Doi Kad Phi, Chiang Rai
Doi Kad Phi, the name is scary enough, but I can tell you that this is a mountain with a beautiful view and a 360-degree sea of fog. During normal times, not many people like to visit, but during long holidays, New Year's, and the end of the old year, people tend to go up to count down and see the stars at the end of the year because the stars are truly within reach.
Doi Kad Phi is a tourist attraction located on the overlapping line between Tambon Huai Chomphu, Mueang District and Tambon Wawi, Mae Suai District, Chiang Rai Province. However, the way up to Doi Kad Phi is via Doi Wawi. The route is quite difficult. Those who bring a sedan must park at the bottom and rent a local vehicle to go up. I recommend that only a 4x4 can go up. The route is quite steep, but I can tell you that the way up is difficult, but it is worth it.
Tourists like to visit Doi Kad Phi during the winter because there is a beautiful 360-degree sea view. There is a tent site and restrooms for tourists. But I must say that you must bring everything yourself to escape the chaos and truly enter nature.
I recommend that anyone who wants to stay here, I repeat, bring everything yourself. Whether it's a tent, mattress, pillow, blanket, food, drinks, firewood, portable electricity, because there's no electricity here and there's really nothing. Having a bathroom is great, so don't miss out on not preparing anything. But as I said, experience something that cuts you off from the outside world for a while and will make your life much happier.
