Xi'an Exhibition | Looking at Beijing and Looking at Chang'an
| Looking at Beijing and Looking at Chang'an. "Looking at Beijing and Looking at Chang'an: An Artistic Journey Across Regions"
In this bustling world, there is a kind of travel that is not measured by footsteps across the land, but by the heart touching the pulse of culture. Today, I want to share with you a special art journey—"Looking at Beijing" and "Looking at Chang'an".
🎨These two projects are not just a simple exchange of spaces; they are a deep dialogue about regionalism and locality. When artists' works are transplanted from familiar soil to an unfamiliar environment, how they tell the stories behind them to a different audience becomes a brand new challenge.
🌍This kind of artistic exchange across regions excites me. It has inspired me to break away from the usual perspective and examine art from a completely new dimension. In Looking at Beijing, I saw the weight and vicissitudes of Chang'an; in Chang'an, I felt the modernity and vitality of Looking at Beijing. This collision and fusion make art more diverse and rich.
"Looking at Beijing" exhibition, by bringing together works of different artists, presents their observations and thoughts on Beijing, and also shows the unique significance of the Wangjing area in artistic creation. The exhibition integrates regionalism and locality into artistic expression, provoking deep reflection on the city, space, and individual experiences, and initiating an artistic dialogue across regions. It also hopes that the cooperation between "Looking at Beijing" and "Looking at Chang'an" will become a starting point for future independent space attempts across regions, facilitating communication everywhere.
