Goddess of Mercy is situated. there were some ritual events on the day of visit so the Q for tram (2nd tram) is about 20mins in the shop area which was quite stuffy.
