#OutdoorDate 📍 Museum SAN
A space where nature, art, and architecture harmonize🧡
A strange sense of tranquility emerges deep within the mountains.
Museum SAN is a space where art, amidst this tranquility, purifies the mind.
Designed by architect **Tadao Ando**,
it is impressive for its minimalist beauty created by the fusion of light, water, stone, and nature.
🪨 Harmony of Architecture and Nature
Natural light streaming through concrete walls,
the surface of the water rippling in the breeze,
and the wild greenery blooming in the gaps.
Every element seems calculated yet natural at the same time.
The saying, "It's not that architecture triumphs over nature, but nature embraces architecture," is fitting.
🎨 Exhibition and Spatial Experience
The main building hosts a variety of exhibitions, including paintings, sculptures, and photography.
The highlight, of course, is the James Turrell Gallery.
His work, known as the "Architect of Light,"
is an experience in itself, a direct experience of "feeling light."
It's not just an exhibition to be seen with the eyes, but rather "art to be felt with the body."
🌿 A Day of Rest and Reflection
In the outdoor sculpture park, you can take a leisurely stroll and appreciate art in nature.
Sometimes, looking up at the sky
is the most perfect exhibition.
☕ Museum Café
At the last café we visited,
the mountains and sky were visible through the large windows.
Soothing music, slow coffee, and tranquility.
All of this made for a relaxing end to the day.
