visiting Zhongli Night Market, and definitely, it is much bigger and livelier. this is family-friendly, where there are many game stalls around. Kids love the games. we had a good time walking around and eating some delicious food - 1. mala totu the tofu was soft and tasty, and the mala soup was well flavoured, and the tofu taste was on the dot. 2. sesame oil chicken we tried the chicken meat and added another bowl of vermicelli. the vermicelli soaked up the soup and, thus, was really nice, especially on a cold night. the chicken meat was tender. 3. cuttlefish this cuttlefish was really chewy. the sauce was flavorful. 4. Beancurd ended the night with a cup of cold beancurd. a little too sweet towards the end, but the beancurd was good, and together with the other condiment, it was really refreshing. Chung Yuan Night Market(A Must Go Place)

Visiting Taoyuan city and in Zhongli district? Even if you are not staying in ZhongLi District, you should head to this night market called the Chung Yuan Night Market located at 320, Taoyuan City, Zhongli District, Shijian Rd. This Night market is located right beside the streets where will be mixed with cars, motorbikes and pedestrian all sharing the same road, as all these stores are on the streets itself. It's one of the bigger Night Market here in Taoyuan, where you will find many street snacks like fried chicken, fried pork Ribs, potato and cheese and their famous smelly toufu and Braised innards for food adventurers who wants something unique to try. Laojie River Zhongli, Taiwan

After getting off at MRT Laojie River Station and exiting through Gate 1, turn right and you will find the river. At first glance, I thought the water was black, but it's probably dark due to the riverbed. The water looks shallow and dry, but there are a lot of big fish, which I think might be tilapia. There are birds waiting to catch fish. In the late morning, the weather is still nice and cool. Walking along, it seems that the water is discharged from the downtown area, so there's no one fishing here, and there's no path down to the riverbed, probably because it's more of a drainage canal than a river.
