Wuma Street has a long history, and is the symbolic shopping street of Wenzhou, with an integration of shopping, business, culture, entertainment and leisure. Since March 1999, it was named “Fake Free Campaign” model street by the related department of country. Wuma Street is the area of dense trading business culture of Wenzhou ancient city, the building of two sides keeps the west flavor, with Wuweihe, Jinsanyi, Laoxiangshang of hundereds of years of history and department store, Wenzhou restaurant etc. Those ancient stores were established in Qing Dynasty and the Republic China time. Not a few stores have hundred years of history.

Flexing the surrounding area of Mega City Mall in Wenzhou. This is only the one side of the mall where we can see the huge circle. It’s full of vibrant and it’s a beautiful place to chill and unwind. It is also fun to take a walk around the mall. And children friendly, there’s a playground and a lot more! There are many international cuisines here so feel free to venture around.

There are many nice restaurants inside this building , but this Korean inspired BBQ is superb. We love the place and the staffs are very warm and helpful. We enjoyed the food and the service of this restaurant is commendable. The sorrounding area is also nice. It is near Sheraton hotel. You can go there by bus, by car, by taxi and there are many rental bikes around so you can enjoy roaming around the city. 🙂☺️

Getting There - It is located at the mega city in Wenzhou. It is very accessible to go by car or by taxi and by bus. Attractions - The place is an attraction by itself. It’s so beautiful. The mall is sorrounded with parks and water. Food & Restaurants - They serve those food above and drinks. It’s a pretty nice place to chill and unwind. Shopping - The place is best for shopping. It is huge and beautiful. There are many internationally known branded products.

Visited Dongsha Fishing Village and experienced the delicious dish in town. We came unplanned. We just wanted to see the beautiful scenery of this village but we decided to try their food. We went to a restaurant by the entrance of the village, thankfully the owner was very warm to us. It is best to call the restaurant and order the food first before you dine in. l really had a great time at Dongmeng Mountain in Wenzhou City, it made me feel like l was at the Great Wall of China in Beijing 😅, l would so highly recommend anyone who visits Wenzhou to visit this place it’s so so nice 🤩 Wenzhou is home far away from home for me and this is one place l would recommend anyone who is in Wenzhou to visit. If you are ready to climb to reach a breathtaking view - this place is for you 👍 Uncountable steps up the mountain lead you to a newly renovated wall (similar in style to the Great Wall). From there each new bend of the path will open a new view onto the city, mountains, cliffs and the river. This place has it all - beautiful and atmospheric temples, wide and unforgettable open views from the mountain-tops, a legend about the Black Ox, long, winding stairs and more! It took us 4 hours to walk up and come back down again (including time for gazing and photos, but with minimum rest). Getting There - Trains from most cities, we travelled from Ningbo so a high speed train was easy enough as it’s the same province. Attractions - My three favourites were: Jiangxin Island – Wouldn’t use a full day there but it does have some of the recommended sights to see in Wenzhou.
Shuomen Street – I would recommend here in the evenings/nights. This is when the bars open and the street really comes to life!
Huagai Mountain – It was just interesting, there are huge spotlights there in the evening and it was always busy around that area. Hotels - Most hotels are located in a walking distance to everything. We chose the Atour International hotel based on the ‘international’ part of its name and well known reputation. It did feel a little out of the way, but in reality it was very close to the largely populated area. Food & Restaurants - I would recommend using A Maps or DianPing while there to see the smaller places, we visited MT Cafe and Vanilla Coffee from the maps and enjoyed both. Shopping - Souvenir shopping is a must here, we didn’t actually visit any malls though while we were in Wenzhou. The main high street was busy and popular for shopping.

Strolling in the main central shopping street of Wenzhou, eastern costal city in the south of the chinese eastern province of Zhejiang. Lights, decorations, snacks, music... Art pavillons and games for the little ones.. Definitely holidays mood! A pleasant place to visit if you are like the combination between modernity and ancient style of buildings as well as taste the authentic local cuisine, which I really enjoy. .. No spicy! 👌🏻😁 The Wuma street is quite busy everyday but in special times it's crowded. There are also many installations where they do some art and hand-crafted work expositions. This seemed impossible with the pandemic , but Wenzhou has provided a home away from home , and given me a new family and new places to visit in this festive season. The beautiful Christmas decorations kept the festive spirits high! Although it’s winter, the air is filled with love shared by people to one another.
