CD云上The second part of the 2021 trip ~ Macau, China. I checked into the Lisboa Hotel on the first day, and went out for shopping after checking in. When I walked nearby, I suddenly found that the Tim Fatt Tsai I had recommended before was nearby. The store is small, and the air conditioning is turned on very well. The store only sells shark fins. I ordered one for 75 and one for 100. I won't comment too much, anyway, I came again later, and it is the only store I visited twice in Macau.

I just arrived in Macau and checked in at this store. The store is too small and it is said that there are often long queues. Because it was a bit late in the evening, I ordered a signature clay pot shark's fin. I have to try shark's fin when I come to Macau. The clay pot was still boiling when it was brought up. The braised soup was very thick. There were sea cucumbers and fish maws in the soup. I couldn't tell the shark's fin clearly. Anyway, I ate it. It's shameless to have a fishy taste. The taste is still okay. It's RMB 60 a bowl
It is in a small alley. You need to look carefully. Due to the obstruction of surrounding buildings, there is almost no GPS signal. There are only 3 small tables for four people in the small shop. It opens at 12 noon. You have to go early, otherwise you will have to queue. I recommend the extra-large shark fin for 230 Macau dollars per person, which is the best value.
Macau is brimming with delicious food; if you look carefully, you're sure to find a place you love. Near the Ruins of St. Paul's, there are many small streets. After wandering around for a while, we arrived at the famous Ponte 16. When we arrived in the morning, no shops were open, making it quiet and peaceful, somewhat like an old town street in China. Shops gradually opened in the afternoon. The longest queue was at Tim Fat, because the owner had a large sign saying it was the only branch there, so we had to try it. We each ordered a bowl of shark's fin soup. If you want something a little better, try the clay pot shark's fin soup. Don't try to avoid the queue by ordering takeout; the portion size seems smaller. The bowl of shark's fin soup had quite a bit of stuff in it; the portion was very generous. This is even a recommended shop on Ctrip's Food Guide—impressive!
[Taste] Our signature sea cucumber and fish maw clay pot shark's fin is a must-try on every trip to Macau. [Environment] A small shop with four to five small tables, seating up to 20 people at a time. But those who come here for its reputation are always willing to wait in line outside. [Service] Prices haven't changed much in recent years. There's no seating available, so takeout is recommended.
Tim Fat Shark Fin Soup, located on Rua de Longfu, a street known for its high concentration of food stalls, is a must-try for tourists visiting Macau. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, but most feature shark fin. We ordered the "Bamboo Fungus and Shredded Chicken Shark Fin Soup" and the "Deluxe Shark Fin Soup." The Bamboo Fungus and Shredded Chicken Shark Fin Soup had a rich and flavorful chicken broth, quite thick but not greasy, and was pretty good. The Deluxe Shark Fin Soup is an enhanced version of the Bamboo Fungus and Shredded Chicken Shark Fin Soup. While there wasn't as much chicken and bamboo fungus, the shark fin pieces were larger and very crisp and fresh. If you want large pieces of shark fin, we recommend the Deluxe version.
