The rooms are clean and quiet, and the bathroom is dry and spotless. I appreciate the self-service toiletries, which is very eco-friendly. The front desk staff were warm and enthusiastic, proactively recommending local eateries and attractions. The robot delivery for room service was handy, and there's complimentary wellness tea in the lobby. The breakfast buffet offers a fresh and varied selection. Thereās a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too."

"The hotel is extremely close to the airport, especially Terminal 2. The pickup service was excellent; we only waited about ten minutes at most after calling, and sometimes the car arrived even faster. Highly recommended! The hotel's facilities are also very good. "An absolute 10/10 stay! We genuinely loved The Yard and would happily stay here again. The customer service was top-notch, every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly and incredibly helpful.
The hotel itself has so much character. The traditional exterior is absolutely gorgeous, especially when the red lanterns light up at night, while inside our room was surprisingly spacious, cozy and beautifully decorated. We loved having a proper bathtub, the hot water worked perfectly throughout our stay, and housekeeping was excellent. Fresh towels, bottled water and other necessities were replenished daily, which we really appreciated.
The location was another highlight! Step outside and youāre immediately surrounded by a lively street filled with shops and so much amazing street food, which we absolutely adored. The room looked just like the pictures, quite small, but the large mirror was a nice touch. There was a formaldehyde smell, and the soundproofing was really poor; I could hear everything happening outside or in the next room. There's a separate laundry room, toilet, and shower room, which are professionally cleaned and very tidy."

RRiv11112This hotel is really good. First of all, itās new. Right when you walk in you can tell they put real effort into not looking like a cookie-cutter modern hotel. The design feels distinctly Chinese and you can see they cared about it.
The area around the hotel is excellent. Trees along the street, lots of cafƩs and restaurants nearby. The location is super convenient and nice.
When you walk in, the smell is so nice. It smells like jasmine. It doesnāt smell like a bathroom. Itās quite cozy. Itās not a grand, big, five-star luxurious hotel. But honestly the service is better than the five-star hotels I stayed at on this Beijing trip (Hilton, Hyatt, and others). This one is rated four-star on Trip.com and I think it has better service than all of them. The staff are nicer. Theyāre attentive. They take initiative. They feel warm. Even the manager speaks good English. You can really see they care and pay attention to detail (we had a great experience with Molly's help). They want everybody to have a good experience. They gave us a discount on the room too.
Thereās a lot of good quality fruit and cake. They especially provide traditional Chinese cake and a variety of treats. On the first night they gave traditional Chinese sweets and traditional drinks, plus fresh fruit like watermelon. The watermelon was very juicy and sweet, not bland. You also have the option of a very nice cake or popcorn. I chose the cake, but the popcorn is probably just as delicious.
On the second day they gave us traditional sweets again, like the first night. They call it afternoon tea. The sweets were completely different from the first night. I really appreciate how they gave us a variety of traditional Chinese sweets. It just goes to show how much effort they put into the details and into giving guests a good experience.
We wanted to extend our stay but the original room wasnāt available. They made sure to give us multiple options. When we chose a room, the front desk staff personally took us to tour it. We talked about pricing and she even gave us a discount, about $30 less than the price on Trip.com. That was really nice.
Overall, really good experience. Weāre still here on our second day and super happy. If you come here, this is a great hotel to stay at.

When I asked about upgrading my room type, she immediately and proactively helped me check and change it, quickly finding me a room with a better view. She was patient and polite throughout our conversation, very efficient, and took the initiative to explain the hotel facilities. While the room wasn't huge and the facilities were pretty standard, it's in a prime location where every inch is precious, so that's understandable. The service overall was excellent, especially the front desk staff ā the lady there was fantastic! She helped us with a room upgrade, and when we needed more hangers late at night, she had them sent to our room. The cleaning lady was also very thoughtful; she noticed we needed more tissues and proactively stocked us up. Overall, it was a good experience, so much so that we extended our stay. Definitely recommend it!

Mms_peachUgh, what can I say? The hotel's location is actually quite central; getting anywhere takes about the same amount of time, and it's very convenient to access the subway loop line. Shopping and dining options nearby are also plentiful. The family room I booked is suitable for a family of three or four.
The hotel's service definitely deserves full marks šÆ. They respond to every request and always try their best to resolve issues quickly. However, there were quite a few issues, so to sum it up, it's like 'Lian Po is old' (a Chinese idiom meaning 'still capable, but past one's prime'):
1. The hallway has a very Chinese aesthetic, great for photos.
2. There were dust mites on the bed. My child's ears and legs were bitten. Also, the light in the room's entryway couldn't be turned off properly, among other things. Afterwards, the hotel changed the bedding, fixed the light, and even sent some complimentary fruit and small gifts (a children's toiletry bag).
3. The showerhead in the bathroom was positioned too low, perfect for my 1.3-meter tall daughter, but adults had to crouch. On the other hand, the water pressure was excellent.

The signage, dining, and decor meet international guest standards. The rooms are compact but fully functional. Alcohol wipes are provided to sanitize the toilet seat. The shower stall is space-efficient, with a dry-wet curtain that separates the areas while also ensuring privacy. Lighting controls are user-friendly, though the actual room temperature was slightly higher than what the AC display showed. The minibar offered a good selection of soft drinks, but I couldn't find the usual instant coffee and tea bags, perhaps encouraging guests to visit the unique lobby bar on the first floor. The scent in both the room and public areas was pleasant, and soft background music played during breakfast. This hotel offers excellent value for money and was perfect for my solo business trip. While there are billiards and game machines in the lobby, I didn't have time to enjoy them.
If the price remains affordable, this will be my top choice for business trips to Beijing. It's incredibly convenient for both the Airport Express and subway, and the surrounding area is upscale and peaceful.
