#Emotional Accommodation I thought Wanju accommodation Stay Byeolha would go well with a refreshing summer day, but it was also a space that went well with a warm autumn day. A place where I could just sit and stare at the artificial pond flowing in the garden that matched the accommodation that was renovated from a Hanok. How healing it was to end the day by taking a half-body bath in a jacuzzi with a little bath salt in the warm sunlight. From the barbecue in the garden to the fire that was crackling after dinner. It's Wanju Emotional Accommodation, a forest area with a cypress forest right in front. 🤗 The forest is right in front and it's surrounded by nature, so it's a healing space itself!! It was especially great because it was designed to give off a camping vibe🔥 ☑️Location: 68 Jukrim Pyeonbaek-gil, Sanggwan-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do ☑️Information: - It's a forest area with a cypress forest right in front of you🌳 - It was great because it had a barbecue facility!! - There are tables and chairs outside so you can have a camping vibe - Make sure to have a bonfire!! #Traveling in June 1️⃣~5️⃣ Ohs Gallery A cozy cafe with a beautiful European flower garden, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The window seats are especially charming, but unfortunately they were already taken by some mothers even though we arrived early! Nevertheless, we were satisfied with the seats in front of the garden with the lovely European flowers. The gallery opens early, making it a great starting point for a travel itinerary. We visited here first. 🍃 Ohs Gallery 📍 24 Odogil, Soyang-myeon, Wanju-gun 🕰 09:30-19:30 🚘 Parking available 6️⃣ Ohsungje's Lonely Tree Did you know that there is a BTS travel course in Wanju? I found out about it when I visited Ohsungje's Lonely Tree! There was even a sign indicating it as part of the BTS course. It's located on the way to Ohs Gallery, and if you're using the gallery, it's a great spot to visit. We arrived before the gallery opened and parked on the side of the road. 🍃 Ohsungje's Lonely Tree 📍 405 Daheung-ri, Soyang-myeon, Wanju-gun 🚘 Roadside parking available 7️⃣ Wibongsanseong Fortress Wibongsanseong Fortress is one of the BTS travel courses in Wanju. It's a spot where many people take pictures of the fortress gate, but even though it's not very high, it was still scary to climb up! After passing by Dube Cafe and Awon, it's a great spot to visit. 🍃 Wibongsanseong Fortress 📍 7 Daheung-ri, Soyang-myeon, Wanju-gun 8️⃣ Songgwangsa Temple In the summer, Songgwangsa Temple is covered with a huge lotus flower garden in the front yard. We visited a little late, so we saw more lotus leaves than flowers, but the vast expanse of lotus flowers was still beautiful! It's located on the way to the courses mentioned above, making it a great spot to stop by on your way there or back. Cafe Canvas in Wanju, Jeonbuk Wanju Innovation City. The yard is incredibly wide, There are various floors, and most importantly, there is a no-kids zone!! 🙅🏻‍♀️ 👧🏻 It's so great.. I've visited Wanju on rainy days a couple of times. The unique hanok atmosphere of Soyang Gotaek becomes even more charming and beautiful on rainy days with the fog☔️ I fell in love with the quiet and beautiful scenery of Awon Gotaek and it was nice even when it rained. Sometimes, the umbrella becomes a great photo prop. It's a great place to quietly heal! You can also stay at a hanok stay, but it won't be easy to make a reservation. I think you can feel the charm of the place just by visiting the gallery and Awon Gotaek. It's a wonderful gallery cafe in front of a quiet lakeside in the Soyang Gotaek area. Most of the famous cafes in Wanju are in the Soyang area, but among them, Os Gallery is famous for its stylish and cool cafe💚 It's pretty in all four seasons, but I think you can enjoy a more wonderful view in the season when you can enjoy the green open-air view! Since there's a Doobae Cafe and Flicker Bookstore, I was able to spend a full day without having to drive to other places. ⠀ On the first day, I watched the beautiful sunset at the cafe, and drank the welcome tea provided free of charge to guests, and on the second day, I listened to the sound of the rain and browsed books at Flicker Bookstore! The 2 days and 1 night at SoyangGoTak was like a dream.

This is Macheondae, Daedunsan Provincial Park, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do. It is a steep and rugged mountain path. There is a cable car. Daedunsan is the site of the Donghak Peasant Movement. ㅡㅡㅡ Donghak Peasant Revolution At the end of the 19th century, Joseon was in chaos due to the government's mismanagement, and its national power was weakened. Japan took advantage of this gap and invaded Joseon with the ambition of invading the continent. At this time, Joseon's peasants rose up and fought against the corrupt government and the Japanese army. Starting on October 10, 1894, hundreds of thousands of Donghak Peasant Revolutionary Army broke out in Samrye, Jeolla Province, and advanced northward to Seoul. In early December of the same year, when they retreated due to inferior weapons in the Battle of Gongju, the Donghak Peasant Army led by Choi Gong-u, about a thousand soldiers, took advantage of the rugged terrain here and fought for three months. 1895. 2. 18 At the stronghold, Daedunsan Seokdugol (798m), 25 leaders of the peasant army fought to the end and met a heroic death. I visited the Bon & Haily cafe, and the atmosphere is just beautiful. The two-story red brick building looks charming even from a distance. The sunlight streaming through the large glass windows was delightful. The menu is diverse, making it fun to choose. I had the signature 'Lemonade,' and it was exceptionally refreshing, probably because it was made with lemons grown on-site. The prices are a bit high, but considering the taste and ambiance, I think it's worth it. The staff were friendly and the service was great. It was particularly impressive that the owner makes the drinks with lemons they personally farm. I also toured the lemon house next to the cafe, and it felt like being in Jeju Island. Next time, I want to try the lemon harvesting experience.

I visited Solar Cafe located in Wanju, Jeonbuk. The exterior of the cafe was so impressive that I had high expectations. As soon as I entered the cafe, I was amazed by the view of Mangyeong River through the large windows. The open view was really nice. The menu was diverse, making it fun to choose. I ordered the signature Solar Juice, which was not only healthy but also delicious. I highly recommend it. The interior of the cafe was decorated in warm wood tones, giving it a cozy feel. Sitting by the window and looking at the Mangyeong River while drinking coffee allowed me to have a relaxing time. An interesting feature is that there are indoor and outdoor soccer fields. It seems like a great place to come with kids. The coffee was good, and the owner was friendly, making it a satisfying cafe overall. I highly recommend this cafe to those who want to quietly heal. Be sure to visit when you come to Wanju.
