There are many delicious traditional small shops near Ruins of St. Paul's, so it's a good idea to look for food nearby. This sweet water shop only opens in the afternoon, so I came across it based on my experience. It is a traditional candy shop and there are many types of sweet water. The bamboo sheng, coconut milk, longan and water chestnuts are a must-try, which is also the signature sugar water here. Bamboo fungus, coconut milk, longan and water chestnuts are refreshing and sweet, with the perfect combination of water chestnuts, coconut milk, bamboo fungus and longan. The longan is thick and sweet, not the ordinary local longan. Coconut milk almond walnuts and coconut milk sago dregs are also good. I will come back next time to try other products.

You can tell that the ingredients are real and there are no additives as soon as you eat it. It is said that the small shop that has been opened for decades and has been quietly operated by several generations is the most heartwarming.

What impressed me most about this restaurant was the attitude of the boss, who looked like an old but energetic uncle in TVB. When we were about to leave after eating, he said thank you to us. The wind outside was a bit cold, but my mood was as full and warm as my belly.

It's located about one or two blocks down from Foxiaolou on Fulong New Street. It's a small shop, mostly frequented by locals. They have a wide variety of dishes. I ordered the fresh coconut milk almond and walnut glutinous rice balls, which were delicious and generally affordable. Very good, highly recommended!
