Visiting Seoul they have the war memorial museum, featuring an extensive amount of history, objects, interactive rooms and statues. The place is grand and beautifully designed. Each statue has its own story, you are first greeted by a statue based on real events about two brothers who were divided between the north and the south and met each other in the battlefield, hence falling into each others arms and crying. You see many stories of those who survived, those who helped during the war and how long it took to bring freedom to the south. It is not always mentioned as a highlight to visit in Korea but it is definitely one of the most impressive museums in the world. And make sure to take your time, this place would need at least between 3 to 5 hours to be fully explored
