We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones.

The hotel price is enough high and our expectation was also higher, but the reality is different. rooms are ok, they gave us a corner room and the view wasn't so good, I booked a bit more expensive for the lake view, but got disappointed with it after my check in and they said there wasn't other choice, all were taken already. The worse thing is their swimming pool, the main one for adults were all the time very cold, the water was frozen, we asked the reason and no response. we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool during our 5 days stay. the another one for kids was too dirty, haven't cleaned it for a while obviously, already smelly like a muddy puddle. even kids were asking why the water was that dirty. The resort includes 5 huge buildings and all were full. super crowded and all the people do use the only one swimming pool and the only one breakfast area. the breakfast was OK many choices of food, but it's impossible to enjoy your meal cause the area isn't fresh or clean. the floor was sticky. I would say they need improve or they now how to make things better but they don't care. especially for summer the swimming pool is so important for every guest but they seems wanna save money and not pay attention on it. feel disgusting and unhealthy after all I saw there.

The hotel is next to Zhuge Bagua Village. I personally think that the price is really high. The environment is also good. It may be that there is no popularity in the off-season. I mainly pass by. Otherwise, it is OK to ask friends to come here to play.

It is a very worthwhile homestay. The owner is a tourist expert, so he is very thoughtful for the guests in all aspects. I invited us to drink coffee in the morning and chatted about a lot of travel experiences together. It was very enthusiastic, but it would not make you feel pressured. Friends who like to travel know that the e-room is clean and hygienic, and floor heating is also installed, which is very warm in winter. The breakfast is also very good!

This is a very cozy hotel. Everything seems new and clean, and the check in is smooth. The people running the place are all friendly, not pushy. It’s a nice place to stay. They have a small pool, clean water. Breakfast has two options- Chinese noodles with dumplings, not the instant type but the real cooked. And the Western option is egg toast with salad. They are dog friendly , and they also have a lovely dog. All in all- I would warmly recommend this cute place.

The first time I experienced the Wilderness of Great Music, it was recommended by a friend. It was like a distant home, so warm! Before check-in, there will be an exclusive butler to help you arrange everything. Any questions will be answered patiently, and the reply speed will be very fast! When you arrive at the hotel, someone will immediately come out to greet you for a drink and carry your luggage. It is already a super six-star service! This time we were received by Sa Sa and Yi Bo. It was really thoughtful, because we brought children and there were so many needs, but no matter what the needs were, we would respond to us as soon as possible. It should have been 12 o’clock in the morning to check out, because The kids got sleepy after eating, and it was delayed until four o'clock. Thank you so much! It’s too humane, the wild of great music really didn’t let me down Those with children can spend a day in the hotel. Going out is a very large ecological park. The environment is good. Lovely hotel located next to most popular old town street, Cangqiao Street. Also back of hotel is the labyrinth of lovely old waterways. It is set back from main street thru a narrow lane that car cannot access. However is a short lane where you can walk in easily. Or you can call up hotel to pick you up in their golf cart infront of Kong Yi Ji Restuarant on Cangqiao Street (only 5mins away). Breakfast spread is sufficient and delicious. Love my hotel room which is large with modern gadgets. I like to thank this hotel's front desk staff (sorry didnt get her name) who helped me in her off duty time at the side of the hot main street trying to solve my prebooked taxi to Ningbo. The didi rid hailing driver somehow went to wrong pickup address and refuse to budge which eventually i have to cancel it. This wonderful young lady used her mobile app to book my ride cos my app just can't work anymore. A note on the didi linked to Alipay or wechat, very frustrating experience for a foreigner. It will work fine initially then later keep asking for a new credit card input to proceed. Does not work with the new credit card too. Do setup other rid hailing app. besides didi. My Ningbo taxi driver said to call this taxi phone no. 95128 in china (standard no. used in whole of china) to get a taxi, but i have yet to try it out.

This is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple. The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits. Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries. The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices. Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The room modern and nice and the pool was nice and refreshing after a hike. The owner could not speak english, but everything worked out well, check-in was quick and he sent us the restaurant menu translated in english. A minus point with the room, our room was not really isolated, so it was quite loud because we could hear your neighbours, people on the floor and the cleaning lady in the early morning. The breakfast and the food was really really good! We tried the spring rolls, tofu salad, eggplant, green beans and everything was really good. Breakfast was also really nice, buffet style with a good variety and they also had instant coffee. The service and friendliness of the staff can be improved, one of the cooking ladies was nice but the other one was a but grumpy. A group of western people also wanted to dine in the restaurant were sent away, although the restaurant was not busy at all. If you have a car, you can park it at the free parking lot and then it is a 3-5 min walk uphill to the hotel. Overall the view from the room and the the price for the value was good, even though next time a would book a hotel directly surrounded by nature.

The decoration style of the hotel belongs to the cream style and intelligence that young people like. The room is clean and tidy, there is no smell, the curtains are electricly opened and closed, the toilet is also automated, the TV is replaced by a projector, and the screen is large. The traffic is very convenient, there is a bus directly to the pier at the door, and there are many seafood restaurants at the door. Xiao Liu at the front desk has a good attitude, can warmly receive customers, and can patiently answer the questions I asked.
