The Five-Foot Road was an important thoroughfare from Sichuan to Yunnan in ancient times, and Dou Sha Guan was the key to the Five-Foot Road. Stepping onto the Five-Foot Road, one can't help but feel the vicissitudes of history. The large bluestone mill is smooth and shiny, and the deepest horseshoe print is about 6-7 cm. For tourists, it is a nostalgic sightseeing road, and for locals, it is a shortcut connecting Dou Sha Guan Ancient Town and neighboring villages, which is used by schoolchildren and villagers every day. At different locations on the Five-Foot Road, one can see large cliff crevices on the steep cliffs on the opposite bank of the Guan River.
