When we reached the property to check in , no one in reception . Had to call up property manager . Rooms were not ready and had to wait to get into rooms full Of mosquitoes. They provided repellant on request. No swimming pool that was seen on their website. They didn’t confirm the room to trip.com so I was confused with a mail from trip.com to book another property. Since we checked in already , we did not change hotel. After an evening outing we returned to the hotel , the entrance was dark everywhere and we had to use our mobile flash light to reach rooms . Breakfast was provided as per request ( we had to buy our own coffee and tea) However at the end they helped us get transportation to Songkla. Location : great Rest: I think there are better places. They should do something for the dense mosquitoes population in rooms and their cafe and reception area.
Sripakpra Boutique Resort Phatthalung

The entry into the hotel can be confusing as it is divided into 2 zones each having its own parking area and reception, so if you are driving watch carefully for the signs. The hotel is constructed above a lagoon so it is quite different. It's location is isolated but the hotel has a good restaurant and prices there were reasonable. Note if you use the restaurant I suggest paying directly because if you charge to your room a 17% service fee is added. Our room was attractively decorated and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the location is very quiet. The bathroom is a good size and the shower was good. There was a nice balcony overlooking the lagoon. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The staff were all very friendly and helpful but many of them had limited English which can lead to some confusion. One morning my wife ordered one fried egg and got an omelet while I ordered 2 fried eggs with ham and sausage but only got the eggs. The other mornings there was someone cooking the eggs outside so we just went there and ordered our eggs.
Siva Royal Hotel

Good clean hotel with excellent parking especially for motorcycle riders who use this as a stopover on their way North or South. Breakfast very so so but the cafe serves good local food except closes at 8:30pm. If you arrive after this time there is a small air-conditioned restaurant outside on the main road which serves good local and western food. This hotel is ok just for an overnight stopover.
The Centris Hotel Phatthalung

It was a breath of fresh air stepping into the Centris after a string of mediocre hotels on our way south. I particularly appreciated the concierge who guided us into the parking space and carried our bags from the car to the room, and back to the car when we left. The room is comfortable, good air-con that doesn't blow directly onto the bed, a balcony big enough for chair and table, four pillows on the king bed. Cable TV with English speaking channels, CNN, SKYE and HBO, which was a bonus. We ordered room service Steak and beer for B199 which was great. Location is good in the centre of town. At 900 Baht I paid a little more than most, but for my money it was well worth it. I'm giving it five.
Varni Homestay

The welcome and kindness of all the staff is just incredible. They served us breakfast for free at 7:30 am (even though they open at 8 am) even though we had only booked the room in the afternoon. A special thank you to Mister X who went out of his way outside of working hours on a Saturday evening to organize our transfer to Kho Phangan (bus/ferry/hotel) for free with formidable efficiency. A thousand thanks to him and to the entire Varni team. Thierry Casamian

We stayed here in Phatthalung just only 1 night for short vacation after visited in my home town, This resort is exceptional in every way if compared with the price that we paid for. Hotel itself is small cozy luxury boutique with facilities, amenities set up in room was very functional. Nice view of the river close to the hotel. Pool it was spectacular, and the breakfast was tasty. Overall it amazing resort in general and good value for money that we paid, we will come back again for sure !!!
Rimlay Park Resort

Very well-maintained complex with a sufficiently large pool, absolutely quiet location. Rooms are well furnished (e.g. lots of power sockets). The German owner and his Thai wife are always available for advice and questions. The breakfast is very good and lunch/dinner can also be prepared on request. The prices for drinks and food are very moderate.
