"5 star for facilities, 3 star for service. This lodge has great perks (outdoor Jacuzzi, Sauna, Indoor pool) and this makes it one of the best lodges out in Gudauri. My highlight was using the hot jacuzzi at 9 AM in the morning when it started snowing. The privilege of hot water out in the open was amazing. Breakfast is also decent but live station costs 10 LARI (for e.g Omelette) which came as a surprise to me. A-la-carte menu is well stocked. I especially liked the Shkmeruli in garlic sauce. These perks are from 8 AM - 11 PM.
However, I didn't quite appreciate the service to be honest in general which is why I gave it a low rating. I came during an off season (once the ski season stopped). There were no smiles exchanged at either the reception, restaurant or the house keeping. One would argue that with fewer guests, the quality of service would increase but this instead went downwards. It felt borderline rude as in our country we treat guests with a smile and make sure they feel welcome regardless of it being an off/on season. The only pleasantries we could exchange with were with a middle aged Israeli couple who we met at the pool. Other than that the lodge was pretty much dead in April/May. Our only recourse was to spend the day outside, get back by 6 pm, use the facilities until 10 and then crash to bed."

"The room is very comfortable and comfortable! The problems didn't arise, as I arrived a little not in the season, it was cold at night, heating worked, and everything was super 👍🏻 Look was pleasant to drink coffee and look at the mountains! Hosts - Sofiko and Bichiko are very joyful and hospitality. Recommended different places, and with all helped! I would have been happy to stay in this place 😍"

"The room appeared simple but was incredibly functional and clean, with very comfortable bedding. The best part was the balcony, which directly faced Gergeti Trinity Church and Mount Kazbek, allowing us to admire the distant snow-capped mountains right from our bed. The room rate included two breakfasts, which were authentic Western style. Although quite different from Chinese breakfast, it was a pleasant change once in a while, especially the sausages, desserts, milk, and yogurt, which were all delicious—perhaps due to the fresh ingredients. Parking was easy right outside, making it very convenient for those driving. Just behind the hotel, there's a forest, and above that, the snow-capped mountains, which was absolutely stunning!"

"Because it was listed as the only 5-star hotel in Kazbek on Ctrip, I booked it.
After checking in, it felt more like a self-built motel.
Environment: A single building with a small gravel path and an open area in front of the balcony, also covered in gravel and weeds. The hotel is new, and there's a noticeable renovation smell.
Cleanliness: Given its newness, it's quite good.
Facilities: The room and bathroom are both decent-sized, about 20 square meters overall, but the sink is cramped and won't fit a woman's makeup bag. The balcony is also narrow.
View: Seeing many reviews comparing it to Rooms, I think the view of Mount Kazbek is quite different; it's noticeably smaller, and there's a barrier in front.
Service: The owner was quite welcoming, but the breakfast was limited and simple, and the taste was average. I can only say that I had something non-salty at lunch."

"This is a wonderful place, a delightful atmosphere, impeccable cleanliness, so many thoughtful little touches, silence, beauty, a delicious breakfast, a wonderful aroma, Italian toiletries in the shower, and Boris at reception simply made our day! He greeted us with a warm and welcoming welcome, checked us in, and suggested a delicious place for dinner. There are hammocks, swings, pleasant music, and a delightful atmosphere. We initially considered the Rooms Hotel, but we've never regretted our choice. We simply went to the Rooms Hotel for coffee after checkout and then had breakfast back at the hotel. This hotel left the warmest impression of our trip to Georgia!"

"This hotel offers great value for money. Make sure to book their signature rooms – there are only two of them! These signature rooms are in the best location, very spacious, and offer direct views of the mountaintop church. Waking up to the sunlight hitting the church in the morning was absolutely perfect. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and could communicate in English. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the town market."

Except that the location is not very friendly, everything else is OK.

The overall facilities of the hotel are relatively clean and tidy, and the rooms are quite large. The balcony can take pictures of the beautiful scenery of Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. In addition, the restaurant in the hotel is also very good. It is the best restaurant here and the price is not expensive.

However, the room facilities were a bit basic, and for the price, it felt a little too simple. Maybe that's just how it is in popular tourist areas during peak season. Overall, it's pretty good though!

This is truly one of the best places to stay if you decide to visit Kazbegi. The cottage is cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is very convenient, while the peaceful surroundings make it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
The host is wonderful, very kind, and always ready to help with anything you may need. We felt very welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
We had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kazbegi. It’s a perfect choice if you want to relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and have a comfortable stay.

XikajintiandiudongxilemaThe dining views at this hotel are absolutely stunning! The hotel facilities are also very comprehensive, and the sauna was wonderfully relaxing. The staff were all incredibly warm and attentive. We had dinner at the hotel too; the service was excellent. The food was typical Georgian cuisine, which was a bit too salty for Chinese tastes, but their breakfast spread was incredibly rich and I really enjoyed it!

Convenient stay: It is a homestay, cost-effective. The landlord checked a passport and confirmed the reservation information.
Environment: The mountain view room is set, you can see the snow-capped mountains and the Trinity Church from the balcony of the room, of course, it depends on the weather, if there is fog, you can't see anything.
Facilities: Everything is acceptable for the price/performance ratio. The fly in the ointment is that the bathroom does not separate dry and wet, resulting in a bit slippery in the toilet. I hope that non-slip slippers can be provided.

Stayed at Axien Hotel for a short day stay and it was suitable for a one day visit in Kazbegi.
The room was simple and basic, not fancy, but fine for a short stay. The balcony door had a small issue, which the owner said will be fixed for our next stay. No complimentary water bottles, so bring your own. The owner was very kind and helpful. Overall, a decent option for a short stay.
